We have used his services for at least 10 years. We have had painters who if they saw rotting wood, they would only paint over it. If Pete comes into this situation, he will alert you of it and explain the options on repairs. He has a crew that will repair the rotting wood before painting over it. We have been very happy with his services.

I have always found Pete Bergen to be very professional and his personnel to be on top of their game when working at my residence., making sure they cover all items of concern, allow me to inspect everything before they leave, and they clean up every day before they leave. I would highly recommend Bergen's Contracting for remodeling, carpentry and painting, as well as general household repairs.

We had contacted Pete Bergen in 2010 about windows and siding. When we decided to revisit the idea of renovation again this year we contacted him, since we had such a good experience with him last time. He had given us a reasonable estimate for many repair jobs we were considering at that time. When we contacted him he still had our file from last time, so we set up the appointment. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. He went over our house with us, taking time to check each detail with us. My husband and I were impressed with his attitude and knowledge. We ended up going with a company that had done siding at our old house. But we really appreciate all of Pete's efforts on our behalf! We would recommend him, and we'll probably be contacting him again for the rest of the repairs we need!

They are reliable and do good work. They're responsive. When i call I always get a call back. I would recommend them to anyone.

I sometimes use them for handyman work. I had an insurance claim so I don't know if I paid them or the insurance company. I've used them in the past at least six times. They are very thorough and talented in the tasks that they perform. They are punctual, clean and neat. They bring everything together when they are done.

.I have never had such a positive experience in my life. The work was unbelievable. They cam and did it when they said they would. They cleaned up everything and I could not tell they were there except for the repair that was done.

They removed the lattice strips and replaced some wood. They installed a fiberglass screen. They also caulked, prepped and painted the walls. The job went well and everything was fine. The workmen did a wonderful job on the work and cleaned up after the service the done. Pete was easy to work with. I definitely would recommend his company.

I was contacting "handymen services" to perform several different repairs, such as troubleshooting a electrical wall socket repair and a window replacement.

The owner is the one that came out and he was very professional and very nice.

excellent ... pressured washed house on a friday and spent the following monday and tuesday doing repair work and prep. very thorough caulking. very meticulous painting. cleaned up each day.

Can I mail you the events that occurred from 6/2 - 8/5 ? I have written 7 pages that I would rather not try to type. The entire events regarding the services are almost unbelievable.It took almost 4 entire days just to correctly install the attic stairs. I would greatly appreciate allowing me to mail all that happened. I do not want Pete Bergen to return to do anything. I just think you should know all the details. One reason that I called him was because his company had a coupon in the booklet I receive every month from Angies List . I waited a while before I rated Bergens because I did not want this to be an angry rant. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter. Kathy Stricker

They are responsive and do good work. They are fairly priced.

Things worked out quite well. We did find one spot that they did not take care of satisfactorily, we called them and Mr. Bergen came out the next day to fix it. I think they were an excellent company to work with.

They arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done. They answerred any questions we had and showed us a spot or two they discovered while replacing wood that had rotted as well, but didn't replace until they had on okay from us. Our bay window looks better now than it did when the house was built. We love the paint job. They made sure to go over everything as many times as needed to pass our approval.

The job went very well from start to finish. Very hard working crew that was here for 4 straight days and went above and beyond what was needed. As soon as the wood was replaced the painters were priming and painting. The whole process was very painless to us as we saw the expertise of the crew.

I have used them several times. They did very good carpentry work. Their work is good quality.

Pete Bergen is very professional. He came out and took pictures of all the damaged areas. His estimate was very thorough. He and his crew arrived to start the job exactly when he scheduled. They worked hard for 3 days as promised. They did not stop until the job was completed. I have used several contractors, some from Angie's List and some not, and I can say Bergen's is by far the best. They complete the job, clean up and take pride in their work. You may pay a little more for them but it is worth it. They provide an end-to-end solution with very little follow up when the job is completed.

The price was good. They were neat, clean and efficient. They did a fantastic job! I will continue to use them in the future.

Bergen's was very professional about the whole process. They pointed out some repair issues when doing the bid that I wasn't aware of and were very helpful. Their bid was about the same or slightly higher than others but because I felt like they knew what they were doing I went with them. I liked the fact that they could do all of the work needed without me having to use different contractors. They did some other smaller repair jobs that came up without adding on to the price. They did a great job and I would use them again.

He is good and punctual. His staff is good. I am getting ready to use him again as soon as I look at his estimate.

Contractor did an excellent job of performing services and did additional minor work at no additional charge. Work was done per contract, quick and efficient, with a high degree of professionalism. Workmanship was excellent. I've used him before and would use him again. Pete will always make things right if you have a complaint.

Bergens contracting did a really good job. They were knowledgeable and very professional. They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were excellent at cleaning up after themselves. I will use them again in the future if needed.

It could not have gone better. The deck looks really great. The workers were extremely professional. Pete Bergen kept me up to date on the progress throughout the entire process. The deck is very high quality. I would hire them again in a second.
