We moved into a new house in July that has an extreme amount of landscaping, requiring significant upkeep. I attempted to handle it on my own in the beginning, but the task was just too daunting and it's also not something that I know enough about. Based on Angie's List reviews, I contacted Arborscapes to provide me a quote for handling this going forward. Nathan arrived as scheduled for the appointment and did a thorough job inventorying all of our shrubs and trees. He also made various recommendations based on our needs, which included not only the services noted above, but also pest/disease control. After mulling it over for a couple of weeks, I reached out to Arborscapes to set up the work appointment. The crew arrived as scheduled. It took a 3-person crew two full days to complete the work. For the record, that comes up to 48 person-hours - and that's for people that know what they're doing (point is, to do this myself would have taken more time than I'm willing to spend on this project). Most of the boxwoods are of the American variety, which the previous owner insisted needed to be hand trimmed. Nathan also concurred with this when providing the quote. The Arborscapes crew went through and hand trimmed every single one of them. Hanging the swing was not part of the original job, but after my wife mentioned it, the crew leader went out to his truck and got the necessary tools and equipment. He then climbed the tree, taking care to select an appropriate branch and hanging it in such a way that it is now safe and stable. Our landscaping now looks amazing, and my daughter has had much enjoyment on her new swing. I will be using Arborscapes for this going forward.

Nathan gave an estimate, explained how it will be done, by climbing and so on (can't access our back yard with a truck or any other vehicle at all). His crew showed up on time, completed the work professionally and cleaned up reasonably well afterwards. Nathan stopped by to check on their progress mid morning and came back in the afternoon to inspect the work they completed. I will have Nathan to do some pruning for our large poplar trees in late February. I am 100% satisfied and recommend him and his company.

I had to have one of the largest elms in the city of Charlotte removed. It had run it's course and boy was I sad to have to take it down. That being said, I met with Nathan from Arborscapes and had them not only remove the elm but remove all my shrubbery and several smaller trees in order to be able to landscape the fromt yard. Excellent results in their timely, organized and business-like approach. Every person seemed to know their jobs and I am extremely pleased with every job they performed. They cleaned up at the end of every day and were timely in their very large job. I will be using them this fall for landscape design and tree and bush additions. You will be well served to consider them for any of your needs.

The company did an excellent job. the yard looks much better with all the debris cleaned up. They removed alot of the clutter from the dead limbs and branches which opened my view and made the yard look much nicer

unofrtunately, the never reponded to my calls. very frustrating.

I could not have asked for better service. A three man crew showed up around 8AM, prompt and ready to work. They had a wood chipper with them and between their Bobcat and another small Bobcat looking machine with a forklift type frontend started sawing away. I would say they cleared a good 40 trees and removed a lot of ground thatch also. The crew pointed the chipper towards a wooded area so now I can spread some nice mulch in the woods. The stump grinder came the next day and finished the job. Really no mess and no harm. Cost was right. I will hire them again.

This is the second time I have used this company's service (used them a couple of years ago) and have been very pleased both times. They are extremely professional, were on time for both the estimate and work appointment, and were very understanding of my desire to conserve the trees as much as possible, but also gave me helpful advice on what needed to be trimmed. (Other tree services have scared me with how eager they were to cut trees down!) Arborscapes isn't like this at all; instead they listen to what the customer wants and there is no pressure to perform additional work. They are also very reasonable in their pricing which is a relief, for as a single mom, tree trimming is not exactly a line item in my annual budget. I have been impressed with Arborscapes' tree trim work as they strive to keep the beauty and shape of a tree even when a lot of pruning is required (like getting large branches off a house). They are very responsible and cut trees the correct way to avoid any possible damage to surrounding tress or structures. Most impressive is how much dead wood they find and remove from trees; they are extremely thorough! And they leave the yard completely free of branches/twigs etc. from their work. The foreman was very courteous and did a complete walk-thru with me before and after the work to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Needless to say I am very satisfied with Arborscapes service!

They are very good in pricing. I had them before for trimming and removing some trees. They are price worthy and pretty good. They did a good job and cleaned up well.

Arborscapes Tree & Landscape Specialists Inc was punctual, professional, kind, cleaned up after themselves, and even trimmed a bush that wasn't in our contract, just to be nice. There was a lot of work to be done and they got it done quickly and efficiently. When I called for information, they got me into the schedule very quickly. It was an overall good experience.

I was a little concerned when guy who showed up for the estimate wasn't the manager but more of a crew chief. He said he was going on some sales runs and could discuss the job. We reviewed the work to be done and he had good advice. So I asked him to be sure to be on the job since he had been through the details with me. He returned on the day on time and the team did a very good job with the trim and trench. If I have them do more work I will ask for this same man.

They have done tree removal, pruning, and trimming for us. The owner is extremely knowledgable and personable. He is very easy to work with. They did treatment on a lightening damaged hickory tree, and also removed a very large hickory tree that had died because of lightening damage.

Great! Love working with these guys. Would highly recommend using them and have to a couple of my neighbors. Some confusion around the stump grind... that's the only reason I put B for punctuality. A very minor issue though. Other than that, everything was flawless and highly professional as always. They even take the time afterward to make sure all the gates are shut and to blow off the driveway. I appreciate the desire to go above and beyond!

The service was good. They were on time. They are on time, and they were honest with me about what I needed.

Got referrals to this company from two people who thought highly of their past landscaping work. So called and tried to schedule a time for an estimate. Left three phone messages and an email over the course of four days for "Jason", who purportedly manages the landscaping side of the business. After a week, still have not received even the simple courtesy of a reply of any kind, so, giving up on them. Very unprofessional.

The team was punctual and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Price was very fair and the work performed was great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tree removal services and would use them again in the future if needed.

I hate to leave a negative review, because I'm sure the work they do is terrific, but I am disappointed by the fact that this company seems has no time to undertake my project and simply won't say so. I've had other busy providers let me know that my name would be placed on a wait list and have been honest about the length of that wait, which I can fully respect. In sum, I feel that a more honest management of my expectations would have been appreciated.

Nathan is very responsive and has great suggestions for saving trees yet is reasonable if you want to take some down. Prices are reasonable. They took down 3 trees and ground the stumps and trimmed up some that were touching house. Great job - clean, professional.

Arborscape was the second company I contacted about the work I needed done. The first company was uncommunicative, hard to schedule, unprofessional and way more expensive. Arborscape was very professional. They arranged to meet with me, look at the work to be done, and listen to my questions and concerns. They looked at the three trees I was concerned about. One definately needed to be taken down. They examined the others and recommended I just prune off the dead limbs. The tree itself was fine. I was impressed that they didn't try to gouge me for the extra business. We agreed on a date and time to have the work done. The work crew came about a half hour late -- but once they started working it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Watching them work was very impressive. They left my yard looking better than when they arrived, aside from a few tire marks from the front-end loader they used to move the tree-pieces from the yard to their chipper. I will definately call them again when I need more tree work done. They also do landscaping. I'll be calling them for that, too.

These guys did an awesome job. Nathan came out to provide the quote, he was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. IT was a little tough getting hold of Nathan to get the job scheduled but it is a busy time of year, so I understand. The crew that came out were excellent, they spent more than a day onsite and did a fantastic job. Clean up was excellent. This was a very easy company to deal with, I have always admired some of the other yards in the neighborhood that I know they have done. Would not hesitate to call use them again.
