 + 0 moreThe work was done by Richard Means' employees they were very good and consciences of their work did a very good job but it took for ever they started October 7,2013 and we are January 6, 2014 and the I understand the weather can delay the work but 3 months was too too long.
Description of Work: front door still has to be sanded and varnish

 + 0 moreThe thing that mattered most was the quality of the work and I believe that was excellent. The problem was the time it took to get it done. Yes, the outside work was delayed by rain several times, not their fault of course. Put even inside work seemed to take a long time to complete. Again, when completed it was excellent work. Richard (the owner) was always available by phone and responsive to my questions. The crew were all we really had contact with. They were friendly and professional for the most part. Due to the level of quality of the work done, I will use them again.
Description of Work: Repaired and painted ceiling in one room. Painted walls and trim in Master Bath. Painted fence surrounding pool. Painted concrete sidewalk surrounding pool.

 + 0 moreMr. Means was quick arrange a visit for an estimate and his crew were able to start a couple of days later which was pleasing. The estimate I thought was very reasonable and true to the amount paid after the work. In fact, the shutters turned out to be below the cost I expected. Due to a particularly rainy period while I was out of town, it took nearly 3 weeks to finish the shutters. This is beyond control of Mr. Means of course, I only mention it because the crew arrived one morning unannounced to remove the shutters when it would have been preferrable to have an update of when the work could be finished beyond the notice of the first week's delay, and notice of their arrival beforehand. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of the painting and the crew was very courteous. I would hire Means Painting again.

 + 0 moreMeans Painting LLC painted the trim on the exterior of my home, Richard Means and his crew, Nate and Casey did an excellent job of prep work, painting and some carpentry work that was needed. Richard had suggestions for some problems and the work was completed in a professional manner and to my satisfaction. The job took longer than expected due to weather mainly. They were careful, polite, good workers, and good painters. I'm very pleased with the job .
