We just bought a house about an hour away from where we lived. The inspector found some shingle damage and told use the roof was only good for another year or two. We negotiated with the seller for them to pay an amount that was estimated to be about half the cost of a new roof. Our real estate agent got an estimate and I got 2 others that was quite a bit higher than anyone thought. Plus we wanted to upgrade to architectural shingles. We had a mortgage closing related deadline to let our lender know who would do the job. At the last minute I checked with Steve at Tip Top Roofing. He went out and looked at the house on his own and e-mailed me an estimate the very next day. I was able to negotiate the price I wanted, including the upgrade to architectural shingles. His crew came within 2 weeks, after some weather delays. They got the job done over parts of 3 days. The roof looks great and they cleaned up very well after themselves. They did no damage to outdoor furniture or shrubbery.

The roof looks wonderful and we feel great about it. The crew of four showed up on time and worked very hard in a coordinated manner throughout each day. They worked as a team to complete sections of the roof in sequence and they installed attic fans expertly. The crew perfectly protected portions of the roof that had yet to have the new shingles applied during an interval of rain. The crew covered shrubery and the deck over a four day period with tarps such that no damage occured and clean-up was facilitated and done well. We are very satisfied with the company that did the work and especially pleased with the look of the new roof.

Workmen arrived on date and time as promised. Took extreme care to place ladders & truck so as not to damage gutters & shrubs. Work was completed fast & efficiently. Mr. Rarem and his crew were very courteous & professional.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Everything was first rate. I called them concerning a leak and left a message for them to return my call. They responded within an hour and made arrangements to come out that morning. The owner checked out the attic and found the source of the leak immediately (a bad seal on the heater exhaust pipe). He had a replacement in his truck and offered to replace it then or wait until I got a second opinion. I thought his estimate was very reasonable so I asked him to fix it then. He was very friendly and came across as experienced and professional. I would definitely call them again.

I contacted Tip Top Roofing, and two other companies, for a quote on replacing my roof which was leaking due to hail damage. I received a prompt response from all the contractors, but Tip Top had the best answer to my questions about how the job would be done. They are licensed, have workman's comp insurance coverage, and were recommended by others on Angie's List. When I told them that I would be "picky" about the job, they were happy and said that was the type of customer they wanted, one that really cared about the quality of the job. I must admit, I was surprised by that response, but glad to hear it. I chose Tip Top for the job. They kept me informed about every step of the process. They were on time, they were efficient, and they did a quality job. Each day they cleaned up the work site and removed any debris and nails. The job was delayed a day or two because of rain, but they covered the entire construction area with a tarp and the rainwater never touched the roofing lumber. A year later, I am still very pleased with the job they did. I highly recommend them.

I needed two solar powered attic vent fans installed and was not sure who to call. Since it dealt with the roof and I wanted to be sure it was properly sealed, I decided to find a roofing comapny. Called Tip Top Roofing after looking them up on Angie's list. Steven Rorem came out right away and gave a fair estimate. We set a time and had the work done. The installer came right on time and we went over the loactions for the install and the aiming of the solar panel. After taht we hardly knew he was here. The fans were quickly installed and the work area thouroughly cleaned. The invoice arrived promptly by email and we were done. We were very pleased with all aspects of the interaction with Tip Top Roofing.

It went great, they came with a good size crew and finished the job in just a few hours without us needing to be there. There were no spare nails on the ground or debris to be dealt with. The shingles color matched what we have now almost perfectly even though our other shingles are almost 10 years old. We could not have been any happier with their work, and we have recommended them to several of our neighbors and friends.

Tip Top Roofing has done minor roof repairs for our homeowners association several times over the past year. Owner Steve Rorem always returns phone calls, always shows up when he says he will and always does quality work at a reasonable price. Steve is very accommodating and easy to work with, a complete professional.

So impressed with Steve's call back response time, and arrival time to do estimate. He was at the job site when he said he would be and completed all work. He was very kind, professional, and fair. He's honest & professional. The warranty is good. A year later the roof is still leak-free. The price was good as well. UPDATE 9/16/15: Roof is still in great condition and no leaks, everything looks great! If I had to have additional roofing work done, I'd use them again!

From the beginning, the estimate, the materials and labor, and follow up were incredibly professional! No property damage at all to the perimeter and lower bushes. All was done in timeframe promised. Would strongly recommend this team to anyone. The owner was highly engaged and responsive to questions. If only all contractors were this top notch . . .

I had water coming in my house. I got in touch with Tip Top Roofing. Steven Rorem returned my call quickly, made an appointment to come and tell me what the problem was. He arrived when he said he would, determined that there was a problem with the flasshing at the top of the chimney, asked if I wished it to be repaired that day. As I agreed that he make the repair, he did so at that time. He was very professional in every way. I would definitely refer him to others. Also, when my roof needs to be replaced in a few years, he will be at the top of my list to call.

I called them (twice) to make an appointment for a roofing estimate. They never returned my calls.

Steve was on time, very professional, and fast. After he was done, he explained what he did with visuals, pieces of shingle and metal, which I appreciated. He charged me what he quoted me. I will definitely call him again in the future for any other roofing needs.

They had the 2nd lowest quote, I found them to be the most professional, experienced, courteous and prompt with providing information.

After hearing a song and dance routine from another roofer about how I needed 1200 dollars in repairs, I called Steven Rorem at Tip Top. He made an appointment to come out, kept the appointment and took me up to the roof to show me where the problem was and then repaired it. Total cost was 100 dollars. I was stunned. I was impressed enough to suggest him to my 83 year mother for her roof work.

They were wonderful. They were very courteous and clean. They kept things going and they had to be here for three days. We were very pleased with their job. The owner came on Monday to kind of review everything and we paid him. It was a pleasant experience. They were excellent. We have already recommended them to others. Their price was comparable to three other estimates that we had. We got a Thank you note for their business two days after their completion. We never had a company do that. They were very professional. The work included not only architectural shingles, but also a section of flat roofing. They also replaced a section of decking that was rotting at a reasonable cost. This was all done with skill and professionalism. The cleanup was great. No nails or trash anywhere. They left our house and property better than they found it. Thank you Steve and crew!

In a time when customer service has all but disappeared, Tip Top Roofing is a rare find. From the initial calls about getting an estimate until the job was finished, Steve Rorem (the owner) was always available and quick to call back about any questions. Things went very smoothly and I was informed of everything during the process. Tip Top wasn't the lowest price, but they weren't the highest either. They fell near the middle. Everything was cleaned up after the job. I found maybe a handful of nails that washed out of the gutters. I highly recommend Tip Top roofing and would call them again for work.

Mr. Roerm responded quickly when called for an estimate. The contract he provided was clear and comprehensive. There was a delay in Tip Top receiving the roofing from the manufacturer. Mr. Roerm contacted us and informed us about the delay in shipping so we did not have to worry about "why they weren't there". The work was completed quickly, in a professional manner, and looks great as well. Tip Top wasn't the highest or lowest estimate we received, but the work was definitely the best quality of any we checked.

Steve came out and gave me an estimate and had someone here in two days to perform the repairs. Very Professional and expediant. Highly recommended.

Tip Top's estimate was close to the other estimates I had. The fact they were local , and could get started right away, was a part of my selection. I was pleased with the quality of work, and how they cleaned up. They've also provided a life time warranty on their work. I work third shift so it was very important to me to get them started and working so it didn't disturb my sleep. They were always promptly on time. Once, they had car trouble, and they called another guy to get the workers to my job. If I had another house to roof, they would be the ones to roof it.

Steve, the owner I believe, responded timely and called back the same day. He came the following morning and repaired the leak. So far so good. I am pleased with Steve/Tip Top Roofing and would use them again.
