Steven runs a professional and responsive company. Every aspect of this transaction was "tip-top". The company's attention to detail, responsiveness, communication, workmanship, and follow-up was prompt, personable and refreshing. I grew up around the building trades learning what is and isn't quality workmanship from my Dad, a 3rd-generation commercial general contractor. Rehire? Absolutely. Though I will not likely own this property long enough to need to replace the roofing, Tip-Top will be the first company I call if I do. Thanks, Steven!

They arrived earlier than scheduled. The work looks beautiful and they were very professional, great attention to detail, accurate estimate, and the owner personally inspected the work. I also found out that the warranty is transferable. I used them before for a leak on the other side of the roof and I wouldn't go to anyone else in the future.

I was not impressed with the service. He just walked around the roof and said it was fine. I was more concerned with my sky lights and everything and he looked at those and he really didn't want to deal with skylights. I was not impressed with him, not paying $94.00 he did finally go back he said "do you want me to clean the skylights" and I said yes. He just took some Windex and put that on them and that was it. I was not impressed at all.

I called several companies Tuesday when I discovered the leak in my kitchen. The first one never called me back, the second one's mail box was full so I didn't bother trying again. But when I called Tip Top, I had to leave a message, but within 5 minutes, Steve called me back and explained he had been on the phone. We spoke for a few minutes and he said he would check his schedule and get back to me by Friday. The rain was supposed to clear out on Wednesday so I said Friday was fine. Early Thursday morning, to my surprise, Steve called and asked if he could come over between 2 and 3 that afternoon. Yes! He arrived a little after 2, looked over the situation in the house and then proceeded to go up on the roof and identify the problem. The flashing around one of my vent pipes was missing which was probably causing my problem. He also said my chimney needed some flashing too which he would redo while he was up there. He was very courteous, discussed with me what he thought was the problem, and how he would resolve it, and went right to work. When he found the problem was deeper than originally thought, he took the extra time to continue to fix it thoroughly. He also looked over the roof when I asked him to give me an opinion as to the overall condition of the roof. He said it was fine. He told me to call him if I had any further problems. He was here about an hour. I would hire him again and certainly recommend him to anyone who needed roofing done. He is very professional and a pleasure to do business with. I felt completely confident in his knowledge and ability to fix the problem. Thank you Angie's List for recommending this company.

He not only performed the work for a fair price but answered my general roofing questions as he worked. Nice guy, very professional. Highly recommend.

Steve was there right on time and got straight to work. Went up top to inspect my roof and found a few issues, including a small hole in a ridge cap, some missing/broken shingles and some damaged rain collars. He advised me of my options and then quickly made the repairs. There's been no further leaking, even after the heavy rain we got last night (10/2/15). I'm very pleased with the work and I believe I got excellent service at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to call on him again in the future.

He came out and discussed about any concerns I had with the roof. I told him about the water that would accumulate in the microwave after a rain and I mentioned that I thought it was the vent. I also mentioned that the vent was no longer used, so he said that he could remove the vent and "patch" the roof where the vent was. We agreed that would work and he also inspected the other parts of the roof. I was very happy with his quick service and professionalism.

Steve was quick to respond when I called and was able to come to the house the very next day. He was thorough in checking out the chimney both inside the attic and on the roof. He gave me his honest assessment of the situation and noted that the leaking I'd experienced was not from any obvious or discernable cause. I like that he started with the best possible culprit and addressed it, with the understanding that we might have to try tackling it different ways. When my next roofing issue arises, I'll be calling on him, but this was certainly a very satisfactory experience.

we purchased the inspection knowing there were some issues with our roof; all it turned out to be was the drip edge was not installed by the previous homeowner - $225 to put it all the way around the house. It looks great & we are pleased with his work.

I had a leak in roof over living roof due to a bad roofing job by another contractor a few years ago. Steven came out promptly to check for problem and sent someone out the next morning to repair the roof where it was leaking and so far no more leaks, I was very impressed with their professional work and would definitely use them again if needed and would highly recommend them to anyone. Job well done.

Steven was very nice. I saw him working on another neighbors roof and stopped by to get his contact information. His quote was double what another "A" roofer was Angie's List. He looked at my inspection report and provided a quote...the other roofer came to the house and went up himself to be sure his quote was all inclusive. He found more items than the inspector (inspector did not go up on roof) and was still half the cost. Another neighbor had a similar experience. Asked him how much to replace his roof and was shocked at the pricing. Steven is professional and I do not doubt does amazing work, but the pricing is too high.

They were top notch. They were where they said they would be when they said they would be and they did what they said they were gonna do. They even discovered some problems that weren't evident at first, and fixed those for me for an extremely fair price. They were easy to communicate with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Best contractor I've ever worked with. Quote was fair, the service was quick, and they cleaned up very good. It was a very painless process. I don't make a lot of recommendations but I would recommend them for roofing services. I think they also got some more work in our neighborhood based on the work they did on my house.

I did several estimates for cost and quality, and Tip Top Roofing made the best trustworthy bid. A complicated job, but they did it well and in the promised time frame. I regret that I did not know about the quality of their work for the cost required. Recommend without qualification.
