Beginning with the estimate, punctuality just gives you the right vibe with regard to this company. Joe was going tp be about 7 minutes later than our agreed time to meet due to traffic, and I received a call to advise me of that fact. I asked for an estimate to add a couple of rooms to the job, which we agreed upon....I never felt rushed in making my decision about the colors for the rooms I added...and Joe went so far as to make a call to Sherwin Williams to get the numbers for some paint he had used on another job, because he thought they might look good in my home - He was right- The punctuality part followed through on the entire job. Francisco and his partner were at the house promptly at 8AM. Drop cloths were in place, and the painting well underway within the hour. If it weren't for the smell of new paint, I wouldn't have known they were in the house. Janet came in and took care of the trim work. I think she missed her calling - she could have been a surgeon, with the precision and steady hand she has. They completed the job in 2 1/2 days. They will have my business again, when I'm ready to paint the exterior. If I could clone them all, I would.

When I first met Joe, I was very impressed. He seemed straightforward and friendly, and although he was not my least expensive quote, we chose to use Vice Versa anyway because we felt comfortable working with Joe. We had some initial difficulties getting the job scheduled, but Joe and his crew came out to paint one weekend while we were out of town. When we got back, Joe said he was 95% done with the house, and we needed to stop by for a walk-through. When we saw the house, we found MANY issues that needed to be addressed. In short, the house was nowhere near 95% done. Most of the problems were from sloppy workmanship and lack of attention to detail. Joe apologized and committed to getting these issues fixed. It took several more visits from Joe before the majority of the issues were fixed, and even now, we're still finding some issues with the paint in certain rooms. It was a frustrating situation because it prevented us from moving into our house when planned. Joe was helpful in coming out to touch up and painted the quarter-round on the baseboards after the new flooring was installed, as stated. He and his crew were professional, and we appreciated that Joe kept trying to get it right. In addition to these issues, Joe's crew broke three sets of vertical blinds in our house. Thankfully, we already had plans to replace these, so we didn't address the situation with Joe. After we got new custom blinds installed, Joe came out to do a final touch-up and ended up breaking one of the brand new sets of blinds. He paid for a new set, but it was inconvenient nonetheless. Again, issues with Joe and his crew not being careful and attentive with their work led to problems. Despite frustrations with Joe and his team, we then asked Joe to paint the interior of a rental unit we own. Joe told us that he would start the job before the end of a week and hoped to be finished by the end of the weekend. We stopped by that weekend to check on progress and the job hadn't even been started. We called Joe, and he said that his crew "defected" and he was trying to find guys to start the job the following week. I would have appreciated a phone call from Joe if the crew wasn't able to start the job when stated, but that did not happen. We had to call Joe multiple times to check in on the progress of the job when we hadn't heard from him. Joe's crew eventually came out to paint the unit, and after Joe said that the job was done, my husband and I went to check it out. Again, we had a long list of issues due to poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. The job was clearly not done at that point. Joe again committed to fixing these problems, but it took a couple more visits for him to wrap up the job. Since it took so long to wrap up the job, Joe came down a little on the cost of the job, which was helpful. While I realize that there will always be a punch list of items that need to be touched up or fixed with a painter, the difficulties with scheduling and the number of additional visits from Joe and his crew set us back quite a bit on our timelines (moving into the new house, renting our rental unit). I would have also expected that Joe and his team would have been more thorough in reviewing their work prior to letting me know that these jobs were done, to minimize issues that may come up during the walk-through. Overall, we liked Joe and his commitment to getting the job done right, but it was a frustrating experience with both homes that he painted for us.

Could not have asked for better service. Fair estimate provided mid-week. Work started following Monday and completed Friday (rained Tuesday and Wedesday, Holiday on Thursday). Fair price, prompt, polite and very high quality work. Will use again.

I almost don't want to tell you how great they are because I don't want them to be totally booked next time I need them but here goes: A team of employees showed up early but waited for the whole team to arrive and rang the bell exactly on time. They are clearly people who are full time painters at the expert level. They had a strategy before they arrived. Joe knew when he quoted us exactly what kind of paint and primer would be necessary to cover the job. They were painting not only the walls but the ceilings as we had new orange peel texture applied by another firm. Joe knew what it would take to make sure the paint was properly applied. One person was painting the ceiling, one was caulking areas, one was painting the cut in - they were like a painting machine. They were careful to cover everything so no paint would get on furniture or counter tops. They painted over deep shelves (not wood but drywall and textured) and did an excellent job of professionally applying two colors of paint on joining walls and arches. They completed the job by painting our baseboards, air vents and they installed our face-plates that we had removed before the job. These are fast, clean, trustworthy guys who get in and get the job done. Joe told us that if we saw anything that was wrong to be sure and call him and they would come back and fix it - it was a rainy day and we had removed light fixtures in our remodeling so we couldn't see imperfections - but there aren't any that we've notice. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.

Joe did an excellent job! It took he and his team three days to complete the interior of our home. Once the job was complete, Joe came back on his day off and finished some minor touch ups. Phillip and his crew were on time, courteous, skillful, hard-working, and completed the work in 3 and 1/2 days. I was so very pleased that i am finding other work with them for the future. How rare to find responsible contract workers! Customer service is difficult to find presently, however, Vice- Versa Painting delivers and with professionalism. I feel like I am living in a new home. Phillip was great! He was quick to respond when I asked for a quote and very helpful. He was very patient with me about the my color choices (even when I couldn't make up my mind).

From the very start, I was impressed. Joe returned my initial phone call the morning after. Joe showed up on time for the quote and evaluation. He was very professional and did not take up a lot of my time. The project was started on the set date and went smoothly there after. All of the members of Joe's team did a great job, especially Janet. She was wonderful. It started the day before my birthday and on my birthday (which was terrible... my husbands Mom ended up in the hospital and my neck gave out on me and I almost couldn't move it to drive home.) Janet gave me a neck massage which actually helped and then brought me a candle the next day for my birthday. How sweet is that? The work was awesome. We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out very well. We were very happy with them. They were very accommodating, they did it all very fast.

Excellent job done. I will continue using them for other painting jobs around the house! Philip was very accommodating to the time schedule. He was punctual once the job started. Even though a drop cloth was used to protect the berber carpet going up the stairs, a couple of areas were stepped on with paint but Phillip was able to get the paint off without ruinning the carpet.

I selected the paint that I wanted to use and notified them of the color numbers. The were the ones that went to the store to pick up the paint, which was very convenient. They painted my walls and the base boards. I decided last minute to paint the ceiling, and they were totally cool with it. Any future work I am calling them, for sure! Mr. Phil is awesome!

Joe and his team were awesome! They showed up on time, walked me through the intial project and throughout the day as I had requested showed me progress and next steps to feel apart of the project! He taught me alot about painting and what to look for as a new, first time home buyer. He was the best price in town and his team is so attentive to every detail. I loved them so much, I enlisted his team for another project immediately and are continuing on together! I would recommend him day and night to everyone! Any time I am going to paint, he is my guy!

Excellent. Joe was very responsive and available. He provided an estimate right away as we were on a very tight timeline. He ran into some staffing issues that made it seem like he might not be able to get the work done, but he and his team rallied and worked very late into the night (4am) to get the painting done before our movers arrived in the morning. The paint work is excellent and we are very happy with the appearance of the final product. Veronica and Francisco did an excellent job with the very detailed work, the team was polite, quiet, clean, and very respectful of the remainder of the new house. I recommend their work to anyone in need of painting services.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it worked out well. It was awesome. I probably would not use them again because they were just not quite as perfectionists, as I would have preferred.

Joe returned my initial call very quickly, and was always responsive to our questions. He came out very quickly to give a quote on the interior painting of our home, and work started very shortly thereafter. The crew was prompt, courteous, and did an amazing job. Any issues were addressed immediately and the finished product was top-notch. The owner and a helper arrived on time and set right to work. One man cut in while the other rolled. The walls were already primed with flat white paint, so not much in the way of pre-paint work was needed to be done. I had purchased a Big Deal coupon for 650ft @ $391 and that covered the cost of the labor. Then we picked out the color we wanted and they bought they paint for us at contractor price. The total cost of the paint was $116 for a 5 gal bucket vs. $148 if we'd bought it ourselves at a home store. Two coats x (approx) 660 sq ft. = 5 hrs including setup and cleanup. I am very happy with the job. The lines are clean, I see no evidence of drips and the coverage is even and smooth. I would use Vice Versa again.

I absolutely love how beautifully the new exterior paint job on my house turned out. I will use Vice Versa painting exclusively for any painting projects in the future. I contacted the company and set up a day to get an estimate on three rooms I wanted painted one being a rather large great room. Phil showed right on time and we discussed the rooms to be painted, the color and type of paint (take his recommendation on the paint...he knows his stuff), price and the date I wanted the painting done. Everything we discussed came to past as discussed. Phil and his assistant Sammy showed up to the house at around 9:00 am and then went right at it. In between coats they took a break here and there and at one point Phil had to get another gallon on paint but other than those brief periods these guys put in straight work.....I mean they did not mess around! It was easy to see that both guys took great pride in and enjoyed what they do. Their attention to detail is most evident and their professionalism shines through. Bottom line is the rooms came out gorgeous....I could not be happier with the final product. Yeah there was a spot here or there I pointed out as we walked through and they were all over it in making sure it was corrected on the spot. They did in a day what would have taken me at least a week to do by myself if not more and I know it would not have looked half as good as it does now. Would I use these guys again...does the sun shine? You can bet for certain I would and I totally recommend anyone who wants a outstanding paint job a a good price you can not go wrong with these folks. Very prompt, worked diligently. Just the one person, though, so the 3 rooms were an all-day affair and he had to come back later to do the bathrooms, which also took the majority of the day (8-4). Initially commented that the inset in our tray ceiling wasn't included in the big deal -- not sure if this was a joke or not, but I protested and he took care of it when he came back for the bathrooms. The work is solid -- better and faster than I would do, certainly. Also, I appreciated that he asked my preference about over-painting the areas where existing lines weren't straight (i.e., do I want a straight line but see the old color, or do I want the old color covered, even if that is bleeding into the ceiling or trim). In the master bath, I had started the work but was not able to complete it time-wise and discovered that I'm simply not tall enough to reach in the shower and using a ladder around the tub. The requirement there was to do the remaining two walls, go over any poorly-painted areas on the two painted walls, and spot-paint areas where I had hit the ceiling when attempting to be taller :) There aren't a lot of spaces, but we found that the white paint I had was trim paint, not ceiling paint. He had me come in right away to check it over, but as it was a Sunday, the paint store wasn't open. He indicated that he would come back by within a few weeks and touch it up, since he had the appropriate paint at home. I am looking forward to that visit.

Phillip did an excellent job. Prompt, courteous, professional. After going through the contractor ringer several times, it was nice to get a fair price and an excellent job. If you need a painter in the greater Fayetteville area, Vice Versa painting should be your choice.

The quality of service that I was provided by Vice Versa was great. The quote was straight forward and extremely reasonable. I did not have the original paint scheme for my home and Philip pointed me in the right direction to obtain it. This process took me about a month, but when I contacted Philip, it was a short turn around to have the project completed. The work was completed on time and at the price quoted. We are very happy with the quality of the work.

I could not be happier with the quality of work, professionalism, work ethic, and price I received when Phil came to Paint my house. I just recently purchased a home and was in the process of painting and updating the place before I moved in. After a month of trying to do all the work myself I realized that I was going to need a professionals help with the painting if I ever wanted to move into the house this year. Phil was the guy that came to the rescue and I am glad that I found him on Angies list. It took Phil roughly three days to complete the job and he always arrived on time early in the morning and put in a full days worth of work. He very seldom (if at all) would take breaks and never left the property for lunch as he would just push through till the days work was complete. The house had extensive trim, and crown moldings throughout and Phil tackled this tedious work without hesitation. Most of the trim and walls required a 2nd if not 3rd coat in some cases, and Phil did not hesitate to go over it again if he was not satisfied with the final product. He is very particular about his work and takes great pride in his services that he is providing to a home owner. Some of the Painting took place while I was at work and Phil was left unaccompanied at the house letting himself inside in the morning. Never did I feel or have an Issue with leaving Phil by himself with my tools and belongings. I hope I never have to paint another thing in my life but If I should need to do something like this again in the future I would not hesitate in rendering Phil's services again! I

Painters arrived on time! And on the date that they were scheduled! Painters were extremely neat. Trim work was absolutely flawless. I had NO drops of paint to clean up on the tile flooring after they left. Quote and cost were exact. I am extremely pleased with all of the work completed. These painters take their work seriously and did a fantastic job. I will definitely use them in the future for all of my painting needs.
