Vice Versa Painting Service

We called Philip to come out and give us an estimate. He was very punctual and showed at the agreed time. It was immediately evident that Philip is a professional and knows his trade. He walked through our house and made recommendations for things we had not thought of. After receiving his estimate we decided to go with Philip. It's very seldom that you can say you are really pleased with a contractor. My wife and I can report Philip exceeded our expectation. Thanks Philip! We will be bringing him back for our exterior in the spring.

The provider painted two bathrooms (main hallway and master) in less then one day. Philip came to the house first thing in the morning and had a plan. The first thing he did is sanded the walls and mudded all uneven surfaces. He then chalked all four edges of the walls and down all corners. Finally, he primed and applied two coats of the paint that I selected. All work was completed and done to standard by 4pm. Philip even gave me a few pointers on what I should do in the event I wanted to do my 3rd bathroom which I properly will in a couple of days. PS: Just to let all know that I did have wallpaper which he recommended that I take off myself because it would cost double if I didn't but the good thing about this is that he recommend that I use hot water and laundry detergent to take off the wallpaper and that worked beautifully. This was a great experience with a contractor which most of us already know that you have to watch out for most contractors because they will try to take you for more then what the job is worth but not Philip, he was honest, fair and clear about what needed to be done.

Great job! I worked with Philip before on an interior job and liked his work so much that I brought him back for an exterior job. Price was competitive, his work outstanding. Lots of good ideas about other painting-oriented projects that I might take on. Given how hard it is to juggle a schedule when weather impacts an exterior job, I thought he handled the timing beautifully.

Mr. William and Dylan were very punctual when date was decided for work to be done. Mr. Williams was very conscientious about keeping me informed about when he could start the work and touching base about when he would arrive. They did a great job in painting our trim and were very personable to deal with. The price of the work was very reasonable. .Will definitely use them again for other painting in our home.

Philip was extremely helpful! I was overhauling the garage as a surprise and Philip did everything that he could to accommodate me! I had garage cabinets that were being delivered on that Tuesday, so Philip was able to schedule me in for that morning!! He told me that he would arrive between 8 and 9 and he arrived around 8:30. He kept in good contact with me throughout the days before confirming color choice and appointment times. He was extremely proficient and quick at his job! Had it not been so humid, he would have been out and done in just a few hours but the drying time at least tripled because of the humidity. He used high grade quality exterior paint (yes, exterior since the walls are somewhat exposed to the outdoor conditions - especially humidity) that we are able to wipe clean should we ever need to (and let's face it, we will - it's a garage... it's going to get scuffed and dirty). I was trying to get a lot of things done in and around the house at the same time they were painting. Since the paint/spackle were taking such a long time to dry, he offered his services to help me with the various tasks I was trying to get done (move a box-spring and mattress upstairs -- he even offered to help me with the garage cabinets once they were delivered)! It was a very sweet offer he was making with no expectations of being made for the additional labor. After some time of conversing with him over the ideas we have with the house, he offered his professional opinion and advice on a few things that we definitely appreciate! He was very clean, left no markings of him being here other than the absolutely beautiful garage! Lots of compliments have been paid to us on our garage already. He was extremely fair with his pricing! Undoubtedly, we will use again!

I was able to get an estimate and set up an appointment prior to moving into our new home from out of state, which was a huge plus. Philip arrived at the appointed date/time ready to rock and knocked out both rooms. We're ready to schedule him for more rooms once we figure out paint colors. Recommend.

Couldn't be happier. Philip did an excellent job and the place looks great! Philip was punctual, courteous and professional. I couldn't be happier with the job. After he finished, he assured me that if there were some areas that needed touch up, he's be available to do so. I had movers come in shortly afterwards and there were a few spots that needed touch up, and sure enough, he came back to touch up the areas. Again, I couldn't recommend Philip and Vice Versa Painting Service enough.

The painting was good and they made sure the paint did not fall on the rug of the staircase. He went above and beyond my expectations. He painted the wood around each door and on baseboards which was not part of the agreement. They stepped on some paint that fell on the canvas but he was able to take it off.

Great Service! Provided a free quote and gave excellent paint color/brand suggestions. He was honest, punctual and finished in one day! He worked around our schedule and gave great suggestions about other projects and how to do them ourselves without giving us a sales pitch, how refreshing. I agree with a previous review stating he has a wealth of helpful knowledge. The actual paint job is better than what we expected and if you are on the fence about hiring him, don't think twice, you certainly will not regret it. Thank you Phillip for refreshing our home!

On time airline, showed up when he said he would. all work done as quoted and promised. Seems to know his craft, would use him again.

It turned out wonderful. They were very professional and they came on the day scheduled. They gave a great price as I wanted three different colors. He put two coats on and they did this over a two day period. I called as some paint got on the floor and he and his father came to clean that up as well as some drips that had occurred. They did a beautiful job with the work. They left the leftover paint as I had paid for that as well.

Philip does an excellent job! I was somewhat nervous given the scope of the job and the timeliness with which I needed the work done. Even though he had to juggle his schedule a bit due to rain slowing up other exterior jobs, he hustled and got this job done -- and done well. I couldn't ask for better. Especially helpful were his suggestions on other ways I might spruce up other parts of the house. He has a wealth of helpful knowledge. The only regret I have is that I didn't get any "before" and "after" pictures for him to use as examples of his work on his own website.

They gave me a very reasonable price. I had no problems trying to send him down he came when he said he was going to come and he seem to be very knowledgeable to tell me to take my time and some would need extra cost, so I am really excited about getting somebody in who is going to paint and do a professional job. I have been trying to get a color because I am not good at colors. He told me to take my time and make sure I get the colors that I want and that is the reason why we are going to start next week because I keep changing my color. He told me what exactly he would be doing.

Philip came over quickly to give me an estimate, and e-mailed it to me exactly when promised. The price was fair, and even though I was still waiting for the other painters I called to come give me an estimate, I hired Philip. He came out to paint the following week. Coincidentally, the other painters finally called me back after the painting had already begun! The painting looked great, and the guys worked diligently. They were friendly, did a great job, and were very understanding while I was having carpet installed at the same time! I was having trouble finding a contractor to pressure wash my house, and Philip helped me out and came over and did a great job. So nice to find someone who wants work!!! Don't hesitate to hire Vice Versa!

They did a great job. The colors were as requested. It took them 2 days. They knew that we were on a tight timeline so they stayed late so that they could finish a day early. While they waited for me to return, they painted the baseboard in the stairwell free of charge.

Not as detailed as hoped, had to have them come back 2 times to complete correctly.

Phil was courteous, on time and fair in his estimate. His work was well done, and finished earlier than estimated. He and Samuel worked quickly and quietly. We will definitely use them again and share our experience with our friends and neighbors. I was concerned using a company from Fayetteville since we live in Southern Pines - Pinehurst area but they have given us exceptional service.

Philip was quick getting back to me (Tuesday) and came to my house the same day. He gave me a great price and was able to get the job done on Thursday. Thank you!

As always, Philip was on time and did an outstanding job. My living room looks beautiful. I have used Vice Versa Painting several times (both exterior and interior painting) and will continue to use them in the future as we remodel our home. Could not ask for a better company and people to work with!

They did not answer the phone for several weeks. When we were finally able to make an appt, they didn't show up.

We set up an appointment to request estimate of work, in which they were punctual and gave us a fair price. We aggreed and work started the next day, the crew worked for four days to include a Sunday, they met all our espectations and needs, the crew was professional and very dedicated. The work was complete and we were totally satisfied with the end product.
