Vice Versa Painting Service

Philip was very professional and timely in responding to my request for pricing on our desired paint work. He was 1 of four bidders I solicited, all found on Angie's list. He provided good detail on the work he was proposing. We had a good discussion on paint selections and his recommendations. He provided a detailed written proposal with several options as requested. After meeting with each of the 4 bidders, He ended up in my top two bidders based on how I felt about their proposals. He lost out because his price was somewhat higher than the bidder I selected, but significantly lower than the other two bidders. So I would certainly recommend you consider this painter for work you might be considering.

Phil Williams was great. His pricing was far more attractive than some of his highly rated competitors and the results were worth it. This is a rental home for us and we would later learn about some minor paint stains in the carpet (small drips) about a month after the work was finished. I contacted Phil and he promptly headed over to take care of it without question. Very professional operation and I enjoyed working with Phil. ABSOLUTELY would use these guys in the future.

Phillip, the owner, came to our home and talked to me about what we wanted to do, what he recommended and he immediately gave me a written estimate He was able to start in a few days and had me email him the colors from Sherwin Williams. He didn't include paint in the estimate and told me that he would bring me receipts of the paint he bought and would charge me which I thought was great transparency. The work started on a Wednesday and Phillip came and met his group of four painters at my home. The painters were clean, friendly and were extremely hard workers. They were able to finish the entire job in one day. The paint came out great, they didn't even have to touch anything up since it was so well done. I would highly recommend Phillip and his crew, I already have plans for some other rooms in my house and won't hesitate to hire them again.

The crew did a great job. The work was scheduled to last 3 days. During day 2, Philip called and asked if his crew could work late and complete the job early. It was a new home and my family had not moved in yet, so I agreed. The following day I met with him and his crew chief and went over the results which were superb. A couple of small spots needed attention and he took care of it immediately. The custom trim work was done to perfection and everything was done as promised. I want to mention when Philip quoted me the job I told him I would be using about 4 or 5 different colors thorough-out the home. I ended up choosing NINE colors for the walls and trim and also had him paint the interior of the closets a different color. I expected him to adjust his quote and told him I would understand if he had to charge me more. He did not - he did everything for the original price and without any issue. He also left me extra paint for every room in every color should I need to do touch-ups in the future. I am very pleased with the company and their work. I plan to use them again to paint my other home in Sarasota.

This was actually the lowest estimate we received, however it did not include materials (paint, etc.), which made it a little more difficult to compare to other estimates. The Representative did provide an approximate amount for paint. He arrived on the scheduled date and on time.

I was hosting an event and as I prepared my home realized I really wanted some painting done prior to the event. Ceilings in my living, dining and kitchen needed attention and I was less than two weeks away from the deadline. I wasn't certain I could get a professional to take care of the needs before the deadline. However, Philip responded immediately and gave me a fair price I could afford. He and his team member Leo came in and completed the project in one day. He offered me options. His choice of paint if he purchased it, my choice of brands if I wanted to purchase it myself. I went with his recommendation of Sherwin Williams as I personally prefer that product. He left me the left over paint, which I appreciated. In addition, I asked if he thought there was anyway he could do additional work on exterior painting before the following weekend. He sent a member of his team, Santiago, over the following week and all exterior painting (doors, columns, trim) were beautifully done and were the finishing touches for the house. I very much appreciated Philip making all this happen for me with such a tight timeline. I will happily use his services with my next painting project.

Searched for painter via Angies List. Saw vice versa painting with great reviews. Called for an estimate and received a speedy response back to schedule a walk through. He arrived and provided estimate. He was professionally and demonstrated friendly southern charm! Came back a week later to provide the service; gave me the extra 1/2 gallon left over. Work was OUTSTANDING, and he cleaned up after. I paid exactly what we agreed upon. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Phillip and his team did the job in 3 days. My only disappointment is that I had to call them back a few times because they forgot to paint a couple of spots and left the light fixtures exposed. They responded right away and took care of the misses. Overall they did a good job.

Vice Versa is a great company to deal with. Phillip was professional, but still relaxed enough that dealing with him was really comfortable. We had every part of our home with the exception if the inside of our closets painted. The estimate was almost EXACTLY on target as far as the amount of paint that would be needed, so there were no surprises on any costs. We had Phillip's crew in here for three days. I generally find it very uncomfortable being stuck in my own home with complete strangers working, and thought three days was going to be awful. His crew was very relaxed and conscientious and I didn't feel that way at all, and in the periodic times when Phillip couldn't be here himself he checked in with me and his staff frequently. The paint itself looks amazing, and there is no way we could have done it ourselves and have it look this great! They walked around with me to check up on any spots that may have needed a touch up, and they were very few. We will definitely use this company again for our exterior, and refer anyone we know looking to have work done to them.

I called on Thursday morning to get an estimate and Phil came on his lunch hour that same day. They started painting the next day and finished in 3 days. All of the workers were very polite and also very hard workers. They were careful and covered everything. The walls all got 2 coats. At the end of the 3rd day, it looked like a new house.

Phillip and his team really did a good job in painting some of the sections in our house. Further the townhouse that was painted was also done in a great professional manner. These guys paint without you even knowing that they are in you house was a great pleasure dealing with this company

Philip and his crew painted the entire interior of my house. They did a wonderful job!!! They were always right on time, and very professional. His quote was much better than the others. He was very patient with me, as I changed my paint colors a few times, and added a few extra thing to the list. Will defiantly use again when I paint the exterior.

We were very happy with the painting that Phillip and his crew did in our home. He was very professional and was punctual in regards to appointments and starting times in the morning. The estimate was very reasonable and conveyed to us quickly. My mother lives with us and has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. Phillip and his crew were very caring and willing to work around my mother's nuances and schedule. We will be using Phillip to paint our exterior and the remaining rooms.

I called this company for an estimate. Although it was very close to Christmas, they came over quickly and gave me what I felt was a fair quote. They were on time to complete the job and finished two coats. The charge was as quoted. I am very happy with the results and have had many compliments on the job.3

After reading reviews of this painting contractor on Angie's List, we asked him to meet us at our new home build that was not yet finished. Philip was on time for our meeting and we were impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. Even though it is our practice to always get more than one bid for a job, we hired Vice Versa Painting Service on the spot. Depending on the size of the crew, Philip estimated that job would take 2 to 3 days to complete. Philip and his crew were at our home promptly at the appointed time of 8 AM and got right to work. The painting was finished in one day! We are picky about paint jobs...and we are thrilled with the quality of work done by Philip Williams and his crew. Furthermore, we have no clean up. They left the home in the same condition as they found it, only better because the walls are beautiful. We would not hesitate to hire Vice Versa Painting Service again and highly recommend them to others.

We called Phillip and left a mesage stating our original request. Phillip was very punctual on returning our call, providing an estimate of $400 and setting up an appointment date and time. Phillip's crew arrived when we expected them to and were ready to go to work. As we walked through the areas we wanted painted, we realized the touch up painting would not be feasible. Since we were changing the scope to include completely repainting the ceilings, we asked if they could also add a 3rd bedroom and the lanai to the new estimate. They gave us a new estimate of $550. We felt this was a very good price for the work requested, especially since we revised the job requirements after Phillip's crew arrived! They set to work and did a fantastic job. They were very professional and the quality and cleanup were excellent. Because of the change in scope and addition of the 2 additional ceilings the job could not be completed on the day of our appointment. Phillip's crew finished the inside of the house for us. We talked with Phillip and he worked with us to set up a new date and time for the painting of the lanai. Again, Phillip arrived promptly and finished the job for us. We cannot stress enough our satisfaction with the whole procedure - from our 1st call, to the flexibility in changing the scope, to Phillip making a second trip. They did an overall fantastic job. It was an extremely professional and pleasing experience. We would absoluting recommend Vice Versa and use them again ourselves.

Services were punctul and professional. He picked up the paint for us and was patient while I figured out what colors I wanted! Helped me clear furniture out of room as husband was out of town. Also, removed hardware and puttied the holed where I no longer wanted pictures. Conscientious and pleasant to have in home. Great experience overall!

They arrived right on time and finished mid-morning. The house had a lot of mold and mildew on the siding, and they got it all off. The house was pressure washed prior to painting the trim. I will definitely use them again.

They arrived at 7:30 am and got right to work. They purchased the paint for me, and my house looks so much fresher!

Mr. Williams arrived at the designated time to give me my estimate. He set up a day to do the work and arrived on the day promised. He primed and painted the wood exterior to my new chimney. He charged me $200 for labor and $56 for the paint (which he provided). The paint color was a close match to the exterior paint of my home. I love the look of the new chimney.

Philip is the owner of this company. He came out to do the work with the help of a very nice team. He is honest, reliable, pleasant and does a very good job. He called back quickly, and came each time when he promised. He is very conscientious and asked to be told if he forgot to do anything or didn't do it to our satisfaction. He was careful and thorough and worked quickly. The only area that he didn't hit exactly right was on his estimates of how much paint he'd be using. I had to return to the paint store twice after the initial purchase. This isn't a major flaw, but it made the total expense higher than we originally thought.

He was excellent, he showed up on time, there were no issues. I was pleased with the service.
