replacement windows, doors
+ 0 moreBrought broken window into the shop. It was measured and returned with plastic wrap to protect homeowners from exposed glass. The owner was told that the replacement would cost $190.00, but the owner needed the window quickly because of spring storms so did not debate issue. The first call to bring the window in for insertion of the new window failed as the glass arrived a different size. Glass was reordered, homeowner took window back to home. Three weeks after the initial meeting the replacement glass arrived, Once again the window was brought in for the new glass. Window was repaired in less than a day. After inserting the window into frame at home, owner realized there was a sticky residue on the inside of the glass left over from the plastic placed there after the initial visit. It took homeowner an hour with solvent to remove it. Very nice, friendly employees, but not efficient, or clean workers.
Description of Work: Order a double pane replacement for the bottom section of a double hung window. Then insert it into the frame.
