Lionmark

Steve Dey (Owner) is an up and coming subcontractor specializing in tile and floor products installation. We were building a new house and hired him to do all of our bathroom tile work: floor, walls. He did ok with a few amateur mistakes here and there. The big problem we had with Lionmark was the discoloration in the bathroom floor grout. One bathroom floor grout has three different shades/colors of grout varying from white to tan. This looks horrible in a new house. We tried contacting Steve several times to come out and look at this but he will not answer his phone or emails. We always had his work approved for payment by our General Contractor on time and now that he's paid off he doesn't want to invest his time in fixing his work. So now we are stuck with trying to fix it. We had a couple of contractors come in and give us prices to fix it, one even suggested we retile the entire floor over top of the existing floor because otherwise he would have to tear up all of the flooring. We finally found a method to fix it but it's very laborious work. We will get it done but we won't soon forget what a predicament he left us with. We do not recommend Steve Dey or Lionmark to do any tile work under any circumstances.
