We are always very satisfied with their work. They are very neat, and clean up after themselves. They are very professional, everything that you could want in a service provider.

They looked wonderful and match the section of the floor that we didn't redo. I wish we had done all of the floor but we couldn't at this time.

Ceramic tile installations were very well done. Bathroom shower and other work were good. Overall they were courteous, subcontractor work was monitored and generally cleaned up after each day. During our job they had a death in the family which impacted some of our work schedule. Due to their work volume, they were not always as punctual as they had planned to be. Some of our work was delayed due to other work priorities. Although there were minor finishing touches that we had to remind them about, overall we were pleased with the quality and workmanship.

3 days in and out to complete the work, cleaned up every day and cleaned up after the job. Could not even tell they were there. Looks fantastic

From beginning to end, Coastal did a super job on our home. They were prompt in response to our initial call and scheduled an appointment to see the site within a few days. We had a strong idea of what we wanted to do for the remodeling of the bathroom. Pavel politely listened to our ideas and then followed up with several brilliant ideas of his own that vastly improved the design. In a day or two, a detailed estimate was sent to us. It was not the lowest or the highest estimate for the job, but we thought Coastal was the best outfit for the job. They proved us right. The team arrived on the day promised, worked full days until the job was completed, and delivered a quality product. Coastal gets my highest recommendation.

Great experience with this company. They provided a written estimate via email and quickly scheduled the work for me. The crews arrived on time each day and worked quickly to take care of the contracted items. When the cabinet issue was determined to be the cause for my separating molding in the kitchen they offered to fix that for me as well. Final check of the work and my satisfaction was completed prior to my paying for the services. I have been very happy with the services that they provided, the quality of the workmanship, professionalism of the staff and I would use them again.

Excellent work. Very neat. Friendly, helpful, great suggestions. It was a small job but the new tile made a huge difference in the appearance of the kitchen.

The work went quickly; mess was kept to a minimum and cleaned up after each day. Timeline was accurate; as well as quoted price. When an issue came up about the tile quantities, Pavel quickly came up with a solution that we believe is better than the original plan and we are very pleased. Guests love the new look of the bathroom, and one family member was so impressed she hired him for work at her home! When funding becomes available for the other master bath, PAVOtile is the first number we will call.

I noticed on the end of April they got a very bad review, which was what I was kind of concerned about. I've not hired them yet, but I've been close to hiring them until I saw that one review. I had him over to my house recently just to ask him some questions about a few things, so as far as I'm concerned he should be working on updating the quote. I've not had any problems with him, but whoever left this bad quote seemed to have major problems with him which is why I'm getting a little leery. Everything was looking good and I was leaning towards hiring him, but it's the one bad quote.

The good: Price (originally).. The bad: 1. Was never on time.but always managed to leave early (worked some 4 to 5 hours a day max) 3. Left a considerable mess behind (I'm still cleaning up what was left behind). 4. Left the job unfinished (I'll do it myself, or hire someone else to actually finish what I had paid for).. Some specifics: Some tiles were not installed at all, but were simply left sitting in position. Tile was never cleaned after grout work (the mess was left for me to clean) Grout work was done so poorly that I must now pay to have it removed an redone.

Pavotile is excellent. He helped us with the design layout of the tiles even meeting us at Home Depot, and the total job turned out fantastic. We will be calling on him for future tiling jobs.

We told him what we wanted and he offered suggestions. What we like he gave us estimates and options. Easy to work with and honest.

In short, he was so inexpensive and went out of the way to find tiles that matched mine. End product was terrific. Only drawback is his English language skills are a little rough. But I would hire him again and will do so if I end up retiling my bathroom.

The tile Pavel installed looks beautiful. I received an estimate via email the same day I submitted a 'quick estimate request' from their website. He was very professional and gave me another alternative to having the tile layed diagonally, which I initially chose. He is very detail oriented in his work, which I appreciate. He installed porcelain tile and replaced and painted the baseboards in my laundry room. He was also very punctual and the estimate was in line with what I paid. (There was an unforeseen issue with the floor, which I had to pay more for - which I would definitely expect). I would definitely use him again.

He arrived on time, was particularly polite and quiet. He finished all four areas in two days, and left me with instructions and additional cleaning materials. The tile looks amazing! Don't know why I didn't do this long ago. And that was 12 years of wear and tear on that tile. He did an amazing job.

Pavel did an outstanding job. He responded very quickly to our initial Email - Showed up on time and provided a written estimate within the first 4 days of being contacted. He was not the cheapest estimate but provided us with his opinion on the method to install the tile on the Stair Risers the made us comfortable the he knew what he was doing. Not many of the tile installers had done stair risers before and some didn't even include it in their quotes. After we reviewed all of our options my wife and I choose Pavel to do the work. He let us know that he could start 2 weeks later. When the work began he was extremely accommodating and worked with my wife on all the options for the inserts we had purchased. He would actually make the cuts in the 3-4 different ways, put them on the wall, they would discuss and decide, then he would just pop off the ones that needed to go. He was this accommodating on all the work he did. He cleaned up after each evening and we could not be happier with the results. My wife has wanted our stair risers tiled for the past 8 years and she couldn't be more ecstatic over the results. If you are looking for a tile installation expert, look no further, Pavel is your guy. I wish I could provide you guys with pictures of his work on the stair risers, they are absolutely beautiful....

Pavel did a fantastic job! He really wanted to please us and took our advice on what we wanted our floor to look like. Pavel and crew where punctual and stayed late to finish the job on time. Pavel was very detail oriented and was extremely easy to work with. The finished floor looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Pavotile for kitchen floor replacement and general handyman work. The entire experience with Pavel could not have been better. His work is impeccable, but it was more than that. Pavel is a genuinely honest and nice person who cares about making his customers happy. Although Pavel acted as general contractor on my project, he personally did all of the work with the help of an assistant. Pavel's core business is tile and he is a definitely master with it, but he is also a great carpenter, plumber, and pretty much anything else he sets his mind to do. I began taking notice of other tile work after Pavel installed the tile floor and glass tile wall and backsplash. The tilework in my kitchen is so much better than any other I have seen. There are no uneven tiles like I saw in EVERY other tile installation. Pavel's work is flawless. I originally hired Pavel to do the tile work in my kitchen. I had planned to use Ikea's certified installers, but then I read numerous negative reviews of the company and got a good preview of the delays I would have experienced when I was dealing with their salesperson. I was very impressed with Pavel when he came to give his original estimate for the tile work. So when he suggested that he could do the full project, I felt confident that he would do a much better job for me than the supposed Ikea cabinet experts. I was right. Pavel made the whole process easy for me. If I could not be home while he was working it was never a problem. When I came home everything was neat and swept and the work progress was always impressive. On Fridays Pavel's charming wife would come by to do extra tidying up so that the house and work area was "nice and clean for the weekend." Pavel is a perfectionist. "Good enough" is not good enough for him. The work I saw in the Ikea showroom can't hold a candle to the workmanship that Pavel put into my kitchen. Every grout line on his tile work is as straight as an arrow and every cabinet door is adjusted perfectly even. Pavel had some challenges in my older house with uneven floors and walls. There were also challenges with the Ikea products. Pavel always had an elegant solution and a reassurance to me, "Don't worry. I'll make it work." No challenge was too much for him. When he first installed the duct work for the range hood he called me in to tell me that he felt it was too loud. I really didn't think it was that bad, but it wasn't good enough for Pavel. He thought on it for a bit and then came up with a solution that made the fan whisper quiet. When the built in microwave did not have a trim piece on the bottom to hide the interior shelf, he somehow managed to strip off the veneer from a scrap trim piece and apply it to the shelf so that it matched the outer cabinet. He did the same thing with a brace over the dishwasher. These are just examples of the many, many things Pavel did to ensure that the final outcome was perfect. Pavel has great advice and ideas. He made suggestions about things that would not have occurred to me, such as having outlet strips installed on the under sides of the cabinets and putting the island on wheels. Some of the suggestions he made were for work that other tradesmen would need to do. His ideas were not about making more money from the project. He genuinely wanted my kitchen to be as fabulous as it could possibly be and advice was given more the way a good friend with great taste would give advice. Pavel very wisely suggested that I have the 70s sponge texture removed from the ceiling and have recessed lighting installed. I hired a painter and electricians to do that work, and boy what a difference it made! He also suggested that I allow him to properly duct the range hood through the attic, which I had not originally planned to do but I am so glad that I did. Pavel knew the little things that would make a huge impact. When he was working on my project he genuinely cared about the final outcome and my enjoyment of my new kitchen as if it was his own kitchen. Pavel gives his customers a level of personal service and caring that was amazing and really sets him apart from his peers in the industry. My kitchen is truly beautiful and it would not be half as nice if I had not hired Pavel to do the work. I have plans for a number of projects around my house and would not dream of hiring anybody except Pavel.

As expected, work took a few days and Pavel was even kind enough to fix a few other minor things for me. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work done and the amount of money spent. Some previous estimates that I had received were significantly more and the individuals did not appear to really know what they were doing from some of the statements they made about how they were going to do the work.

Pavel help me pick out tile that matched the room and met my budget. He showed up on time as scheduled and completed the work on schedule. Everything turned out better than I expected. I found Pavel easy to work with and have recommended him to my friends.

The project was more than a simple tile project. The laundry room floor was uneven after a botched repair of termite damage. A previous contractor had used two different types of 2x10's (treated and untreated), resulting in the uneven sub-floor. Pavel had to remove all sub-flooring in this area, correct the joist issue, properly reinforce the joists, install proper sub-flooring, making sure the floor was firm, level, and strong enough to support the tile. Once this was completed, he was able to lay the tile per the design we picked. In addition to the tile, Pavel recommended a drain be installed, which was made part of the work. it was beautifully done. In addition to the floor work, Pavel properly reinstalled our exterior door, again which was installed improperly by the same contractor that botched the termite repair job. The door was properly secured to the framing, for the first time in years opening and closing correctly. As stated above, he sealed gaps that had been open for years. He also re-attached our dryer vent line that had separated under the house (unknown to us). Although this was a small act, it hi-lighted his attention to detail as well as willingness to go above and beyond the scope of the work so the final product was done completely and properly. I knew after just a few minutes with meeting with Pavel I wanted him to do the job. What set Pavel apart from others who originally gave estimates was that Pavel noticed the details of issues that had to be dealt with and knew immediately steps that would have to be taken to resolve the underlying issues (the uneven floor). Others who had given estimates glossed over that issue, leading me to believe they would likely do a patchwork job. Pavel's price was competitive but more importantly, I correctly perceived he knew how to do the job properly. In the course of the work, there were times when he could have taken some short cuts to "make it work" but he didn't do that, instead doing what was necessary to make sure it was done the right way. In addition, he suggested a pattern we had not thought of. In the end we went with his recommendation and are very pleased we did. Pavel also did what he said he was going to do-a huge factor in my satisfaction. He told me each time when he would call or be on site. If he was going to be a little late, he called ahead of time to inform me. he stayed late two nights making sure he completed what he set out to do for the day. he cleaned up the work zone each day, not leaving until all was in place. This is the first time I have used Angies List, signing up after having poor luck in picking contractors on my own using typical methods of yellow pages, advertisements, or referrals. I am sold on Angies List. I trust my report will be helpful to others, as I relied on the reports to pick contractors to call. PAVOtile was the only ceramic tile contractor from Angies list I called with others coming from those subcontracted with the big box home improvement stores. As I said above, after my initial meeting with Pavel, there was no need to secure additional estimates as he had set himself apart from others I had already spoken with. There is no doubt I will be doing more business with Pavel in the near future. GREAT JOB!

Pavotile was professional, resonably-priced and did high-quality work on the whole job without using subs. This included demo, rebuild shower walls and base, all plumbing, tile installation, caulk and sealing. We are extremely pleased with the job Pavel did and have recommended him to our friends and neighbors. After we called, Pavel came out the next day to provide an estimate. He used an iPad to take all the notes and I had a professional estimate the same night. All communications were by email which I preferred. His estimate was very reasonable among the three estimates I got. We recently purchased a house that was about 10 years old. I could tell there were problems with the master shower leaking. Pavel was able to start the work a few days later. During the demolition he showed us all the mistakes that were made when the house was originally constructed. The 2x4?s were black with mold because the liner was cut too short, the drain was placed higher than the tile and the plumbing was slowly leaking in the wall. Pavel removed all of the moldy material and rebuilt the walls with clean 2x4?s. He removed and rebuilt all of the copper plumbing himself without using a subcontractor. We wanted to save some money by keeping the existing 2-sided glass enclosure. A new one would be $1,200. One contractor told me it was not possible. Another told me it was a lot of work. (i.e. extra money) Pavel said no problem. He disassembled the enclosure. All the rubber seals around the glass came out. The walls and curb had to be rebuilt exactly the same to fit the enclosure. When the tile was finished, he reinstalled the glass and everything fit perfectly. That saved us a lot of money. The tile we chose was 4 different sizes of marble with a honed finish. We settled on a design with some rows in subway tile, bullnose etc. None of extra cutting affected the price of the labor. Our shower was finished in 1 week. It is solid as a rock now. The fit of all the marble cuts is tight and uniform. We couldn?t be happier and highly recommend Paval.
