They called to let us know they would be a bit late which was appreciated as so many others we have hired have not been on time and not notified us. Iwona and her husband are very pleasant and follow up often. Unfortunately I have some health issues and the work has not been done yet. They have been very understanding and I will be happy to write a review when we complete the project.

Iwona made an appointment and came to the house punctually. She was hired to provide me with 3D rendering of a kitchen renovation. She listened to what I wanted and took extensive measurements. Her company provides cabinetry (and contractor's names for full kitchen renovations if I lived closer to her home office). Within 10 days, she emailed me 3-3D variations of what my new kitchen would look like and will make any changes to the designs, if needed. She is professional, prompt, and personable. Because we are still working on the plans, I do not have a price for what we might eventually come up with. The cabinets they sell are of very good quality and make. The plans she drew up are very helpful and so was Iwona.

They did a good job and I've already recommended them.

We are extremely pleased with our choice of COASTAL HOME RENOVATIONS! We were not present for some of work, however, found them to be Trustworthy, Tidy, and Proficient. Pavel is very Hard Working and kind. Iwona stays right on top of things! She sent us pictures of progress when we weren't there...SO HELPFUL and REASSURING. I would absolutely hire them again, as well as recommend them to friends.

All work and communication was outstanding. From first interaction with company to last visit with them was great.

They started job on schedule and arrived as promised. Kept us updated and informed of each step in the process. Only slight delays due to cabinet manufacturer not sending all materials at the same time. Iwona stopped in to check progress and workmanship on a weekly basis or called to see if we were satisfied with the work. We originally were going to reinstall our old dishwasher however Iwona was not comfortable doing this since all other appliances were new so she purchased a new dishwasher to match the other appliances and did not charge us for it. We were extremely pleased with this gesture. We were not satisfied with ceiling paint job so they came back and repainted the entire ceiling. We are extremely happy with the quality of the materials, workmanship, customer service, and overall job they did. We will definitely use Coastal Home Renovations again for other major remodeling jobs. We also highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do bathroom, or kitchen remodeling.

They were very detail oriented, and kept in constant touch with me regarding the process. Their professionalism is the highest that we have ever seen. We are going to have them remodel our kitchen as well this summer. I know when they are done, our house will be like a brand new home.

First of all, Iwona & Pavel are extremely professional owners of this small business. Iwona is always prompt in answering questions, concerns and sending status pictures of the project via email and/or texts. They provided fair estimate for the work and was flexible when we needed to separate the quote for labor only vs. cost with material included. We needed them to do the renovation under a week since we had renters coming a week later. They not only made it on time but were done early. Their team was very flexible to pick up the materials from the local home improvement stores I had ordered online. Pavel and his team always do a great job and their finished work is always first rate. Iwona also deserves a lot of credit for always answering to any questions/concerns promptly and sending us pictures of the status of the project in a routine basis. We would use Coastal Renovations again and they are on speed dial any future projects!

First, we want to say that the ENTIRE renovation was done while we were out of town! Iwona and Pavel are so professional and trustworthy! After COMPLETE demo of every cabinet, flooring, bath fixtures, lighting, window treatments, etc...they got to work right away. They tiled ALL the floors - this required leveling compound and choosing grout colors. They painted every wall, ceiling, and all doors and trim. Iwona found us the exact kitchen cabinets we wanted. The kitchen was a huge project in itself. They had to take out everything, including the ugly fluorescent light. Pavel designed a new canned light layout for us. They installed quartz countertops, kitchen sink, under cabinet lighting, and disposal, etc. The kitchen is amazing! Iwona took time to meet Lowe's when they delivered the appliances. She sent pictures while they were installing. Pavel redesigned a very tiny shower for us - we feel it is now the nicest shower in the place! He tiled this and another shower and replaced 2 acrylic tubs (one is a 6 ft. soaker tub!). They are beautiful! New toilets, vanities, countertops, lighting fixtures and framed mirrors complete the look in all 3 bathrooms! Replaced all the doorknobs, and electrical plates, so they would all match. Installed towel racks, hooks, and shelves in bathrooms. They truly did everything and anything you can think of! Our building manager made a point to tell us that Coastal Home Renovations was one of the best contractors he had ever had working in the building - they followed the rules, kept everything clean, and he never had a complaint. This is a great comfort since we were out of town and had no idea what was going on day to day! Most impressive was they did this complete remodel in under 4 months - completed everything on the our original wishlist, including the changes.

Pawel and Iwona were great to work with- friendly, responsive, responsible, and professional. The did what they said they were going to do when they said it would be done. They kept things as clean as possible throughout the duration of work, which took about 10 weeks (off and on..there were some downtimes as we were waiting for backordered cabinets, countertops, etc.) Of course there were a few hiccups along the way (as to be expected), and I was pleased with how each situation was handled. We were delayed a couple times due to county inspector timelines and countertop availability, but Iwona was transparent about the process and timeline updates throughout the process. To be honest, the only aspects of the new kitchen that I'm not 100% happy with are a couple things completely outside of their control and in no way are reflective of their work. (I'm not thrilled about a couple of my appliances, and in hindsight I would have done more recessed lighting throughout the kitchen instead of planning to rely on a fixed track light. That would be my biggest tip to anyone considering a major renovation anywhere- don't underestimate lighting, especially when there is a new layout to consider!) This was my first kitchen reno and overall it's a stressful process, but working with Coastal Home Renovations was a pleasure. I was so pleased that I'm hoping to use them for my master bath renovation this year!

Great! On time, very transparent. We worked with them from a distance as it was our beach/2nd home and had no issues. Pricing was as estimated.

, I am a single older woman. Paval and Iwana treated me with respect and caring. That has not been the case with other workers. I trusted them to continue work while I was out of town. They respected my opinion and did the work as I wanted. The quality of the work is excellent. Tile was installed with great care as well as everything. The cost was as estimated plus changes I made as the work went along. I picked out exactly what I wanted and they picked up the materials and took away construction trash as the job progressed. They did their best to keep the dirt and mess to a minimum. Daily they cleaned up as good as possible. They worked continuously until the job was completed. I will be renovating the kitchen next and they will be doing it too. I would recommend this company to everyone.

We were very fortunate to have Coastal Home Renovations involved with our projects in the condo. Pavel and Iwona, the owners of Coastal Home Renovations, were helpful with a positive attitude from the first encounter. They were professional and detail oriented during the renovation. Iwona was always available for questions and quick to respond to any of our concerns. Pavel's craftsmanship was impressive and his ability to be flexible when we had a change of direction was refreshing. We could tell that they had very high standards and pride in the quality of product they produced. We entrusted our condo to them while the demolition and remodel took place. We feel that they treated our condo in the same way they would treat their own home. Our new bathroom has a beautiful custom tile shower, new vanities, toilet, tile floor, and new fixtures. Pavel is a craftsman. The new porcelain tile floor throughout the condo and the balcony is so attractive that it is a pleasure to open the front door. Pavel was able to expand the kitchen with new cabinets, countertop, and backsplash so one would never suspect that the expansion was at a different time. It appears seamless. The removal of a wall was expertly done to allow us additional space for the condo. Any future projects for us would definitely be directed to Coastal Home Renovations.

We decided to use Coastal Home Renovations as it was a median cost solution with great reviews about the quality of their work and beautiful design ideas. Their prices were actually reasonable for the high quality or their workmanship. They worked directly with us and offered excellent design ideas and options and explained everything in great detail that we could understand. There were so many directions we could have gone but ultimately came out with an amazing kitchen of our dreams. The cabinet installation was impressive to watch as it went in so smoothly and any issues with the delivery of all the pieces was corrected as quickly as possible. On our master shower they were able to restructure the bathroom and install an extra large, all tile shower with a one-of-a-kind mosaic design on the walls using tiles we picked out. It looks amazing and it is a jewel of our home that we really love to show-off to friends who visit. Coastal Home was able to adjust their timelines to complete the projects quickly with very little, if any, delays in installation. Their communication was prompt and very professional. There was an ease in all the processes as they explained each step and our questions were answered in layman's terms. Our home has a kitchen, dining and living room that runs from the front to back of our home. The kitchen was from 1985 and was a total mess as were the floors for the entire room. Pavel and crew laid a floor that is magnificently beautiful, easy to keep clean and draws oohs and ahs from all who enter. Additionally, they removed all of the old appliances, tore out the old cupboards and always left a clean work area. Their electrician recommended a change for the electrical box and wiring that resulted in added space and left the way open for us to also install a new bathroom in a more convenient area of our home. We asked Pavel and Iwona to recommend design from the floor to the backsplash to the counter top and we went with all their suggestions which was exactly the right thing to do because it turned out so very perfectly beautiful. Also, they heard my requests for such conveniences that were affordable and things I had always wanted and they gave us the best ideas and final results. But that is not all, we worked with them more than once at our kitchen table asking for advice on the cupboards, what to put where, what would give us maximum space, we even closed off a door to another room and it was a magnificent change, thanks to their advice and diligent work that stayed close to the plan that we had all worked out as a team. The financial part was also easy and paying the invoice was very easy using their payment automation online. We are very satisfied with the quality of work, attention to detail, timing, cooperation with our schedule (I work from home) and all around pleasant attitude every day. We communicated often even when they were not scheduled to be at our home. I have never worked with a better set of contractors. They did not abandon us for other jobs and their crew were pleasant and professional at all times. I am looking forward to working with them in the future on that bathroom that we hope to have done next year.

The regrouting was done but the cleanup was terrible. We spent several hours trying to clean up the dried grout that was not taken off and the floors were full of sandy grout.

Pavel did a wonderful job of modifying the center cabinet of a built in bookcase so that I could hang an electric retractable projector screen on the bookcase. Additionally he had a design idea that allowed me to keep the bottom half of the center cabinet to house electronic components suggesting he could fashion a new top for the bottom half from the remains of the top half he removed. It looks beautiful and serves its purpose better than I had imagined. He charged me exactly what he quoted which was $300,00 to remove the entire cabinet from the bookcase even though the final job was different from what I originally requested. He did masterful work at a reasonable price and I highly recommend him. I will definitely call him again for future needs. Pavel did a professional, skilled job installing a tile kitchen backsplash. In addition we had an existing tile shower that had never been topped off to the ceiling. Pavel was able to finish the tiling. Pavel and Coastal Home also showed up for all appointments on time, and returned phone calls and emails. We are extremely pleased with the tile work, love our backsplash and would definitely hire Coastal Home again.

Iwona came and saw what we wanted done and within five days emailed us an estimate and supplies list and drawing of what they would do. We notified them that we wanted to contract them to do the work. Pavel came and brought samples and explained exactly what we needed to buy for the shower head and knobs. He told us exactly when he would start and when he would be finished and met all timelines. We decided we wanted a shower door which was not in the initial estimate and Pavel ordered the door and installed it while remaining in our time frame. He protected our carpets cleaned up after himself each day. He was a great craftsman and made sure we were happy every step along the way.

Pavel did an excellent job. Punctual, personable, professional. He did a beautiful job and even went the extra mile and returned the next day to fix a problem that was not of his doing. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Coastal Home Renovations. This company is extremely professional and greatly knowledgeable in all areas of home improvements. Their attention to detail is unmatched and their constant communication with project updates during the renovation process leaves you reassured and at ease, knowing that you have made the right choice. I will definitely use them for my next project!

We had great experience working with Iwona and Paval. They were always on time, made excellent suggestions for layouts and grout selections and even advised us on an unforeseen issue we had beneath the carpet once they removed it. (There was an extensive crack in the foundation that they had to repair before the tile could be installed) and they had to do this all from a distance. We live in Austin, Texas and the town home is in Conway, South Carolina where our daughter attends college. They even sent us daily updates via email with photos on the progress. We can't say enough good things about working with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future. Just wished they lived closer to Texas - I'd love them to work on our home here next!

I contacted The Home Depot in Shallotte for information about a remodel in November 2014. I had experieced a significant fall and it was clear that the showers in our home would no longer be an option given my new issues with walking. We decided that we would update one of our bathrooms, rip out the existing shower (fiberglass) and put in a tiled walk in shower with some handicapped features. Home Depot sent a middleman to "coordinate" the sale and buying of materials. They used a group called USIG. What a nightmare! USIG was negligent in their duties of the ordering of materials necessary to start the job. This resulted in the work not getting started until January of this year. Furthermore, they demanded full payment beforehand. I later learned that while they demand full payment from the customer, they do not release payment to the subcontractor (in this case, Coastal Home) until after the job is finished. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have NEVER used Home Depot. That's the bad part. The good part is that they hired Pavel to do the work. He was the opposite of USIG and Home Depot. Professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Always on time. Cleaned up the space beautifully and returned to fix a few small things. He even put up a small shelf for me that wasn't part of the contract and fixed a small issue in the hallway that wasn't his fault because he is just that nice. I can't say enough good things about his work. The only reason I cannot give the whole experience an A is because of USIG and Home Depot. I would encourage anyone interested in bathroom remodel to contact Coastal Home DIRECTLY and avoid the foolishness I experienced with Home Depot. Pavel and Iwona are honest, knowledgeable and fair.

We chose Coastal Home Renovations to do our kitchen and bath remodel after reading the great reviews on Angie's List and meeting with them in person. Pavel was detail oriented from the first time we met him to take measurements and get a rough estimate of how much the project would cost. Iwona was always pleasant to deal with and paid great attention to details that we would have otherwise forgotten. They were always willing to take the time to explain things or send us pictures of the progress as we live several states away. I can't say enough good things about them and have recommended them to other friends and family. If I ever need renovations done to a home or rental near the Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC areas, I will happily recommend them and provide a reference. Coastal Home Renovations returned my email a few hours after I sent them an email asking for a quote. As a matter of fact, they returned the email on a Sunday night around midnight!!! We scheduled an appointment and they showed up promptly as scheduled. Pavel, the proprietor, was very professional and really courteous...emailed me a quote after the walk-thru and gave me several options on installation. On installation day, he arrived between 8:30 and 9:00am, did the walk-thru with his installer and made sure he knew exactly how to proceed before he left. The install went very well. My dishwasher is installed in my island and not near my kitchen sink, so some custom work needed to be done to make it happen. The installer even gave me his card just in case there were any leaks or other problems. After the install, Ivana (the office manager) called to see how the install worked and to make sure that I was satisfied. I was so pleased with their work and cost, that I hired them again a few weeks later to mount my 65" flat panel to the wall!
