I paid this company $5,000 to put down topsoil and tall fescue sod. they did they job and forgot to put down the top soil and the grass all died within 2-3 weeks. topsoil was in the contract and the rep assured me it would be laid 1st. but after their blunder they just played the wording game and didn't care that the job was done incorrectly. my yard has red hard dirt and lots of rocks and before the job the rep said it absolutely needed topsoil. as soon as the job was done and they realized their mistake, they rushed to my house the same day to collect payment. Ideal Landscaping has very dishonest people working there and running the place. Be aware before doing any business with these people

Ideal Landscaping and Irrigation is the best choice I’ve made for my yard and outdoor space in years. Matt came out and evaluated my yard and my daughter’s yard and with his help we designed a perfect plan for both. We definitely decided quickly to sign a contract with them. Josh, our main supervisor, has been on top of everything going on with our properties and he is making a great impact on our yards. Our crew is top notch and they take great care and pride in what they do every time they come. We hired Ideal Landscaping to do our outdoor lighting for our house and had no clue what we wanted with all of the options. They put together a design and it came out way better than I expected!! They were wonderful to work with from start to finish and even came back for a post light adjustment to make sure everything was perfect! I can’t recommend them enough for any of your landscape and lighting needs!

We were very pleased with the project that Ideal did for us. Communication throughout the process was great. They have a pre-construction meeting so everyone know exactly what will happen. The install was done very professionally and completed on time. We would highly recommend!

Ideal Landscaping did an incredible job on our landscaping project! They started on time, and finished ahead of schedule even with extremely cold weather. We revamped our entire front yard, and they did a terrific job removing the old plants and stone, and planting all new plants, and coordinating new mulch throughout. They built two beautiful walls and helped us design lighting for the walls and front of the house. We made small tweaks at the end, and they were extremely accommodating and happy to help with the changes. We highly recommend Ideal Landscaping and hope to use them again!

We had a very large backyard project that was designed by a local landscape architect. Ideal Landscaping was one of the companies we chose to have bid the job - they weren’t the cheapest bid, but they were the most professional from the way they (Aaron) presented the contract, followed up with any questions answered, and actively tried to get the job, all of which I very much appreciated due to my own busy life schedule. Once we awarded the project to Ideal, we had excellent customer service with all the different crews, the project manager (Daniel), the owner (Chris), and other key employees in the irrigation and softscape departments. Daniel was always available to answer questions via text or phone, was super easy to work with, and was ready with solution options to any problem that arose. Supply chain problems with hardscape materials and COVId related issues with some of their subcontractors was the only negative I could even say about this 3.5 month project, but none of that was the fault of Ideal Landscaping. I would recommend this company to anyone with any sized project - they are a rare gem of a company in the world of construction.

Matt, Devon, Donnie, Esli, and Gabino demonstrated their great talent and artistry as they transformed what was our dog’s backyard bathroom into an entertaining space our family and friends will enjoy for many years to come. I highly recommend the team at Ideal Landscaping & Irrigation!

“The worst part of our home is now the BEST!” These guys truly are amazing. We did a back-yard project, transforming our extremely sloped back yard into our oasis. We have multiple retaining walls, odd shaped patio designs using pavers, multiple boulders, stepping stones, sod, and landscaping. Ideal was ready for this challenge. From inception to completion, Aaron, Chris, Devon and their team handled every curve ball we threw at them professionally and timely. The project started off in December. We had some serious cold weather and experienced a couple of snow delays. Mother nature didn’t agree with our timeline. However, to try and keep us as close to schedule as possible, I came home numerous days to find the guys huddling around our firepit, warming up, before going back to digging in almost frozen ground. They were very committed. Since this project kicked off just before the holidays, they delivered Poinsettias to our neighbors, as a “Pardon the mess in the cul-de-sac” gift. A few days before Christmas they came out with a truck and removed all the supplies and equipment, and cleaned the street so it wouldn’t be a nuisance. I threw a number of change-requests at them, some easy, some not so easy, but they were able to handle it in stride, adjust the plan/estimate, and have additional product onsite the following day. Speaking of product, Aaron was able to guide us in the right direction when selecting the right product for the job yet helping to keep us in budget. All the hardscape and landscape products are high quality. Not everything was perfect. There ended up being a couple of low spots on our paver patio after the frozen ground had thawed and settled. Devon and his guys were out to pull it up and repair it the day after I reported it. One of the retaining walls didn’t square up properly after it was complete. I didn’t even notice it. I just found them tearing down a completed wall one afternoon and rebuilding it. On their own time at their own cost. They were very responsive and dedicated to making our project match our vision. In the end we have a place for entertaining and relaxing, better than we could have imagined. Aaron kept us within budget, except for where we chose to go over and beyond budget. Even then, he made concessions to make sure we were happy and got exactly what we wanted. We get so many compliments from neighbors and friends on the transformation. Ideal will be my choice for landscape/hardscape whenever needed in the future. Expectations far exceeded!

Ideal was very responsive to my needs and mainly my BUDGET!!! We were able to cut some things out, change some things, even delay some things, so we could eventually get everything we wanted!! I love entertaining with my new outdoor living area!! There were some things I was unsure of, but Chris and Aaron eased my mind. Thanks guys!!

I had another quote for comparison. With Ideal Landscaping, I got a better transformer and 2 additional path lights for less money. Aaron and his team sent a video showing me how to adjust the timer if I desired, which was very helpful. The lighting makes the home feel welcoming and I will likely add a few more lights in the future as my transformer is powerful enough to do so. I love the look and the feeling as I pull in the drive way each night!

I hired Ideal Landscaping to do irrigation and build an outdoor living space. They dd an incredible job and completed it within the time frame the set. They went above and beyond and were professional every step of the way. A wonderful company to deal with; always returned my calls promptly with any questions I had and even were accommodating when I changed my mind part way through the project. Very professional and exceptional work. i would highly recommend them for all your landscape needs. I can't wait until I n get landscape lighting, my next project.

Aaron and his team just installed a project for one of my customers. I have worked with them on numerous projects. I received the following note from my customer in High Point: "Hi Lori. My yard looks amazing! Aaron is now going to do my monthly maintenance also, his attention to detail it refreshing. I will send you pictures as soon as they plant the left side Oakleaf Holly." I love it when I hear this from customers- thank you so much Ideal Landscaping for the great customer service and installation for my customer!

Prior to signing the project commitment the service was excellent but as soon as we signed the engagement was much different - My wife and I had to be the project managers on top of the crew each day, without doing so, the project would not have turned out like plans / drawings. The project manager was on site 2 times in 3 weeks - Ideal damaged our driveway by dumping gravel on the driveway and removing with a Bobcat - My concrete was left dingy / muddy and not left the way Ideal found it - The minute the job was "complete" the owner was there to take our cash and run - A few weeks after the job was complete the tree in question lost a significant portion of leaves...I contacted the owner but no response - I recently contacted the owner again to ask to have the damaged tree replaced under their "one year warranty" but he declined and told us we could pay to have a new one installed

It didn't, I researched the repairs, ordered the needed parts, repaired, and it works great, and saved our family over $750.

This company had the lowest estimate by far. I spoke to three past customers and they were all very satisfied with their jobs. The crew did a great job of getting all of the trenching done. They had a lot of very hard work in the backyard due to having to go under existing hardscapes as well as getting through all of the roots from my many trees. Aaron came over on Saturday morning to test everything and provided my wife and I with instruction on using the automated controller. Looks great and I would definitely recommend this company.
