Description of Work: After having phoned several appliance repair services in the area and either getting voice mail or being told I could not get an appointment, I called Newport Appliance Repair. Mr. George Williams answered the phone. I explained my issue with my Whirlpool washing machine. He was extremely courteous and helpful. He walked me through a simple solution, and said he didn't want to charge me for a $50.00 service call when he was fairly certain he could help me by phone. Problem solved. When I do have an issue in the future, I will certainly be calling Mr. Williams first. What excellent customer service!

+ -1 moreI called Newport Appiance Repair and left a message on their voicemail. I received a return call within two hours. I told Mr. Williams that it was not an emergency and he said he could stop by the next day in the morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the refrigerator. He showed us how to correct the problem if it occured again. My Williams was very pleasant to have working in our house. We would not hestiate to call on him again or to recommend him to others.

+ -1 moreCalled in afternoon and appointment was scheduled for 9 am the next morning. Arrived on time. Checked refrigator and determine problem in about 20 minutes, Fee was very reasonable and followed his advice to get a new unit. Replacement was obtained shortly there after from Lowes at a reasonable price, which included delivery of new unit and haul away of old unit.
Description of Work: Refrigerator was not maintaining a low tempertures in the freezer. After examination, determined unit had a slow gas leak which type of repair he did not perform. Advised replacing due to age of unit (10 years) and probable cost of repairing.

+ -1 moreMr. Williams performed in a highly professional manner and service charge was very reasonable. Will be very glad to call him again if needed in the future.
Description of Work: Mr. Williams arrived Friday afternoon, found ice maker water line was leaking in two places; at connection of line to refrigerator unit and the unit itself. The problems required a new water line and the refrigerator attachment unit. Unit had to be ordered and was installed the following Monday by 11:30 am.
