COASTAL COMFORT HEATING & AC

I called Coastal Comfort, and they had someone at my house in around an hour to provide me with a quote for replacing my old dead Sears air conditioner that was 14 years old. Tony arrived when he said he would, and was extremely polite, courteous, and most importantly competent. He measured incessantly, looked over the install site over and over to be sure that the unit that he was suggesting would fit into my closet. He went the extra mile to explain to me the more expensive units, and the less expensive units, we talked about seers vs dollars, and he noted that I had a Nest thermostat, and commented he had one too. My install was a huge challenge due to many factors. Lenny and Winston arrived as planned on the install day two days later and went straight to work. They were very clean, and careful, and took extra time to make sure that the area was properly prepped before putting new equipment in. Lenny was amazing. His handiwork is not what I would expect from an A/C installer. My closet was a wreck from the previous installer, (Sears) and my condensate drain pipe had been pieced together with tape by Sears. It literally fell apart when it was touched.w It was shocking to see the shoddy work that Sears had performed. Lenny set me up with a brand new one, and did it way beyond my expectation. I now have a drain I can rely on. Meanwhile outside Winston removed the old compressor unit, and put the new one in its new home, and hooked it up very quickly efficiently. Both Lenny and Winston worked together as a team to get everything prepped, and turned on. As an aside, both of these guys were very likable, and a pleasure to have in my home and spend the day with. Not that it is all that important, but if you have to let strangers in your home, you want to at least enjoy their presence. I was happy to have them both at my house. In the end, I have an absolutely beautiful A/C install. Wires tucked tied and managed, filter size labeled on the front of the unit, and internal as well as external flood switches. I am very happy with the installation. Coastal Comfort far exceeded my expectations for price, product choice, and quality of workmanship on install. I would recommend them to anyone. These are my new go to A/C guys!

Coastal Comfort Heating and AC motto is neighbors first. I can call him and he can be on a job and he'll tell me he will be out later that afternoon. He won't leave a job or not show up somewhere after he said he would be there, but he will make sure he helps his neighbors. He did everything he could to make sure that it couldn't be any problem besides the compressor. He is prompt. He is a very easy going fellow. He'll pat you on the back and tell a joke with you. He behaves in a decent manner.
