Water pipe broke inside exterior house wall that supplies outside spigot. Turned house water supply off. Called Sam Camden on Saturday morning (found him on Angie's List) left message. He returned call in approx. 45 minutes. Came out did the job in a couple of hours ($185); suggested a wall panel for future where hole had to be cut for access which made sense. Liked the job so had him run an additional line to the upper deck that was needed ($275). No problems as of this report.

Sam Camden saved me hundreds of dollars by advising me not to replace perfectly good water shut-off valves. After another company recommended I replace 15 water shut-off valves at a cost of upwards of $500, Sam explained that I should go around and tighten the packing nuts on all of the valves before considering replacing them. It took me 5 mins and all the valves were fixed. Sam did not charge a penny. I have hired a lot of contractors and it has been a long time since I talked to one who was willing to sacrifice a base fee (which in the plumbing business seems to be around $100) and just do the right thing and tell me how I could fix the problem.
