Jillian K Mitchell

Ms Mitchell is a real jewel. We had some antique lacquered pieces and wanted wall color to compliment them. That is when we discovered that Jillian has a degree in fine arts. She is also a highly sought after set painter and has travelled from New Hampshire to Savannah on theatre and TV jobs. Because she is not pushy she didn't volunteer her opinion until in frustration we asked her. The rooms are perfection. She is always on time,m works tirelessly and leaves no mess. We learned that she paints murals on walls and ceilings and is a master of faux finishes.

She was phenomenal and intuitive and can actually hold colors in her mind. In no time, we had a plan that I am really excited about and she presented it in a professional manner. She is very talented and I recommended her enthusiastically!!

I can't say enough good things about Jillian. Professional from start to finish. Before she started, she made several examples for me to choose from, using the colors I picked during our first meeting. She showed up on time, and finished on time. The results were exactly what I had imagined. Perfect.

Jillian was absolutely fantastic to work with! She is an amazing talent and one of the hardest workers I have ever met. First, she was very responsive to my inquiry and subsequent calls. Very nice change from other contractors that I contacted for my renovation project (they were not hired). She went well above and beyond what I expected. She helped me pick out all the colors and even met me at Lowe's to help pick out matching tile! She also took the time to meet with my daughter to determine exactly what she wanted on her walls. Additionally, she made an extra trip a month after she was complete to paint my baseboards (installed later due to flooring replacement), even though I said I didn't expect her to do that. One quick anecdote. I had a huge pile of flooring that was in the way of her setting up to paint the living room ceiling. I told her to let me know when she needed it moved and I would get it out of her way. She is petite. She works alone. I checked in a day later and the wood was moved and the ceiling painted! I can unequivocally recommend Jillian. Her professionalism, artistic talent, and work ethic are all excellent.

Ms. Mitchell was spectacular!! Not only is she a master technician, but she is an artist. Her input on color selection made an enormous change for the better in the way this project came out. The wallpaper removal turned out to me a miserably difficult job. It ended up taking far more time than we originally expected yet she stayed right on the estimate price. Once Jillian started the job, she was here every day and worked all day (despite our house being a 50 mile commute from her home. While Ms. Mitchell is in high demand, and we had to wait a while for her to be able to fit us in, we are soooo glad that we did. Basically, Jillian's work has brought the look of our house at least 20 years out of the past and made it a joy to live in. Thank you again and again Jillian!!

Ms Mitchell is a fine art painter who paints houses on the side. She is so accomplished that she flies around the country designing and painting theater sets. That says it all. Her color sense is awesome and if you ask her she will help with color selection. Obviously her workmanship is beyond excellent. She is extraordinary neat and punctual. Plus she is a really interesting and friendly person. It was fun having her around. I would recommend her for any job from wall painting, to murals, to a portrait.

Working with Jillian was a great experience. From my first contact with her she was very professional, timely in her estimate, and extremely reliable. Her artist's knowledge of color was very helpful to me in making color selections and I am so pleased with the color I decided upon. Her work is superb. She was efficient and dependable. At the end of each work day she left the area clean and well ordered. She is worth every penny and I will hire her again without hesitation.

Excellent painter, took the time to know exactly what I wanted and needed in paint choices do to pets and need for washing walls. nothing like a women's touch with interior design.

one. I have had many houses painted over the years. Ms Mitchell was far and away the best.. As background she has a degree in fine art and is an accomplished fine art painter. She is also in demand as a theater set creator. Her brush technique would put a Leonardo on notice. Her color sense rivals Pantone. But she is not pushy or argumentative. But once my wife and I realized the level of her expertise we took advantage of her to fine tune color selection. To say that the house looks fantastic is an understatement.Now I am trying to talk her into varnishing my boat!

Amazing job. She is a skillful painter and very reasonably priced. However, more importantly - use her for color consults...she has an excellent eye and patience to work with you to find just the right shade
