Description of Work: The professionals at Coastal do excellent work. The prices are reasonable- no low balls, then a price jump, nor too high. As a little background, the firm has developed a work flow that with planning allows full use of their staff, hence they do not need to cover idle time between jobs with higher prices. Turning to the staff, they provide a steady work schedule for the employees which attracts a mature and skilled staff, knowing you will not be idle, but having a steady paycheck is a great motivator. These are keys features for a small firm, and allows the management to plan and price jobs. So much for the background, on to the work. The combination of a master carpenter with a skilled assistant can shortened the time to do a job and still maintain the quality of the work. To support the work, the crew comes with a large trailer, equipped with the required power tools, bench stock, generator, etc., plus space to carry the material out of the weather. They can roll in, set up and be on the job with no delay. They have done a number of jobs at my residence, and each time, it was excellent work, even the strange replacing of decorative timbers job. They did the small amount of painting to touchup the job without backing off and calling for a painter, which would delay the job and increase the cost. They do not do electrical which would require a licensed electrician. I note that because they know their safety limits, a sign of a mature crew. As a final note, the last part of the job, they pull out the vacuum cleaner and blower to clean up the job site. A little extra, but it shows their attention to detail. I highly recommend the firm.

Description of Work: Installed a new Pella fiberglass front door and completed all interior and exterior trim work associated with the replacement. Johnny Harrison, the estimator, took very good care of us throughout the entire process.

Description of Work: They remodeled my bathroom. They completely gutted it and redid it. My husband was handicapped and we made it for him to be safe in.
