Although the staff are all friendly and responsive, we have had continual problems with our gas furnace every winter since the original installation in 2019 when the temperature drops below 30. The first year, nothing was done since the furnace began to work when the temperature increased. The 2nd year, they said the thermostat was bad and replaced it, charging us for the labor to replace it. I paid this invoice believing the problem was solved. The 3rd year, the technician said that the exhaust ductwork was sloped toward the furnace causing the condensation to back up and shut down the furnace. I was invoiced a significant amount but I declined to pay since it was an installation mistake that should have been corrected earlier. After 4 years of trying to correct the problem, they are now refusing to correct the (continuing) problem and we were again without heat in the morning. I did an internet search to see if anybody else had this problem and found it was a common problem with gas furnaces installed in an attic. All that was required was to insulate the condensate drain outside. I purchased a $4 piece of insulation and installed it myself. We have had no problem since. Seems like a "professional" HVAC company should have known this type of problem and not corrected it earlier. It's sad that a company does not take pride in providing a professional quality service nor correct problems caused by a defective installation.

I shopped and wanted additional questions answered because I was considering replacing the entire unit and switching to a gas furnace. The salesman wasn't good about getting back to me when I had additional questions. I called and texted. I was leaning towards the replacement vs. repair but got tired of waiting on a reply from the salesman.(This is why I graded a B. The ladies in the officer were wonderful. The technicians who did the work were great, knowledgeable, polite, clean-up behind themselves replacement work went well. Highly recommend.

Everything went well and the cost to fix the problem was not much. There is a diagnostic fee of $79.95.

I just had the heat pump installed but it seems to be working very well.

After a rough start with trying to contact the right person to schedule the service call, C&A did a fantastic job of taking care of all of the repairs that were needed. The service people were very professional and polite and were able to easily explain to me in layman's terms what my system needed and what they had done. I was very concerned about the drainage issues we've been having and they were able to implement a solution that will solve the problem. Thank you C&A for your great customer service. I appreciate that when they discovered there was a problem with communication, they jumped right in and immediately came fixed it. That, to me, is someone that I want to continue to do business with.

I came home from work and discovered that my air conditioning was not putting out any cool air I called C/A Heating and Air Conditioning. The young lady that answered the phone was polite and courteous and apologized because she could not send a technician right away. She put me on the schedule for the next available appointment. I called to be sure that I was on the service list for that day and again the young lady was courteous and said that I was. The repair technician came when expected and he was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He explained what the problem was with my unit and told me it would be fixed in no time flat and within the hour it was. I am very pleased with the service and the price to fix my unit. I would recommend C/A Heating and Air and will use them in the future should I have any problems.

They came out once, refilled the system, and it was out again within 6 months, so I contacted the supplier, who arranged with them to refill my system, because that stuff is like 330 Dollars. The supplier agreed to warranty my repair, even though it was past the due date, I only had 5 years on it, and it had 6 years on it. They realized that the coil was out and so they ordered that and replaced it. It took some time, but it was fine. You have to schedule them in advance, otherwise you may not get immediate help.

They where on time and performed the preventative service. In the fall we will see if they perform the appropriate service.

Arrived on schedule, while running diagnostic check kept me informed of procedure and what the readings should be. Was very informative and professional.

As noted above,C/A and this particular technician are second to none. their responsiveness on a Sunday afternoon is nothing short of outstanding. I was not suprised that the part we needed was "on the truck" nor were we suprised by the technicians professional and friendly attitude and behavior. Not only did he quickly troubleshoot and replace the defective part, he also serviced the unit and stayed an additional 10 - 15 minutes to assure it was working properly. He discovered that we may have a small leak resulting in loss of freon but assured us it will work fine until they send someone out to perform a leak check. C/A is a "class act" in every aspect and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Install was on budget as bid, done in a timely, professional manner. All questions were answered and the work was done quickly.

We're going to go back to them again because I want C/A Heating and Air Conditioning Inc to do our City and annual maintenance. They did a really good job. He was a young guy and he seem to know what he was doing and we really liked him a lot. He was excellent.

Being an engineer I had a few questions about my A/C system and Ron didn't mind answering them as I followed him from air handler to thermostat to outside unit. He was friendly and I don't think I could ask for much more out of a service call.

I was impressed by Jim, the technician sent out to my house. I recently purchased a foreclosed home, and the heat pump/thermostat were not functioning properly. I called C/A Tuesday morning, and they came to my house the same day. They called to let me know when they were on their way. The service was great as well. Jim was friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to explain the nature of the problem and what the possible solutions were. He was courteous, and I did not feel pressured into any decisions. The part I bought from them was a bit more expensive than had I bought it from the store. Jim told me this, and I appreciated his honesty. I chose to get it from them because they guaranteed the work on it for 5 years. I was so please with my experience that it was not a difficult choice whatsoever. I appreciated the punctuality, politeness, and expertise of this company. I would recommend C/A to friends and hire them again myself.

Excellent service when our heating system did not blow hot air one morning.

Should have included a firm that installed Carrier Heat Pumps.

Our service man was Ted and he did an excellent job.. He was professional, courteous, on time and very knowledgeable, plus he was able to explain what we needed so that we could understand and make an educated decision on additional work to be done on the Heat Pump/Air/Connections. We will definitely give them our business based on the work performed today.

They are very good. They come right out when I have a problem. They are very dependable and they don't gouge me. Something happened to the downstairs unit and they came right out and fixed it at no charge. They are very good. I did my homework before I hired them. I would use them again.

Called for an estimate. They called back same day and showed up the next day for the appointment. They were on time and provided a good estimate, to my requirements. They were honest and responsive to my requests for more information. I did not choose them simply because I chose a different brand of ac unit, but their price was fair for a Trane unit.
