My father was really sick and we were building a home next to his so we could take care of him. We had a contractor help build the house for us as we did not have time. We participated with the house as much as possible and was able to talk directly with all of the sub-contractors as we wished. Eason flooring answered all of our questions in the beginning explaining to us how things were to be done. Whenever floors are put in there are voids in the wood from bugs or other damage and we understood that. They explained how they would fill the voids and finish the floors. They also talked about how many nails that they used to make the floor stable and look it's best. In the end we have gouges, nail holes, bug holes and other damage that was never repaired. The floor is full of sander gouges that look like bowls cut into the floor. The shoe molding that they installed, about half does not have any polyurethane applied while in other areas there is polyurethane up the walls and wood work. There are even dripps all down the treads of my stairs. They did come back twice to fix it but we never saw any real improvement and the molding was never coated or nail holes filled. We also had to get someone else to go under the house and install screws throught the floor to keep it from moving, the boards would pop and move under your feet. We were not able to fix this issue upstairs. They blamed it on the Advantech flooring but it was glued to the joists as well as nailed really well by the framers. When talking about the wavey look of the floor, one foreman even said whoever put the hardwood floor down didn't nail it well and backed up on this story when I reminded him that they had put the floor down. Please beware of this company, they must not be able to handle a large job like this one.
Description of Work: Installed hard wood flooring throughout my new 2,700 sq ft home.
