When speaking with Lisa on the telephone she seems nice but a "mater of fact type person" and I was glad for that. I needed to know the state of this house and was I surprised when the report arrived. I had an inspection when we purchased the home we live in now and received a small 3 ring binder with mostly cut and pasted general information. What I received from her that evening was an email with attached a 44 page factual report with pictures backing up what she was saying. Also attached were other tips and there also is a written report yet to follow. The next day Lisa followed up with a 30 minute phone call and explained her findings and addressed my questions. I was shocked at this level of service in the time we live. I showed her report to other engineers I work with and they also were shocked with the level of detail and helpful information. This lady provides a great service and the price was well worth what I received.

Lisa was extremely professional throughout and it became clear early in our phone discussions that she is a very well organized individual with extensive project management skills.... On the day of the inspection, she arrived on time and most important to me, she had the report written the same day and in my possession via email. A few days later I had the full report delivered to my home via fedex in a well constructed binder. I have called Lisa a couple of times since the original inspection to get her interpretation of the work we have begun since buying the property to address the minor findings represented in her report and in each case she has provided additional (and immediate) support. I consider Lisa a trusted advisor in this regard as we have never previously purchased a home at high elevation or in such a remote area. Her experience was unquestionably critical to us in making such an important financial decision so I would recommend her to anyone without reservation!

From the moment I first spoke with Lisa Turner of Your Home Inspection, Inc., long-distance to get estimates for a home inspection she was friendly and engaging. Her prices were slightly better than her competitors, I'm guessing because she is working to establish her business. We decided to retain her services after visiting her Web site and seeing her background as a general contractor and the amount of general information available, including an example of one of her inspection reports. Her inspection of our home resulted in a very thorough home inspection report, including many photos, with detailed comments on repairs recommended and/or immediately required. She also very willingly followed up on our questions and requests. A couple of weeks later when we came to North Carolina she gladly came to the house and did a walk-through with us, making comments and giving tips along the way as well as answering all of our questions. She was great. Short of the house falling down next week, I cannot imagine a better experience with a home inspector. I would, without reservation, recommend Lisa and her work for home inspections
