The serviceman was professional from start to finish. He was cordial and thoroughly explained what he was going to do and systematically did what was promised. He went room by room and assessed each electrical outlet, switch, etc. He identified the ones that needed replacing and replaced them. He assessed the circuit breaker and determined that nothing needed to be replaced. This was key and contrary to an assessment by another electrical company who quoted a charge of $500 for the same services he provided plus an additional charge for the the circuit breaker. He explained why I did not need a new circuit breaker and unlike the other company, he quickly identified the switch in the circuit breaker that had been recently replaced. t

It went great. He repaired everything that was asked of him. Got there on time in the morning. Kept in contact when he thought he was going to be late due to heavy rain and bad traffic. But he arrived within the time frame he gave me when he booked the appointment. Overall a great appointment I will use him for future work.

Matt showed up at the agreed-upon time window to work on the dead phone line. He examined what I pointed out as the likely culprit (the wire closest to the interior junction box that the phone company had to "monkey" with to get the line live when service was turned on 4 months before). He re-spliced the wires at that spot, and the issue was confirmed when the dial tone came back. I expressed no interest in continuing to use what I suspected was 40 year-old wire, so Matt evaluated possible new line routing alternatives instead of just following the hokey way the "original" phone line ran. There's no cable or satellite service to the house so there was at least 4 known unused separate coaxial lines. He suggested that if I had no intention of using the cable closest to outside phone network box, it can be snipped and the new phone line can run through that existing hole in the wall--it was simple, straightforward, and gave me the one jack I needed in this age of wireless routers and cordless phones. Before leaving, he also help ID that the one GFCI power socket in the kitchen protected all the sockets on that side, I had the $99 2-hr service deal from Angie's List and paid $25 in materials for the phone line.

Start to finish, everything went well.

Mr. Evans came out the day after I called for an appointment, and proceeded to thoroughly comb through our soon to be home to find any issues, check voltage, and make recommendations for us. We haven't called for him to come back yet, as we are still in the "getting settled" phase, but we plan to. Mr. Evans was early to arrive, extremely professional, answered all of my questions with ease, and was extremely thorough. I would highly recommend this vendor.

I had purchased a Deal for $99 and then paid an additional $75 for extra time and materials he brought. His work was very professional, quick and neat. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Matthew arrived early and worked for 4 hours without a break. He was polite and professional. I was very pleased.

They were amazing and did an outstanding job. The service men were professional and friendly. They were nice people to stay around and they were outstanding as well as professional. The owner came several times to ensure the job was being done well, as I wanted and he also came several times to clear my doubts. He made sure I understood and got what I wanted. I don’t think I ever got something like this from an owner, especially from a big company like this. He delivered really terrific service and was very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them in the future.

Evans came out and fixed the problem and it did not cost me one extra cent over what I paid for the big deal coupon. He was terrific and I would call him again for more work!

He was on time and fixed most of light problems, will purchase new light fixtures for him to install.

They were excellent overall. They were on time and easy to deal with.

Matt was on time and ready to work. We bought his special 2 hours for $99 to try it out. I explained to Matt what i needed done and he spent time explaining what he was going to do. I had all the materials ready for Matt so he was ready to start. He made sure he didn't mess up our walls which were faux finished when making the holes on the wall. He was quick and finished in about an hour or so. For the GFCI he recommended putting a GFCI switch outside, so it would not get triggered all the time. The job required more time plus it needed parts which he did not have. So we went to the next job and that was to put in the security light outside where the existing light was. We found out that the existing light was too low and needed to be put higher. That would take more time so Matt explained what he would do in both cases. He gave me options so that was great.

I purchased two hours of electrical services offered by Evans Electric thru Angies "Big deal". Matt Evans (the owner) arrived at my home to perform the work. He was on time, very professional, and completed the work I wanted done within the allotted time period, including cleaning of his work areas. Matt undoubtly has the skills, understanding, and experience of a competent electrician, and I would trust him to perform any type of electrical work required.

Matt the owner of Evans Electric was present and peforming the work with his crew from start to finish. They were punctual and professional, clean and careful and all work was completed as promised ahead of schedule. Matt is extremely polite and goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely happy with his work. The company can do any type of electrical work as I used them for everything from 220 volt wiring to cable for the TV and eveything in between. This was the second time I have used Evans Electric for a major electrical job and both times I have been equally pleased. Matt runs a great organization I will absolutely use him again for any electrical needs I may have. I highly recommend this company.
