 + -1 moreOne year later I discoverd the roof leaking at the boot. The water had run down to the lowest point on the stack in the attic and caused water damage to the ceiling in the room over the garage. I called Miller and Randy came out to look at it. Randy was one of the techs who had moved the vent. It was very obviuos to me that the water was coming in at the boot of this stack. Randy stood in my house and agreed with me. I then received a bill from Miller for 75$ for the service call. I took this bill to their shop and confronted Eldon about it. I expected them to fix the leak at the boot and repair the damage to my ceiling free of charge. Eldon denied it was their responsiblity and informed me that Randy had told him my roof was leaking from some other location. I refused to pay the 75$. I then hired MAC'S Heating & AC. John came out and replace the boot and re-plumbed the stack for 250.00. There has been no leak since then. I had to fix the ceiling damage myself. I would never use E.L. Miller again. His people are dishonest and he does not stand behind the work they do.
Description of Work: Miller installed my HVAC when this home was built in 2006, so when I needed someone to move the stack for the main unit (this is a 3 zone system), I called E.L. Miller. They sent 3 guys. It took them 3 days to make the needed changes and charged me 900.00. Mind you, this was just the plumbing vent stack going through a boot on the roof.  + 0 moreThey took the well pump and rebuilt it. It took two weeks to return the pump. They loaned us a pump to use until our's was returned. Their rep. left. Everytime the pump came on it emitted a loud grinding noise. The walls would make a perking noise after the water was shut off in the house as air filled the water lines. I called and complained. I was told the problem was not the pump but the VA Wellhead and that they would not come out until I had replaced the wellhead. That I had informed of this before the fixed the pump. It took my husband calling from overseas in order to get the pump working right. The pressure gage was missing a screw and the grinding sound was the glass face vibrating. The air in the line was due to the pressure switch not being adjusted to the correct pressure range
Description of Work: Our well pump froze while we were in California for Christmas. I called and asked to have the pump rebuilt. The company installed a temperary pump and took our pump to work on it. It took two weeks. The pump was returned rebuilt.

 + 0 moreGreat service and polite good natured employee. Would not hesitate to use in the future. Family run business that are down to earth and responsive.
Description of Work: Made an appointment to change out and move some 240 elec outlets and repair/replace some 11o outlets. Arrived on time and rather than charge per job charged for service time only and made repairs beyond my expectations. Then showed us how to address a smoke detector issue. Polite and professional. Would use them again in the future without hesitation.
