Came out and re sloped my bed and added small retaining wall and installed french draining system with river rock to solve a drainage problem. The team was very polite, dependable and work till the problem was solved. They came out promptly and stood behind there work. I will be using this company again in the future.

Zack and his team are great - hardworking, show up when they say they will, willing to please and creative in solving any problems. Went above and beyond our exceptions, especially with regard to the mulch and sodding they added in the area around the creek. Looks wonderful!

Here is a crew that understands customer service. I was asked no less than 4 times if I was happy with the progress. They were polite and they were attentive to details. The best damn crew I have ever had. Customer oriented for sure.

The job that Zack and his people did for us was large in scope and included sod, grading and drains, plantings, and mulch. We are more than pleased with the result and will certainly call on them for future projects.

We hired ZR landscaping to remove debris from our yard, install a barrier for regrowth, and add 3" mulch. We also hired them to repair the retaining wall steps. They did a good job overall at removing debris. They did not put the regrowth barrier down as originally quoted in price and they only added 2" of mulch. The steps were originally going to be repaired with wood but it was discovered that they were rotted. Instead of proposing to install new stringers and new wood, Zach proposed to add large rocks and concrete. The pictures he showed of the rocks and concrete he would use looked nice and we agreed. The pictures showed 2-3 ft rocks and concrete. We agreed and paid an additional amount. Zach did not come when he said he would and instead came on a day when we were not home. Instead of putting in large rocks and concrete for the steps, his team put in 2" X 4" pavers and mulch. The stairs were very wobbly and not safe and looked nothing like we discussed. We ended up asking them to leave. My son and husband completed the stairs using stringers and wood over the course of two weekends. We also ended up buying more mulch and adding it to the bed that was supposed to have 3" of mulch.

Zack and his team did an outstanding job rebuilding a 6 foot tall retaining wall. They were very thorough, graded and re-sloped the yard and made sure that all new drains were installed. They also cleaned up the remains of the old retaining wall and planted new grass. Great communication, and would recommend to anyone. I will be hiring them again for more work.

Definitely will hire again. They showed up when they said they would and worked till the job was done. Very professional. Highly recommend.

ZR did an excellent job on our project which included a 40' long 2' mortared rock wall,140' or curb stone along our driveway, extending a 30" culvert along a ditch and back filling on top of it along with placement of 5 large boulders for retention of the ditch banks. The crew of 5-6 guys showed up promptly at 9am every day and worked hard until 4-5pm. They left my property clean and organized at the end of each day and kept their tools stowed off to the side. ZR's bid was competitive with the 2 other bids I had received and I am highly satisfied with the work. I plan to hire them again in the Spring for additional work and would definitely recommend them to my friends.

The young man, Tyler, who delivered the pea gravel I ordered was very polite and consistently answered and returned my phone calls promptly, great service!!

Zack and his team did a stupendous job transforming our driveway with fresh gravel, installing landscaping fabric, planting new shrubs and putting in river stone. They also regraded, mulched and replanted the slope in front of our fence. I would highly recommend their work to anyone! The price was excellent, too.

Giving this company 1-star is far too gracious !! Should be a ZERO* I suggest that U do your company search very carefully and do not be fooled by ZR's so-called 4.8 rating score. This company has destroyed our home's brand new driveway of just 3 1/2 months. We have a repair estimate from professional cleaning service in Asheville, NC that has deemed our driveway @ 75% damaged with spillage of hydraulic fluid & combined with dirty brown wet mulch stains. This combination is not going to be an easy task to remove and this not a final bill at $1,000. cleaning repair !!! The two geniuses power washing broke down, so they changed to push brooms and we now have "one helluva mess on our hands." ZR has allowed its two "stupervisors" to make several errors in judgment on our property. Most of their suggested methods used to remove water have "FAILED" and will require to be completely re-done over. Select landscaping company that this type of work is their main occupation, not being handled by "a Moonlighter"...we have a $25,000.+ loss in our dealings with ZR !!! There has not been any effort by ZR Landscaping to get back here & get their "screw up mess" fixed to our satisfaction. No on-site work has been performed by its Owner since 2-22-2018 which speaks for itself. The 4-man crew who worked on our property has had [3] employees no longer employed with this company !! Now that some scary stats !!!! There are so many areas of "costly mistakes made by ZR staff" that their poor workmanship has kept our backyard under water since late December, 2017. The entire area around our back screened in porch will require all of the 8+ inches of smelly mulch and sewer smelling soil removed and replaced with brand new top soil. It is a disgusting way of having to live. The ZR owner has elected to leave the job-site and has not returned. The Owner demanded supplemental bid payment of over $10,500.+ on 1-30-2108 and has yet to produce a single receipt for the charged out of materials ??? Owner whined that his crew needed their pay check to feed their families and would get them from his Secretary, who does not make any mistakes ?? Future Jobs: They accepted the challenge on this supplemental water issue, but obviously they were well over their heads !! They went from the initial paid bid of $6,780. to demanded supplemental cost of + $10,500. This writer has been researching the requested material costs and almost every item has been deemed overcharged. Example..we purchased 500 sq. feet of SOD charged @ $1,075. by ZR... NO Receipt provided but check demanded !!! We just had competitor who informed us that he would replace the non-existent 300 lbs of grass seed that we were charged for by ZR with new SOD for $525. for same amount of 500 sq. feet. Contractor pointed out flaws in the front lawn's soil condition that he correctly stated was not properly tilled. I went back to my respective bids and informed him that the sam

Due to low hanging trees they were unable to spread all the gravel in one pull out, so they made several small piles that made it easier for me to spread. Very helpful and accommodating.

When I was calling around for help with a grading and parking pad job, ZR was incredibly responsive and polite, even though we took our time with the hiring. That won him the bid. We set some pretty stringent parameters on timing which he was able to meet. We ran into some unexpected issues (surprise! more concrete than we knew about) and had to work out how to handle it. Zack bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied with the final product, and it really does look fabulous.

Did a great job and they communicated with me and were here pretty much when they said they would be. Very happy.

They are definitely professional. Work ethic is above reproach. They are trustworthy and great to work with. They always make sure you are satisfied and they did what you wanted. Will definitely hire again.
