Representative came when promised and the quote was delivered personally the next day.

As far as the price and how fast they got the work done was great. Actually got it done faster than they said. The bad parts is they tried to charge me for 3 sheets of plywood and they only used 2. They also left nails new and old all over the place and One of the new nails ended up in my tire on my truck. The tire is $365 dollars so I gave them the bill for it when he came and did the final inspection. It has been three weeks now and no response from them about it. I have called them and it goes to a call center.

Years after the service, I had Rikard Construction come out to look at my roof. They found that LOVE HOME IMPROVEMENTS INC used 1 and 1/2 inch nails, when they should have used 3 inch nails. Rikard charged $1,600.00 to make repairs. Beware of this company and make sure they have the right supplies needed for a project.

Arrived on time as scheduled. Set up scaffolding to access 2nd story. Job completed in less than 2 days. Even cleaned the entire area - an extra done just because it looked better, which shows they take pride in their work. Initially had communications issues, but were sorted out beautifully.

they were very nice and quick to come out and provide estimate however the pricing was extremely high for what needed to be done. didn't hire them.

The man that came out mistakenly began drilling holes and the door was being placed backwards. We called them, they were very apologetic. My husband felt bad and made a compromise. The man fixed the door. They lowered our bill to compensate for the mistake. This made us really happy that they took our feelings into consideration. They checked back to make sure we were satisfied, which is nice. They also send out a newsletter to let us know they are here for us. It feels more than a business transaction. It means more to me that they care about their customers. The also participate in charities. I will use them again.

Good job for competitive price. When unexpected additional damage was discovered to band seal, the extra per ft cost was exactly as quoted beforehand. When inspector came by afterwards and determined additional spackling and another coat of paint was needed on kitchen ceiling, did not hesitate to send technician back another morning to fine tune for desired result. Workmen were polite, professional, and took care to minimize any mess. Was positively impressed, would use them again and recommend to others.

The consultant who came out to examine my roof and provide an estimate was very prompt, professional and friendly!! He was very helpful in dealing with all the insurance stuff.

Love Home Improvements was great to work with. I was having trouble with vultures on top of my storage building. I had heard of bird spikes, but didn't know much about them. Betty Love completely researched this subject, talking to the manufacturer several times. They installed the spikes in a very professional manner, and offered to come back if my problem was not solved. I could not have asked for better service and I have not had a vulture on top of my building since the spikes were installed.

It took a few emails to the company to get things going but when the job started it progressed very well. While they were working on the above project, we developed a leek in the roof. The owner of the company, John stopped by the day after I discovered the leak in the roof. I was telling him that the roof was leaking and I knew where it was coming from. He said that he would go up on the roof and check it out. He went and got some materials and repaired the leak and replaced a couple of shingle tabs. That same night we had a hard rain storm and there were no leaks. As for the new windows and the deck and stairs, we love them. It really improved the outside of our home. Melvin, that did the majority of the work, did a great job. He was very personable and professional. They warranty their work for ten years, which is hardly heard of today.

We had a bit of shenanigans with them. They’re fairly professional and the job that they wanted to do is quite good. There was a mix up in communication and they put the wrong roof on. They blamed us for not communicating what we wanted correctly when in fact we told them from the very start what we wanted to have done and the type of roof we wanted. It didn’t cross my mind that I have to reiterate that to them. They placed orders and hadn’t reconfirmed it so they got the wrong shingles and put the wrong roof on. We then have to negotiate a price for them to take it off and replace it with the correct roof. It cost us an extra $2,000 for that. We also had to call them out because there was a leak and it’s got like a 10-year guarantee. They came out to check the leak. I also noticed that some of the shingles are not laid quite the way they should be. Where they’re supposed to be sealed and glued together, they are not in some cases. Their price was reasonable and apparently offered a better service at the time. Initially, the roof looked pretty good. Subsequently, it seems to be showing some signs of not good workmanship.

Their price was reasonable. I like the representative that I worked with. He was very conscientious and responsive. I also feel like he's very honest. They did a good work, and they cleaned up well. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I am very satisfied with their work. They were clean and professional. They cleaned up well after themselves as well. Todd Kinlaw gave us the estimate and he was great. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was several months after the storm before our roof could be replaced, but there were many, many homeowners in front of us, so it was no fault of Love Home Improvements. Once they were out here, everything went well and they did a nice job.

The customer service for getting an estimate and landing the contract is outstanding. The sales person that attended us, Tod Kinlaw, was very thorough, professional and enthusiastic. Part of the sales pitch is that the crew is professional, neat and would haul-off all debris. The clean-up was to be 1st class with a 3 lb magnet being rolled over the premesis. We were also told that any molded/warped plywood would be photographed so that we would know that we weren't being charged unnecessarily for replaced plywood. The actual experience of having the roof installed was less than satisfactory. We weren't living in the house while the roof was being replaced and it's a good thing because the yard was a mess! Even after the job was complete there was debris (plywood sheets and nails, lots of roofing nails scattered, roofing paper and shingles in the bushes) on the property. When I emailed to express my concern and to complain, Tod said that it would be taken care of and it was, in part. The plywood debris was taken away, but roofing paper, shingles and nails were still about the house. In 6 months of living in this house, I have had 2 flat tires via roofing nails! I called just a couple of days ago to share this disheartening occurrence and Tod sent two fellows out to go over our property once again with the 3 lb magnet. I'm happy that they were so immediate in responding in that regard. Another complaint is that on their listing via Angie's List it states that all forms of payment are accepted, but that's not so. We had to be issued a check by the credit card company to pay for the roof, rather than a straight credit card charge. They should be clear about what forms of payment they will or will not accept, from the beginning (at the contract signing).

Contractor was very professional. He maintained communication with me and responded to all questions. He was very accommodating and promptly finished the work needed.

Went really well and everything turned out as good or better than I expected. Took a little longer than I expected, but they worked around my schedule so it wasn't a problem. They made sure to get my input on everything they did so it wouldn't be a surprise when the work was completed. Overall, they were very good at what they did and would use them again. Johnny is very flexible and responsive. Great company and employees.

I had the company come to my house to fix a roof leak and when they were there I had them look at some garage door trim that needed repaired. The individual said they could fix that also. He gave me an estimate and the crew was out there the next morning fixing that.

I used Angies List to locate the company. I called them at about 1:00pm about a leak in my roof. They were at my house within an hour and repaired 5 shingles and were done by 4:30 pm. I had them give me an estimate on another problem and they will be back this week to make that repair. They were not only very fast, they give a 1 year leak warranty on their repairs.

Sorry I'm so late with this. I asked Love to send someone over to inspect my roof and give me an estimate for any work to be done. The shingles were pretty old, so I wasn't surprised when he said it all needed to be replaced. The Love representative gave me a detailed briefing on what they would do. They do not skimp; they use six nails per shingle to ensure they'll stay put. They also cut the roof up to accommodate a ridge vent, and they installed covers over the openings in the attic walls so the ridge vent would be more effective. They did a decent job in cleaning up and removing old shingles, etc. AFter the work was completed, the head man came to inspect the job to ensure it was done properly. The price is comparable to other estimates I received.

It went great, they did great work. They reason with you. They helped tear down a chimney for me as well. The owner is a trustworthy person and would use him again in the future. I had a roof leak a year or two ago, it was out of warranty but he came out and repaired it for free.

In any dealings with contractors, details written down about what is to be done and how much each item will cost is imperative. As good as Love's was, there was a fascia we forgot to get down in original quote. Ask for an itemized quote with price per job component as well as total. Ask up front, before you sign start and end dates. Be as clear as possible in describing your needs. I will do business with Love in the future.
