I had to pay $75 for removal for that. They did a good job, but price was a little high I thought. Otherwise, a good experience.

Efficient and friendly. A truck load of stuff is not very much, however. Ended up paying twice as much what I had contracted via Angie's List

Prompt, polite, punctual. I used an Angie's list deal, for price noted above. I would call this company again, if the need arose - a pleasant experience, all around.

They came out completed the work. They were efficient and courteous and I was very satisfied with the experience.

Using an Angie's List Deal, we had Junk King come to our house. They removed a basketball goal (didn't know how we were going to get rid of it before Junk KIng came), sports equipment, dog crate, plastic dog house, old yard equipment, weights, boards and more. It was great! Our junk filled up the truck more than we had paid for using our Angie's List Deal ($59.00) so I paid $40.00 extra. It was well worth the money! I would use Junk King again. When they left, they even gave us a coupon for another visit.

Junk King was fairly easy to work with in terms of scheduling and completing the project. The only hiccup is the reference to scheduling on their website does not allow you to identify you are an Angie List Big Deal purchase. So you end up getting a quote which has nothing to do with the Big Deal. I suggest just call directly even though the Big Deal instructions are to go to the website to schedule your appointment. Other than the scheduling hiccup, the gentlemen who came to the house were polite, careful not to damage walls and doorways and actually told me that I had more room to use if there was anything else I would like hauled away. The company provided an very nice overall experience.

Called Junk King to see how soon they could pick up about 10 sheets of 4x8 demolished sheet rock and that it would be considered as one regular pick-up truck load. Their availibility fit my needs and made an appointment during initial inquiry. I informed them that I would purchase a Angie's list deal for 1 pick-up truck load for $89. Customer service rep was agreeable to this and said that he would make a note of this on their system. Junk King pick person called me about 45 min before arrival as requested, but said that since it was sheet rock there would be an extra charge. He said that the regular cost is $196 and I would need to pay for the difference, per the fine print on the Angie's list coupon. I informed him that this was not brought to may attention when I booked the pick-up and clearly informed their customer rep that I had sheet rock debris. I told him to just not bother comming since $196 was too high for a truck load of sheet rock debris. Junk King pick up person said that since they were enroute that he could do it for $128. Since I urgently needed to get the sheet rock hauled away and already had taken a 1/2 day off of work, I agreed although I felt it seemed like a bait & switch scheme. Junk King arrived as scheduled, put the sheet rock debris in their truck and sweept up the debris too small to pick up by hand. I gave them the Angies list coupon, the pick up person read it and said that since the $89 coupon was for $169 worth of service and the fine print did not clearly state that sheet rock was excluded (it stated rocks, sand, appliances, and other thinks but not sheet rock) that he would accept the coupon for services rendered. He explained to me that they offer may coupons and some coupons that clearly state the debris that are included in the deal. I understood his position and he mine. In the end, I was a satisfied customer and Junk King didn't have a cancelled pick up. I believe the Junk King pick up person made a good business decision based on the situation. Overall Junk King's service was timely and met my expectations and I would recommend them. However, I will be extra careful to discuss an exclusions on pricing if I have a need to use them again.

We did not have any issues scheduling and they actually arrived a little early for the appointment. However, my wife and I had piled all the junk into the garage and all they had to do was back the truck into the garage and take it. The truck was so big they couldnt fit it into the garage.They did not sweep out the garage like the deal stated. There were 2 people hauling the junk away and it took about 20 minutes to complete. One of the guys was very helpful and the other was not so much.

The service was just fine. They removed some junk for us prior to a move. There were 2 guys who came out and it took them about 2 hours. I was satisfied with their service.

Had a lot a Christmas and other boxes, some junk garden stuff and other miscellaneous junk that clogged the garage. Not a large amount but would take me several or more trips to the recycling center and not great for my car . They were punctual, efficient and professional. The cleanout took about 20 minutes. Very cost effective from my point of view. We can now use the garage again! Would use again and recommend their service.

Overall experience was great considering I picked the wrong city. The service provider was responsive, helpful and positive. I will look at using their sister company in Minneapolis. Also very happy with Angie's List help in resolving the situation.

One thing that I liked is that they charge by the 1/8 fraction of the truck and they utilized every inch of space on the truck. It was approximately $428.00 for the full truck for us.

Bought deal last night, but garbage service picked up today. Let Junk King know, very nice and good communication.

The whole process was fast and very effective. No issues. The Guys were on time, professional and very courteous. Will definitely use them again.

Very nice would hire again. Time given to be there was not met but they kept calling and keeping me informed that the job before mine was taking longer than expected. Gave 11 to 1 and arrived at 2 took 40 minutes to do job and the were very professional and polite and asked I take a look before they left to insure it was done to my satisfaction.

Incredible! I expected a guy with a truck and an attitude. What a pleasure when two young men showed up, eager to work. I thought that they'd pass out (or at least complain) when they saw how much stuff they needed to haul. Instead, they attacked the job and got it done efficiently, cleanly and without any damage to walls, stairs, etc. as they hauled things out. My job ended up being a full large truckload plus 2/3 of another truck. They had to go empty the first load and return, which amazingly only took an hour! I definitely recommend these guys -- brilliant!

Junk King was AWESOME! After purchasing the coupon I was able to schedule a pick up for the following week. A representative from Junk King called me the day before the pick up to confirm the time and then also called about 30mins prior to arriving to let me know they were on the way. They arrived on time and made really short work of getting the stuff loaded up. They were friendly and professional. After they were finished they handed me a coupon for any future needs and were on their way. they were here a total of 25mins. I would recommend them to anyone who has unwanted items they need removed. I really appreciate the great job the guys did.

It went okay. Service was acceptable. They didn't do anything wrong. To be fair, I had previously used the King and Queen of Junk, and I selected the King of Junk in error. My previous experience with the King and Queen of Junk was better. In that case, a single woman came and hauled away a larger load on a small trailer for a smaller price and never quibbled about either the size of load or the price. The King of Junk sent two hardy young guys and a huge truck and increased the price before they picked up the first item. The deal did specify a load size, and they felt that my job exceeded, so I don't think they "cheated." They took longer to laod the truck, too, but they were always courteous and friendly. In short, they didn't do a bad job at all, and the price wasn't outrageous. I wouldn't discourage anyone from using them, but personally, I'll call the King and Queen of Junk next time.

They had done work for me the day before to clean up brush and debris so I purchased the deal for them to come out the following day. I was impressed with their scheduling and that they arrived right on time.

The people were very nice. They did a professional job. They were fast and thorough. Very careful in the house.
