Bulwark Exterminating

It went really well. The company followed back up with us and we have been talking about getting having an annual contact with this company.

The appointment was same day as the purchase of the Deal from Bulwark via Angie's List. The technician explained what he would be doing and then proceeded to complete the work.

They were so good that we have decided to use them on a quarterly basis

It went well. Scheduled in timely manner, procedures explained in detail. Arrived on time. Would use again.

When deciding on a pest control company I called a few to discuss coverage, maintenance, etc. Bulwark was very informative and the appointment set up was simple. The man that came to complete our service was on time. However he borrowed a screwdriver (for the in wall treatment) and kept the tool, he backed into a rock wall when he left causing damage and didn't even get out to look at the damage to alert me of the damage, we were his 9am appt and he used our water to mix the treatment chemicals - he broke a hose timer, lastly he was supposed to remove all cob webs but several were found after he left. I called in the damage and the company was very apologetic and paid for the damages quickly and sent another tech to clean all the cobwebs. I wanted to like this company and give them another chance. We started seeing a lot of spiders a few weeks after the original treatment so we called them to re-treat some areas. The man that came out walked up and said "what is wrong this time" - WHAT?! There are too many companies out there to give attitude! Moving on to a new pest control company.....

The first treatment went really well. They accommodated my schedule really well. Came out and sprayed a day before a BBQ we were hosting. I think I noticed a big down-tick in mosquitoes in backyard. I asked them if we needed to schedule the next 2 treatments, and they said we didn't. That they would just come out and spray on their own - they'd load it in the calendar and do it proactively. That's what they did. I appreciated that.

Appointment was scheduled in 1-hr increments; tech arrived promptly at the hour. Tech was matter-of-fact, listened to my concerns about an organic flower bed near the house and did not spray it. I haven't seen the roach since. :)

It was a fine. We had a scheduling problem but we were able to resolve it. There were no additional charges. I have had them before and they are great except for timing. They said they will call me 30 minutes before and they did not. They came right away though.

It's an ongoing thing but it's fine. They did perform as agreed upon.

There aren't a lot of details concerning the work, it was pretty straight forward. However, the company and the its business acumen were very professional and courteous. He even took off his shoes so as not to soil the carpets as he went around the home. I felt totally comfortable allowing him the run of the house. I went upstairs to do some computer work, and the man called upstairs and asked permission before coming upstairs. There was not high pressure sales talk to get repeat business. He laid out what services his company offered and just said give him a call with whatever my decision was. He was on time and ready to work. A very likeable fellow.

The technicians was courteous and prompt. He appeared to do a thorough job and was willing to explain what he was doing. Despite the heat and humidity, he did not show any sign of hesitation for crawling under the house and treating there as well. The only very small complaint was that the company agreed to call before he arrived, but no call was made. Overall, an excellent experience.

I bought the deal off Angie's List and this company couldn't be more professional. I will definitely use them in the future.

It went fine. They are efficient. They are on time. They do the job. There was point, a few months back, where they had discount and I called them and they honoured my discount and put it in the remainder of my contract. I am so happy with them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. The person that came the first time was great in all respects. The person that came the second time came earlier than he was supposed to. For whatever reason, we didn't connect. Bulwark was great but one of the people they sent out just wasn't up to snuff. It wasn't one of the regulars, it was somebody that was filling in. The price was a bargain. It was a Big Deal so that cut the price and then they came back a second time at no charge. They did everything they could do. I live in a forest and it is very difficult to control these kinds of things. They did everything they could do but the situation is leaving me with Palmetto bugs in the house right at this very moment. I can't fault them. I would love if they would come out one more time for the Palmetto bugs but I can't complain because we certainly got our money's worth. They were very professional.

It was fine. I used them for a Big Deal and then they came one other time after that for a follow up. They did what they said they were going to do. They were friendly.

It did not turn out great. We went with them recently because they provided a service that is environmentally friendly. He told me the service would take half an hour and it ended up taking an hour into when I was supposed to leave. I sat in my car and I asked him if he did the basement. He said he did. I told him I am not okay with leaving my garage door open. He said he will spray inside the garage door and I did not know that he had unlocked the exterior garage door. I called and they came back and did a second treatment. A week later I was still seeing roaches. They sent another guy and he sprayed and I was still seeing roaches. They have good customer service except for one person. I did not like the results of the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. $200 was a lot to set a bunch of mouse traps. The property is vacant and we haven't seen any mice over there. There was a hole where I thought mice were coming through and they didn't see it so I pointed it out to him. He said that I could stuff some steel wool in it. It was very hard to get to. I am not able to climb and you can tell that by looking at me. I told him he could do it and he said he didn't know if they did that. I called the owner and he said that the guy that came was new to the company and he didn't know that you do whatever you need to do. He told him to do the work, which he did. He sent a greenhorn out. The quality was fine once we got past that little problem. The quality was fine. The owner was certainly professional. The initial service was provided by a new member of their team and was not entirely successful but a call to the owner resulted in immediate correction.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. The service turned out very well. The service was good all around. The price was very reasonable.

It was fine and worked out pretty good. We had some mosquitos, but it was not as bad as it would normally be. The only problem that I had is that they sent me a note after I purchased their service stating that they would contact me to get the service lined up in the next couple of days. However, they never contacted me so I contacted them back saying I had reminded them that I needed service before Labor Day. They came out Saturday before Labor Day so they made sure they were here. When I first called them I kind of got a run around on the phone when they switched me to different departments. The scheduling was the part that was a little bit of a bumpy thing for me. The price was great, but the customer service was lacking. He was punctual and was here right when he said so that was professional.

It was okay. They actually came twice. It was one of those things where we could pay for it at a discounted rate. The guy came in and it was a pretty quick run through both externally and internally. We didn't have major bug problems but we certainly had some and wanted to get the house sprayed professionally. It wasn't like that I felt great about how thorough they were. I've seen a few bugs since they sprayed but nothing dramatically less. I wouldn't recommend them. It was a wham bam. They did spray but it was a service that I would want to go back to. They came pretty quick.

There were no additional charges for the service. We are never around when they do it. My wife’s comment is that they should schedule so we are here so we can talk to them about what they are doing. They just show up and leave and we have no idea. We are not sure if we are going to use them again in the future, maybe not.

Chris was very professional and courteous. He really likes his job and it shows. I was impressed with the flexibility of the office/phone staff on the scheduling part. I was able to get someone out within a few days of scheduling. I really like that they will come back if we see any activity - at no charge - before our next treatment.

The technician arrived ontime and was very friendly. He explained the process of what he was doing and how it worked. I also signed up for the re-application every two months. The re-application is just to the exterior of the house. I get an email about a week before the technician is scheduled. If we are not home when they come by, they perform the service and leave a door hanger detailing what was applied. Since contracting with Bulwark, we haven't seen a single bug in the house. I would definitely recommend their services.

They came and it was fine, only had the exterior completed at the time since I didn't want to expose a new baby to the chemicals. Bulwark called a couple weeks later to ask how things were, which I appreciated. I told them we were still having issues outside and that we had only done the exterior. They offered to come back out at no charge to spray again and to do our garage. They said they would call me back with an appointment time, but never called back. I haven't been able to get them to commit to coming back out since that call.

Work as I expected! Good service!
