Bulwark Exterminating

They always notify you of the date and time that they’re coming. They knock on the door to let you know that they’re there. I have seen 1 spider, 1 roach, and no mice since they started coming last year. I’ve also referred them to friends.

Whatever we asked them to do, they did, and boy, we were happy to get rid of those ants! It was good to have them take care of the outside. They were very helpful at a time when we needed assistance, and we didn't have to wait. We probably won't need to use their services again.

Quite happy with the technician and treatment. Price was great and independent of Angie's List Deal are good, they were prompt and responsive. Offered very good deals on their own. I am now on a bi-monthly treatment program. Technician even took his shoes off before he came in! I don't feel like they try to oversell and are very honest.

When I called them, they came right out and did the service. I'll give them an overall grade letter of A.

They are treating a tough problem with pests. All the techs have been professional and thorough. Daryl has gone above and beyond explaining what he is doing and what we need to do. We like him so much, we plan to continue service on a regular basis.

Great company, very professional

It was okay, it didn't help much. We had an ant invasion and it didn't do much for that. We put up something else later and that helps better. It is a bit difficult for them on the outside to contain the ants, but it was not a big success though. They did a lot of work diligently. It was a bit of overkill and it killed more than I think it was necessary and it didn't kill them. They are punctual. I probably would not use them in the future.

Had some confusions but the management resolved the issue.

First application seemed to work for a few days, but then we heard the mosquitoes buzzing again; called Bulwark, they returned promptly and did a second spraying that ended the bugs.

Overall got what was paid for. Some of the exterior wall outlets were missed but for $68 I can't really complain. Update 01/23/2015- Tech came back out to clarify provided service and to resolve any concerns I had regarding missed outlets. He was very professional and courteous and went above & beyond my expectations to resolve my concerns.

I purchased an offer on Angie's list and contacted Bulwark Exterminating. They were very friendly and scheduled and appointment that works for my schedule. The exterminator arrived promptly on time and was very detailed on explaining what he is going to do and why. He spent a lot of time inside and outside the house and didn't mind me suggesting he apply the pest spray in few other places. After the work was done, he gave me list of the chemicals he used and what bugs/insects will be affected. All in all, it was a very good experience and I just hope the price is a little cheaper. I would definitely recommend Bulwark to anyone and would use their services again for the right price. PS: The price I quoted above ($68) is an approximate amount but it was definitely around that number. The service date is also some time in September/October. Thanks !

It was fine. We were having trouble with cockroaches and he sprayed all around the windows and baseboards and outside the house. We had to reschedule because on the day that we had the appointment, it was raining. He was fine to reschedule and come back to do the work later.

Two technicians came onsite and were quick to explain the services they were providing and to answer any questions I had. They both worked very quickly to conduct the service. After completing their work, they explained the services provided and the invoice information along with providing an explanation of other services they provide. All in all, a great experience and I would certainly use them again or recommend them to others. It's been a full month since the application of pesticides and I have not seen any insects in the home or crawlspace.

They were very professional. It took 4 visits to vanquish the ants, but they told me it might, and it was all included in the price. Each time they were prompt, efficient and courteous.

We contacted Bulwark as a result of an Angie's List deal. The technician who came to our home was very nice and described the process as he applied the pest product. However, we did not want to or ever intend to use Bulwark for annual pest treatment (there annual treatment is every two months for $74). I stressed this to two different technicians (one returned as promised for an additional treatment due to unresolved issues from the first application) as well as a woman who called to schedule our next application. I explained to her that we were not participating in the annual program and therefore did not schedule a time for them to come out. She said she would correct our file. This did not happen. As a result, a Bulwark technician treated the exterior of our home. I called and spoke with someone again and he pulled/corrected our file. I informed him that we were not going to pay for the service as we did not request it. He had some displeasure in his voice but agreed. So... if you use Bulwark and do not intend to use their annual service, make sure you state this clearly in writing. It seems that otherwise like many programs, it is automatic service that you have to opt out of.

I called them back on a number of occasions to follow up due to returning cockroaches. Joel, the technician that came out, was very nice and very considerate. I felt that he did a good job. He was careful with where he sprayed and continued to come out during the 60 day guarantee period. The Big Deal came with a guarantee was for 60 days and the cockroaches were still not gone at the end of that period. I called him back after the guarantee and he said they wouldn't come back since the guarantee had expired. He suggested to purchase the long term package so they would keep coming back. When I tried to schedule the deal that I had purchased, they kept trying to sell me on a long term deal. I almost felt like they wouldn't schedule me for the deal unless I purchased the long term contact. I would not use them again in the future due to the man in office that seemed to only be interested in a long term contract.

Bulwark was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Afterwards, owner called me to see if everything went well and I told him that our ant problem was resolved and our spider problem as well. I will definitely use them again, for routine maintenance of my property!

Excellent. No hassle. They showed up when they said they would, performed the services as purchased and followed up to make sure there were no issues with each treatment. The yard was mosquito free for the summer and it was wonderful. Would do it again next year...
