Bulwark Exterminating

Called initially for roaches. Gone for 6 months as claimed.

First time the technician sprayed outside and inside. the spiders,ants and other crawlers were still present. called back after a 7-10 days to say that the treatment was not effective. second technician came to spray again. He told me the treatment is ineffective for spiders.

Took the time to answer all questions.

I bought a 6 month service deal for rodent extermination. The deal included sealing openings which rodents can use to enter the house (crawl space in our case). We had two or three loose mesh screens on vent grills in our foundation but a man which came to put the traps around said that he will not repair entryways. He only stuck his stainless steel scrubbing pad between a brick in a foundation wall and a pipe. I did not ask why they included fixing openings if they do not want to do it. I thought that it is not worthy insisting because he looked like he is in a hurry and would not be able to do a good job fixing the screens. The man said that they will come in some time (probably in six weeks or so) to change poison in those black plastic boxes/traps. We scheduled their coming. They said it is not necessary for anybody to be home. I am a stay-home mom and was home all day out of curiosity. Wanted to see if there were mice in a trap or how that poison looks. But did not notice anybody coming. So, I decided to do try to see if we can do it ourselves next time before rushing into buying those deals. If you work and are super busy then prepare to make some additional calls, insisting they do everything they included in a deal, and find ways of making sure they actually did the job. The date of service is approximate.

It turned out fine. I have no problem. They came out last week. Regarding the price, I really don't know because I don't handle the bills. The quality is good. I would definitely use them in the future.

Bulward reps laid down both a spray and solid barrier around the inside and outside of our walls. Within days the ants were gone and we noticed ''bodies'' of other bugs for a day or two. Now it is September and we have seen no bugs since. We expect that may change as the weather cools and pests head toward warmer environs in our wooded area. We will call Bulward again if needed. When we purchased the house in 2008, the owner was having a monthly termite treatment. Our inspection found no termites or termite damage so we discontinued it. I asked Bulwark to inspect again and they found nothing of concern. We were not charged for the inspection.

Technician did not show for the first appointment. Had to reschedule. Otherwise, I like the results seem to be good and effective.

We had seen a few cockroaches in the last month, so we bought a "big deal" from Angie's List and Bulwark's. I spoke with Bulwark's employee Garrett several times on the phone, and he got us on the schedule within 10 days (it would have been sooner except for my personal scheduling issues). Then on the day of the appointment, Jeremy arrived right on time. He was pleasant and professional, starting with a walk around the outside of the house, assessing problem areas (he found an active wasp nest that we hadn't noticed). He explained the treatment, explained that it was safe for pets, and completed the inside and outside treatment in about 30 minutes. My husband and I were very pleased with his service.

Very nice professional young man came out but was only here a total of about 20 mins at most, seemed too fast to do a great job, I know that they may need to come back out but thought I should see a difference, but ants are still all around deck and pool area.

The Bulwark technician did a great job! My kitchen was bombarded by ants on a regular basis. There were also ants that had formed hills near my home and were all over the front porch. I haven't seen any since their visit.

He was ontime on a Saturday morning. Did the job and was gone. No evidence of any wasps since.

The inspection was careful and thorough. The technician offered to use a precautionary chemical treatment, which was declined.

The exterminator was here on time and went over my problem with an invasion of ants. . He explained that he would spray around the inside of my house including in a couple of wall sockets where they tend to live and then around the outside. He also said it wouldn't harm my dogs but to keep them away for 30 minutes.. He said that should take care of it and if not then we could call them within 60 days to come back for further treatment. Well I saw 1 or 2 after a day or so and then by the 3rd day they were back in full force. They sent a different guy over very quickly and after asking what the first guy did he explained that he should have gone a step further to give the ants a poison in the way of a small clear gel that is sweet but when they take it back to their nest it kills the whole population. He found they were hiding inside the back of my microwave so he put a small dab of the gel on the cord at the entrance to the back of the microwave and around my kitchen. It was unnerving to see the ants swarm over that sweet gel for a day or 2 but then they just disappeared. It's been more than 2 weeks and I haven't seen any ants or any type of insect in the house at all. Great customer service and very professional. I will definitely call them again if needed.

I was very impressed with Bulwark Exterminating. I bought the deal on Angie's List on a Thursday, and was contacted by Bulwark the same day. They were able to service my home within two days, and on a Saturday! I loved not having to take off work for this! The technician arrived on time, and explained what he would be doing. He sprayed in the outlets in all of the rooms, and then sprayed a five foot perimeter around the house. He reminded me to keep kids and pets off the outdoor area until it dried. He also treated a couple of areas in the yard (ant mounds, spiders, etc) and cleaned the webs and creepy crawlies from under the eaves. I was very pleased with the service. Bulwark does not require a contract, and suggested that they come back every two months for about $75 to perform outside service only. It's a little more often and a little more expensive than I was paying my previous exterminator, but I plan to use them for another visit or two before I decide for sure whether to keep using them, since I don't yet know how well the outside only service will take care of my needs. Overall, I am very happy with the service and would recommend them to others.

We used the coupon provided on Angie's List. We used Bulwark 2 years ago and were satisfied then. They showed up on time, did the work, and left when completed. I would use them again.

They spray for 10-15 minutes. They did what we want. They got rid of the mosquitoes. We had a continuing contract with them.

Great service. Randall the technician was on time, very personable, & did an excellent job on indoor/outdoor treatment of the house. I would highly recommend this company & technician.
