They came when they said they would and cleaned out my septic tank.

When I eliminated other causes, and deduced that my septic tank had probably been the cause of a slow-to-flush commode. I dug out and lifted the cap on the tank to confirm, then called Bobby Davis based on their proximity and their ratings on Angie's List. They were here within 2 hours and gone within 3. I had also checked HomeAdvisor.com regarding average price for the service, so I was pleasantly surprised when the invoice was for $110 less than average. (My having dug it up and backfilled the hole may have helped with the price, but I didn't seek confirmation of that.) The work was done by the owner's very friendly son.

We had scheduled a 10am appointment, nobody came or called for almost 3 hours after 10AM. I was lucky to have the day off, but I did have to reschedule another appointment that I had for 1PM, which was not appreciated. When they did show up, they were quite possibly the two most grumpy and out-and-out unpleasant men I'd ever dealt with. I said Hello, they said literally no words at all to me. Wow. So, to the job...I'd had the tank pumped a few years earlier and was pretty sure the location, but they couldnt locate the access. So they dug and dug until they found it. I'd decided they were going to say nothing at all to me, like i was a d*** nuisance, so I'd given them space. They pumped the tank. I'd ask how filled up the tank was. He said, "Not too bad". It was amazing, 3 actual words. $235 later they were gone and now I don't have to call them back ever again.

Very Responsive and Professional. Came within one day of calling. Had them come back to pump out the two holding tanks the next day. Charge for pumping the two tanks was $400.

I gave him a call when my septic alarm was going off after seeing his ad on Angie's List. He was in the area and was pretty quick to stop by the house. He hit the ground running. Tested some electrical connections and replaced a breaker. That seems to have fixed the problem. Glad he was able to help and address/solve the problem quickly. All in, it took him less than an hour to deal with the problem after he got here. Good guy.

Everything went well from the initial phone call through the completion of the job. He arrived on time and worked efficiently until the pumping was complete. I mentioned that I needed a new concrete riser cover. He said that he could provide one, and quoted me a very reasonable price. It was delivered and installed the next morning. It was a very good experience!

Everything went well. The provider arrived when expected, worked diligently, and cleaned out our septic system. He did a great job and we were pleased with his work. We would definitely hire this provider again!

He also recommended another person to service the pump.

About a week after my inquiry they called me and showed up to the house. They took all the indo and gave me a verbal estimate, which I agreed to. They had the utilities in my yard painted but never showed up or even called to explain why no one showed up.

I called on Thursday afternoon to schedule a septic tank cleaning, and they arrived the next day promptly at noon as scheduled. They probed the area around the septic tank, and dug to locate the riser above the Septic tank inlet. They lifted the riser cap, then the septic tank cap, and pumped the tank. All the while they explained what they were doing and why. When done, they replaced the dirt and grass, and hosed down the sidewalk. The whole operation from when they arrived until cleanup took about an hour and 10 minutes. Overall, I'm very pleased with the experience and the results.

Bobby did good work on maintenance of my septic system and a reasonable cost. Several months ago, my county came out to my property and gave me a "report card" on maintenance of my septic system. Bobby reviewed the report card with me, identified what part would be done more cost-efficiently by a landscaping person (clearing the drain field), identified one part that was an unnecessary recommendation, and did everything else that was asked, and made sure I was pleased with the job.

Bobby Davis Septic Tank Services pumped out 2 septic tanks on my property and did a primary inspection of each tank and system to make sure they were working properly. Making the appointment was easy, and I spoke with the owner. He set up an appointment time and his crew arrived on time and prepared to work. Within minutes they located the buried service access for both tanks and opened them. One of the two tanks was a very long distance from the driveway and their truck, but they had the necessary equipment to reach the tank and pump it out without any problem. I was only able to give them a general idea of where the tanks were located, but they had no trouble probing and finding the tanks and their access lids. They confirmed that both tanks and systems were working properly. My home is 49 miles from the company's main office, which is just barely within their normal service area of 50 miles. They did not charge extra for coming such a long distance. The price charged was for 2 tanks to be pumped and checked, which I believe was a very reasonable. I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to others.

Contacted Bobby to do a septic inspection on 2/14 for property we were purchasing. He came out and discovered owners had built deck over area that needed to be inspected. He told me to contact him when it was down and he'd be back to inspect it. There were weather delays and delays due to contractor taking down wrong deck. Once it was all clear Bobby got his technician out within 2 days even though they were backlogged because of the recent bad weather. Technician was knowledgeable and explained his findings and recommendations.

It went well. They were fast. A little trouble getting them to come when they said they would but they showed up and fixed it pretty quickly. There's some settlement that needs to be regraded and I need to get them to come back and do that.

Fine. Owner did the inspection. It was a deep dig to the tank. My only slight complaint is that they could have done a better job recovering the tank with the grass.

Overall the work was done but there was not fantastic service. When I sent the email through Angie's List I received a return call from Bobby, the owner. He was helpful in suggesting some alterative options before having the tank emptied. We decided to go ahead and have it emptied and Bobby took all my contact details. I couldn't get a time to expect the service man other than between 12-4pm on the same day. Upon arrival the service man started work immediately which involved digging in the rain (on Christmas Eve no less). After about 30-40 minutes he gave up on digging and said that we would need to move some pavers before he could continue. We dug out the exact location before calling back two days later. Bobby indicated someone would be out the same day to pump the tank but couldn't give me a time, except that we were next on the list. I called back four hours later and was told the service men were on the way; unfortunately, the service men called and said they had issues and would be delayed by 1.5 hours. When the service men arrived, they went straight to work. My husband asked if we could determine how much was pumped (trying to understand if the tank was full, partially full, etc for our reference) and the response was "you'll hear it when it hits the bottom". A few other questions were asked but no helpful information was provided. The invoice was written and paid on-site; however, no discount (5% per the Angie's List listing) was indicated. Other reviewers indicated they paid around $150 for a pumping service with Bobby so I'm not sure why ours was $250.

Before buying a house, I paid for them to inspect its septic system and specifically asked for them to dig up the distribution box and check it (easy to do). Everything passed. Shortly after moving in, we started noticing an occasional smell outside. After a few months of it not going away, I had them come out to take a look and sure enough, the distribution box was shot (completely shot, and had been so for a very long time). Instead of owning up to the fact that they should have caught that, it was excuse after excuse. They did slightly discount the repair, but in hindsight, I?m sure I could have gotten a better price if I just had someone else do it.

He was very professional and did an excellent job. Told us what we needed to know for future use and cleaning. The price was wonderful.

I called and they came out the next day. The guys (Angel & Clifton) were professional and extremely nice. I was nervous because this was the first time it had been cleaned out and I was concerned about any problems they might find. They were very reassuring and explained everything to me and did not find any additional problems that needed fixing. They pointed out two minor issues that might need to be done in the future. I will definitely use them again in the future. I spoke with Bobby Davis also and found him to be very nice and very professional.

It went well. I called the company and set up an appt for three business days later, at the approximate time of 9:30 AM. They were there when they said they would be there, did the job as they said they would, and for the price they said they would charge. I have no reservations about them, and will gladly use them in the future the next time I need septic services.

He did come back out and at no charge and he said he would give us a free pump the next time we needed it. He is accommodating and I don't think it was him particularly I think it was person that was working for him. The kid that came out for him said that he is not working for him now. Good pricing.

I was having septic issues, and it was suggested that I had my septic tank cleaned out. I referred to Angie's List and based on the number of positive reviews selected Bobby Davis Septic Tank Service. I initially had some problems making contact with Bobby Davis Septic, but eventually was able to get a crew out here to investigate my issue. I was not sure where my septic tank was located, so the crew started "probing" my yard. (A probe is a long metal rod with a handle at the end that they stick into the ground looking for a solid contact to help find a septic tank). The crew spent some time attempting to locate it and eventually told me where my septic tank was located. Only issue (as the 2nd crew found out) was it was the *wrong* location. I then scheduled an appointment for Bobby Davis to come out and clean my septic tank (i.e. "get on their schedule"). Once again, there was some miscommunication but eventually a 2nd crew came out. They located the actual septic tank (not sure why the first crew indicated a wrong location for it), got access to it, and cleaned it out. I had no issue with the 2nd crew. They were very polite, friendly and let me watch. The job was completed, I used a coupon from their website and got a small discount, and I paid in full. The big issue I had, and I would advise anyone who has an irrigation system, is to indicate to any crew working in the yard that there is an irrigation system. I went to pressurize my irrigation system the weekend after the septic work was completed, and I was very shocked to find out that the crew had actually punctured a line in my irrigation system! I emailed and sent pictures to Bobby Davis Septic, and the owner agreed the puncture was indeed caused by a probe. I was able to fix the actual hole in the PVC pipe, but I had to have my irrigation company come out and flush out the line and repair the valve in that a specific zone that would not function properly due to dirt and debris entering the lines. It took 3 trips for the irrigation company to get the zone back into proper working condition. I emailed Bobby Davis, and after some discussion, we agreed to split the cost in 1/2.
