Bobby Davis Septic Tank Services

My septic tank was completely filled and was backing up my toilets. I called Bobby Davis the next morning and he had his guy, Chris, out here before 1pm to pump out the tank. The whole job took about an hour, complete with Chris finding and digging up the cover to the tank. (It's an old septic tank.) The only criticism I could give is that when Bobby answers the phone, he should at least say the company name. He just said, "Hello?" and I wasn't sure I had the right number at first. Chris was great. Real friendly guy who wasted no time getting the job done.

My son and I spent weeks trying to find someone to assist us with, and address our septic problems. Bobby Davis was our last hope / phone call. He came out almost immediately. He didn't shy away from the work like all the others. He listened to the issues, then provided an estimate and a work date. He and his crew showed up on time. Worked quickly and professionally and came right in on estimate. I could not have asked for things to go any better. They did not cut corners - they treated this home and yard as well as they would have their own. This is the way a business should run! A+ service all around! Thanks guys!

Bobby was top notch from start to finish. He came out right away to troubleshoot the issue and had a team out to fix it within a week (most of the time was waiting for gas and electric lines to get painted). His estimate was almost half of another contractor and the final bill was $50 less than his original estimate! Good dude, solid work, great price. Highly recommend him to others.

In the process of selling our home we discovered during an environmental inspection that our septic tank was not accessible. I contacted Bobby who came to my home and gave me some options as to what could be done. Per the county inspector the only option was to remove the old septic tank and place a new one. Bobby gave me an estimate for work and a completion date. There was some confusion on the completion date however that was largely due to a misunderstanding between the inspector and me so Bobby had to return to finish the job. He was able to complete all the necessary work within his original estimate. My major concern was having the work done without damaging the deck and Bobby was able to successfully complete the job without any damage to the deck. He was also very good at explaining how a septic tank works and the ways to keep it functioning efficiently over the years. I would use him again and would highly recommend him. The only problem that I encountered was getting in touch with him initially. His business is family owned and he supervises every job. Once I made contact with him, he provided me with his cell phone number so that I could get in touch with him more easily. He was also formerly an inspector so he was very familiar with the county codes and also knew the inspectors which seemed to aid in getting the inspections done in a timely manner.

The were willing to schedule the inspections at a time convenient for us with short notice. They arrived promptly and got right to work. they answered our questions and explained how everything worked and what might cause problems in the future. They had a good sense of humor and were fun to work with. As the tank covers were buried they had to dig up a small part of the yard but they left the area neat.

Ontime, did the job without any issues.

This was a very positive experience. The response was fast and the issue corrected. When the second problem bounced up there was also very fast response and the issue corrected. I will certainly use Bobby Davis going forward for any problems.

The weather was terrible when they came as it was pouring down rain. I'm not sure how long an inspection and pumping service takes, but they were in and out in under 5 minutes. That was to include an inspection and the pumping service. I asked how they could complete it so quickly and was told the vacuum system is commercial grade and extremely fast and efficient. I was told there were some tree roots growing in my system and I needed to use a root killing product and to continue using Rid-X every 3 months.

The techs (2) were knowledgeable and friendly and answered the questions I had concerning the upkeep required on the septic system. I was presented with the invoice and I issued a personal check in the amount of $235.00. I thought the price was reasonable and the service was performed without incident.

Contacted Bobby's Septic Service. Received an immediate response. After advising Bobby that we have 2 tanks and a pump he gave a quote of $235.00 if only one needed pumping and $400.00 if they had to clean both. He was able to come out the same day as the call. They arrived on time. Was able to park in street in front of the house because they had 200 feet of hose available. Pumped tank in less than 30 minutes. Checked 2nd tank and pump. We were advised that 2nd tank did not need pumping and the pump was in good condition. They answered our questions and gave us advice on maintaining the system. We would definitely hire again.

They did a good job. They did it quickly and easily. It was an half an hour job. They just got the job done like they were supposed to. I would use them again. Their price was good. I didn't have much to compare them with.

We considered this a very good experience. They were prompt, professional, advised us on what to do and not to do and answered all our questions.

It went perfectly. I explained that we had purchased a remodeled 1900's farm house 3 years back and had no indication of the septic system's last inspection or tank pumping. I spoke with Bobby Davis directly and scheduled a pumping and 'consultation', 2 days later. His serviceman arrived as scheduled and explained in detail the type of system and tank size, and made recommendations on upkeep and first steps to take should I wish to improve the system. Job was done professionally, no mess left behind. Truck was able to back onto the property directly to the riser with no restrictions. I paid upon job completion and received receipt on the spot. Though my system should function fine for years to come, I am confident in calling Bobby Davis for future service and I highly recommend them.

They were very responsive and set up a time while on the phone the first time. They came on time and did the job without fuss. He was also polite and resourceful in answering my questions. He even solved a problem that we had been having for years - a septic smell in the finished basement. He told me about the vents on top of the roof and keeping them cleaned out. The next day, I took some pieces of screen and duct tape and covered both vents. We have not had the problem since!

Tank truck arrived on time; driver came to the door to introduce himself; driver asked to review septic tank area and best access route; driver walked with me around site to discuss how he proposed to perform the work; driver unloaded all piping; driver connected piping; driver removed septic tank cover; driver pumped septic tank down to empty (aggitating slurry with a shovel as needed); truck replaced tank cover: driver disconnected piping; driver reloaded piping; driver prepared bill; driver processed credit card for payment; driver provided a paid invoice statement; and driver departed the site. Total time on site - approximately 2 hours. Quality of work was very good.

Called them in the am....they said either that afternoon or the next day. Truck arrived early and they called ahead of time to confirm. Workers were really nice and good mannered and took the time to find my tank and cap. They charged a bit extra because of the depth but it was worth getting it done. Truck was also clean and new. Great experience overall. Bobby's Crew is the best!

When my husband initially called he spoke directly to Bobby Davis and asked if he serviced our area, to which Bobby replied, "yes". It was not until it was time to pay that we learned that there was an additional fee because we were "out of their normal service area". That little surprise rubbed me the wrong way. I personally would not call them back because of the extra charge to come to my area. The guys that Bobby sent out to our house did do a good job and provided us with a lot of information regarding care and maintenance that we did not know about. They also advised us to reroute one of our rain gutter downspouts away from our septic tank. So, overall the service was very good but, again, we just didn't appreciate not being informed of the additional charge up front.

I called on Monday and they came the next day, calling in advance to make sure that it was okay. They spent the most time digging out the soil in the rain. Not a nice job. But both people were very polite and worked diligently. They indicated that installation of concrete risers would be beneficial to any future cleanings, and that the process would be less disruptive of my lawn. I agreed and they came back that afternoon and installed them and replaced the soil. In the process of backing their truck in my driveway, they accidentally went off the concrete and damaged a small section of grass. They apologized profusely and offered to fix it. I said I would do that while they were completing the installation. In return, they gave me a 25 dollar discount which I thought was very fair.
