A Step Above definitely went above and beyond to help us remodel our deck and reframe our doorway after the hurricane. They helped us work through a problem with the corner of our kitchen that was discovered during the remodel. The deck looks fantastic and we're happy to have a working door again. They were friendly, listened to our concerns, offered alternatives (especially in the cost area), did what they said they were going to do, efficient in their work, and tidy. I am very pleased with the work Matthew and his crew did at my home. Over the course of just a few days, they installed a new toilet and fixed the subfloor in my bathroom, tore down a large deck and above ground swimming pool, and replaced all the facia board and reinstalled the gutters around my house. Matthew and his crew were very professional and took pride in their work. When they finished, they cleaned up and left things as they found them. I thank them for their services and will not hesitate to call them with future projects.

Job went well. Only delay in. Getting job done was waiting for materials to be delivered from Lowe's. Communication was good also. They did a great job in cleaning up after themselves and house looks same as it did prior to job being started.

His crew worked very hard countless hours and they worked professionally (which don't normally happen with construction guys) We are absolutely in love with our new floors and the new look throughout our home. Would definitely recommend for any home improvement needs one may have. We do plan on using them in the future for some deck rebuilding and anything else that may arise.

There was a roof leak that required immediate attention as well as drywall replacement for the wet ceiling. They were very fast to communicate by phone. Mr. Howard responded quickly to my request regarding sudden water stains above fireplaces on two floors. They came out and did a temporary roof repair between storms until storms cleared enough for permanant repair. He even called me at 9 pm on a Friday night during a particularly bad rain storm to cofirm the temp work was effective. It was very effective. Roof damage was repaired, damage to a wood chimney extending up three floors was repaired. We ended up with a full exterior refresh and our house looks great. Work crews showed up when expected. Site was left clean daily. Crew was efficient, polite, respectful of our home and friendly. They asked on a daily basis if we were happy with the work done and quickly responded to our questions and concerns. We would hire them again.

Very well, workers and owner of company were very polite, came to work when told they were coming. They kept us informed on everything that was being done and when the job would be completed. When job was completed, site was cleaned up and taken off, no trash left behind. Very pleased with this company.
