+ 0 moreLeft corner of bottom edge of roof was damaged by Huricane Irene with a strip about 6 by 3 feet losing singles and tarpaper. Remaining edge of roof had about two feetof plywood under singles rotten by unsealed singles allowing water to get between singles and plywood over the pastten years. Called Rocky Wednesday afternoon, he came by Friday, evaluated the work and told me what was rquired. Work was performed on Monday September 5, by Rocky and his crew arriving about 8:15 pm and finishing about 1:30 pm.
Description of Work: Repaired and replaced 56 x 3 feet of leading edge of front roof, to include plywood, tarpaper, flashing, and singles, and sealing singles.

+ 2 moreAfter hearing my requirements for the carport, Mr. Salter provided a set of plans, an exact estimate, and obtained all required permits. Work took one month. The roof singles have experienced numerous storms and a couple of hurricanes with almost no damage and no leakage to the room at all. The ramp was installed on 3/14/2004 with about three days notice and is still being used. Had experienced leakage at the top of the windows for some time thinking it was due to the window seals. Mr. Salter showed me when it was coming in under the roof singles, made the repairs, and I haven't seen a drop since.
Description of Work: Have actually used Mr. Salter on three occasions; building of a single car carport, with 10' x 12' room, constructed a ramp to deck, and repair of major leakage in three adjacent windows. The carport was completed with room and concrete base 10/2002, the ramp was an emergency requirement when my brother broke his hip and was done on short notice 3/14/2004, and the windows leakage required a major repair to the roof and was completed on 9/15/2009.
