Great! They were able to get to us quickly and did an excellent job fixing a complicated set of problems with our electrical wiring. Very friendly and explained things so well for us older people so we could understand what had happened. Thank you guys for such great work and customer service!
Description of Work: The ceiling fans and overhead lighting in the dining room, living room, 1 bedroom and 1 bath had quit working and kept flipping the breaker every time we tried to flip it back on. The bathroom also had a wall outlet that didn't work. They traced everything down and it ended up being several different problems but these guys worked it all out and we are thrilled. They are definitely in our phone contacts list for any future electrical needs. Highly recommend them!!

All installations in the studio and outside were completed professionally with appropriate clean up. They restored power to the dock and replaced dock lights. Excellent work on all parts of the project and within their estimate.
Description of Work: Outdoor lights replaced; fluorescent lighting in studio replaced with LED motion controlled lights; power to dock and dock lights replaced.

Excellent service and superior quality. They came when expected and were efficient and thorough in all aspects of their work.

I had a bad boat lift motor and a friend put me in touch with Olde Towne. Chris showed up at the marina before I could get there! It was right at 5 pm, so they couldn't get the new motor that day, but came back first thing next morning and replaced it. Great guys.

I chose Olde Towne Electric because of their top ratings on Angie's List. They came promptly when I called them. I had purchased the light fixtures from a lighting store in advance, and it turned out that I had purchased the wrong fixtures for my application. The electricians and office personnel worked together to get the fixtures I needed, taking extra time and effort to call the manufacturer directly. The installation went smoothly and the lights work perfectly. The electricians were friendly, professional, and helpful. The office staff could not have been more accommodating. I am planning to get a generator (after the last hurricane!) and Olde Towne Electric is my number one choice for the next project!
Description of Work: I hired Olde Towne Electric to install under cabinet lighting in my kitchen, with the additional requirement that the lights be adjustable so I could use them as night lights as well.

Customer was unhappy because we did not receive his message in a timely manner. After contacting him by phone, he said he would remove this rating. This work was completed in February 2015 and as of today's date (November 2,2015) we have not received payment for work completed. The customer added extras to a quote given him,and said he was happy with our work, so why no payment? He waited several months to "complain about the work." Update, finally received payment from this customer(July 2016) after he was contacted by a lawyer.

Description of Work: I had a broken window that needed to be removed...not from the frame, but it was a double window,and it just popped out. I did not have the window replaced, so that was all that was done. If I had known how easy it was, I could have done it myself! They did respond fairly promptly to my call...same day service, and I did not have to wait more than about an hour. They were professional, and used their dry-vac to vacuum up any glass that may have been in carpet. My only disappoint was that I was charged for a full hour for a 10 minute job. I would have hoped that a 1/2 hour price would have been charged, but that is their policy...a one hour minimum charge. To their credit, they did give me a discount for being an Angie's List member, which I did mention at the time of service. I know that they have to charge enough to justify the time/money it takes to provide the service, so I'm not upset---just surprised! I do believe that they are comparable with everyone else in the area.

Description of Work: after our new Microwave/Oven combo unit was delivered I realised I could not install it. I called several local electricians, Ben responded in less than an hour and was ove to our house within two hours to provide an estimate. His guys (Chris and David) showed up the next week, removed the double oven and set up the electircal for the new unit. As some cabinetry modifications were required, Ben recommended a tradesman he was confident in, one that work was completed, Ben's team (Chris and Lee) were back over to install the new unit. It looks and works awesome ! ..
