Never before have I been so thoroughly convinced this is a company I would never hire again. My first experience with Atlantic Glass and Mirror (AGM) was positive enough - they removed a heavy glass shower door and replaced the rollers, which had corroded. I was out of town when they sent a team to replace the door in its track. AGM repaired the rollers. When I returned home, I noted that the door was re-installed with great satisfaction. Then I slid it open to find a hole in the shower basin that extended through the sub-flooring into the crawlspace below. Their “explanation”: A worker stepped in a preexisting hole that he could not see due to a rug in the shower. That was a completely unnecessary lie. The issue was that when the workers found the hole, they should have stopped the installation, informed me of the hole, and allowed me to repair the floor. Instead, no one at AGM mentioned to me there was a hole. I had to ask AGM about it, and they responded by essentially telling me I was lying about both the hole and the absence of a rug concealing it. For the first time in my 74 years on this earth, being accused of lying is quite shocking. Tragically, COVID-19 was raging, and AGM was the only game in town available to me. So I was stuck with AGM, forced to ask them to return and remove the door so I could replace the sub-flooring, shower pan, and floor tiles. AGM’s owner wanted me to pay a trip charge of almost $150.00 for the removal because “the hole was not their fault.” Once I repaired the floor, I reluctantly called upon AGM again (still no other choice) to replace the shower door (another trip charge). When the workers left (giving me no opportunity to inspect their work), I found the glass door would swing back and forth within the frame, and the track was sliding on the curb. Again, AGM took no responsibility for those deficiencies or the poor quality of their “technicians” work. AGM returned (another trip charge), removed the glass door, dismantled the frame, replaced a missing gasket, and reassembled the frame and door. It seemed like solid work, even though the door still moved back and forth within the track more than it had before AGM removed it for the first time. According to the AGM technician’s invoice, a missing part allowed for that movement. This morning, while cleaning the bathroom floor, I found the missing part behind the bathroom bidet. Thankfully, I could put it on by myself, without the “help” of anyone from Atlantic Glass and mirror (and another trip charge). I will never hire Atlantic Glass and Mirror again, and I do not recommend their work. I also have no commendations for their poor work ethic. AGM’s reliance on prevarication and equivocation is an unfortunate permutation to taking responsibility for their deficiencies.

I had an absolute horrible experience with Atlanta Glass and Mirror. I don't want other people to go through what I did. When he came out he seemed very hyper. I wasn't sure if when he left if we were on the same page. I hadn't heard back from him and I couldn't get in touch with him. I called everyday and at different times. I drove up there and he gave me some sort of spiel about the number being the wrong number to call, even though that was the number he had given me. It took him forever to get the screens done. I had given him plenty of time. When I went in a second time he didn't know who I was, but he said it was getting done then. The guys who were working with him were either on drugs or on something and was coming off of it as the day went on. He got worse and worse as the day went on. It took them all day to get the work done. Most companies that have to come in and out of the house wear plastic shoes, they didn't. I asked them to take off their shoes, but one of the guys was not happy about it. I had new carpet in one of my rooms, and I had to have a professional cleaning service clean my carpets since they insisted on wearing their shoes. He was jittery, unprofessional, his eyes were dilated, and he was swearing. His hands were trembling so bad I had to hold a screen for him, because he couldn't do his work. I was home alone with the workers and I was getting upset over the situation. One screen didn't fit, I called the owner that I did not want the same people to come out and the owner said he would come out himself. The owner was not very professional either. The screen still didn't fit and I told him. He told me that there was nothing wrong with the screen and just walked out. It took so long for them to do it I had to keep going back to their office.
