Everything went very smoothly. On initial constultation, they built our trust. The crew was here for 2 days and did a good job of cleaning up when finished. We were contacted to arrange final inspection and payment after work was completed to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the results. The 10-year 100% satisfaction guarantee was an added plus.

The work was excellent, professional, in and out. The customer service was excellent and they were very efficient. Mike the supervisor was very courteous and knew exactly what needed to be done. They also noted some other problems that were seen and recommended that they be repaired as well and everything was done at a very reasonable price.

They were prompt and courteous. All work was done promptly. Although it was a small job I would hire them again for larger projects.

The showed up the next day and checked it out. Did some repairs on the spots that were leaking and told her she had a few more years left before she needed a new roof. Gave her an estimate for a new one since she wanted one and it was approx. $6600.00. They fixed my roof last year and we were very VERY pleased, and after this, I will be recommending them to everyone.

This company is the cats meow! I called for them to come look at a couple leaks in my metal roof and my chimney cap back in January, and they were out here the same day. Told me what it would cost to fix the roof and quoted me the price on a new shingle roof and the repairs would be over half of a new roof. Got back in touch with them over a month later and asked them to schedule a new roof and was told it would be the the next week. They dropped off the materials the next day, and showed up while I was at work the day after. The workers were very polite and they even ate their lunch on site. Took them two days, and they cleaned up after themselves.

I appreciate their willingness to warrant their installation and spend the time to help troubleshoot my situation. They did say if they thought the problem was with their workmanship they would correct it. They ended up finding out the problem was unrelated to a roofing/flashing problem and I appreciate their investigative efforts. I have since taken care of that issue (with the chimney itself) and the problem has been resolved. PLEASE NOTE: I debated on rating for "responsiveness" - fact is I know they are a busy company doing bigger jobs (roof replacements) and only a couple of guys actually come out for repair work - so just be patient if you need them for small jobs, especially if not an emergency. If it is an emergency - shingles blown off for instance - just tell them that and they will do their best to work you in before the next rain! They have done that for me.

The service was great. We had tried to have the leak repaired several times but since the issue was behind the siding there was no way for us to know it wasn't fixed. Race City Roofing actually found the problem and repaired it. We haven't had an issue since.

The management and crew were highly responsive. They did the job on time, had all the materials available, and minimized the inconvenience to the homeowner. They used extensive protection for the rest of the house and the plants; they cleaned up very well. Their crew was obviously highly experienced and competent. We'd recommend them without hesitation.

They were very quick to make an appointment after we called. He called ahead to tell me when he would come by and was very punctual. They found the leak right away and fixed it in 10 minutes! I contacted Michael and David about a quote to replace my 22 year old roof that was needing a replacement. They were very professional and upfront with my options and pricing, and answered all my questions and concerns. Their prices were fair and I felt completely at ease in using them. They arrived as scheduled and within a day and a half, it was done, no drama or surprises. Their crew was very pleasant to deal with and worked very hard. Most of all, I was promised that, along with good work, they would insure the area was completely clean when they left. Unlike other service providers I have worked with, they did just that. They went to great effort to keep the area clean while working and to clean up when the job was finished, and I was very impressed. Most of all, they left me with a great looking roof that even my neighbors have commented on. I really liked dealing with Michael and RaceCity Roofing. I like supporting local businesses that do good work and it helps the local economy, as opposed to bringing in non-local work. They made, what felt like to me, a huge undertaking, very painless and straight-forward. I would not hesitate recommending them to any of my friends and neighbors who have roofing issues.

Michael and his team did exemplary work. Their estimate proved to be more than fair when compared to their competition and the quality of their work looks to be excellent. The problem with the leak is solved and for less than what I expected to pay. Their manner is respectful and courteous and they were professionals throughout. I highly recommend this company.

Two gentlemen arrived, explained that they would access the problem, tell me what was wrong, what it would take to repair it and if I agree to the repair, they would proceed. Which was exactly what happened. Small holes were found near the toe holes on the roof. I was told the price of the repair and when I agreed to the repair and price, they went immediately to work They explain everything to me in clear and concise manner, They were very pleasant and professional. I was told to call them back if I had any concerns, which I haven't, due to the great job they did, I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Race City Roofing came out to our house the same day we called and evaluated our roof. They were able to diagnose the issue pretty quickly. I had a quote the same day and we scheduled the work to be done right after the holidays. They sent their guy out to do the work 1/2/14 right after the holidays as promised. From what I can see, they did a good job.

Quoted roof replacement. Prices of all contractors that I contacted from Angie's list were close. I picked Race City because they were available when I wanted the roof replaced and their price was competitive. They arrived on time. Work was completed on time and to my expectations.

I CALLED THEM TO REPLACE VENT BOOTS ON OUR ROOF AND ALSO REPLACE SOME TRIM THAT CAME LOOSE IN A WIND STORM. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND CAME REALLY FAST EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE REALLY BUSY BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE RAIN THIS SUMMER. i ALSO USED THEM WHEN WE LIVED IN MOORESVILLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

They answered my call right away Came the next day to estimate it. Checked out roof and determined that it only needed slight repair. They could have told me the whole roof needed replacement and would not have known the difference. They were honest. polite and really nice people. They came withing a two or three days and finished in record time and told me to wait unttil the next rail fall and let them now if it worked., I would use and recommend them to anyone.

I really enjoyed dealing with David and Mike. They addressed the issues and did not try to sell me a whole new master bed room roof to fix the leak problem (as another contractor tried to do). They inspected the roof and estimated that I still had three to five years life left on it assuming the existing workmanship held up. Again this is different than other contractors who 'implied' that it would probably be best to replace the entire roof now.

Race City Roofing was one of three companies I contacted for an estimate for a new roof since my aging roof received hail damage from recent severe weather. Dave and Mike with Race City Roofing gave their estimate and I chose them for the work based on their Angie's List rating, the estimate amount and their warranty. Dave and Mike responded with the insurance company representative when she arrived to inspect the roof initially, waiting an hour for her arrival. Once the job date was set, the crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently and when the job was completed, they cleaned up including running a magnet over the yard to retrieve any nails. Dave came out to do an inspection and was not happy with a section of the roof so he sent the crew back out to add an additional board (decking) and re-shingle the area. I am completely satisfied with the work and have already provided them with a referral.

They did a satisfactory, high quality job. They answered some questions I asked them. They gave me a better price than another gutter job they were doing. They definitely were not the most professional people, but they were also local and good people.

Race City Roofing was one of three roofing companies that I got estimates from. I am very glad that I gave them the work. The old roof had three layer of singles (against standards) and a very low pitched roof over a porch. I knew there was some roof decking that would need to be replaced, as well as quite a bit of fascia to be replaced. During estimate walkdown, I pointed out known area that would need more than just re-roofing, so that could be included in estimate. Estimate included complete tear off of old roof to decking, repair of any roofing, soffit & fascia wood, removal & patching of old power vent, new tar paper, 30 year architectural shingles and proper underlayment & shingles for low pitch porch roof. To my surprise, the job was able to be scheduled within a week. This was a job that I had expected to take at least the better part of two days, but the roofing crew was amazing. They arrived on time & got straight to work. They were very organized & were started to rip off the old roof while I was still doing a brief walkdown with the crew boss. If it hadn't been for a slight miscalculation on the amount of ridge singles, they would have been done in one long day. That was taken care of the next day and they had left nothing unprotected overnight. The crew had found and fixed some additional area as a matter of course. With remaining shingles, they re-roofed my well pump house and they also painted the vents to match the new seals & collars that were put on. They had laid down tarps around the house to protect flower beds & to prevent debris from going astray. They were very thorough on cleanup, running a magnetic rake over the area for errant nails. The only sign that they had been at work (besides the new roof & wood work) was the occasional bit plastic film from the old roof that had blown away from the house (few & far between). In a nutshell, the job came in at estimate (even with some additional work) and I am very impressed with the Race City Roofing crew & would easily recommend them to anyone.
