GREAT, THE CREW WAS ON TIME AND LEFT THE YARD TOTALLY CLEAN.

Things went great. They were there the day thewy said and handled everythign with my insurance adjuster. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The job went really well. There was some miscommunication as to when the Duke meter was going to be installed. I thought Power Home did it, but I had to wait for Duke. That took about 3 weeks. No big deal, I was just under the assumption that Power Home would do it that day. Otherwise thing went absolutely GREAT! The system was installed in about 5 hours, the guys we're very nice and professional and cleaned up very well.

At first it was a very positive experience. The salesperson met with me and my wife for over 8 hours explaining how the system works and how much it can save. We had doubts because we are with Energy United and they charge their customers a standard service meter fee of 35 dollars plus and additional 3$ per KW. We were looking at a 7 to 8 KW system for a total of $55 per month therefore our system would have to over produce to make up for the fee. To close the deal the salesperson offered some incentives. He offered a 7.5KW system which is 32 panels, a tankless water heater, radiant heat barrier in the attic and to convert my heating systems to electric heat pumps for a price of $34,000. We agreed and he called his manager. After that call he said his manager would not agree unless the price was increased by $2500 which brought the cost to $36500. I countered with $36000 and they accepted. I went to their office the next day and we signed the contracts. The manager was very nice and made it a point to tell me what a good deal I got. weeks went by while I waited for the project team to call and schedule appointment to see the house. After project team left I was told there would be an additional cost of $600 for a sub-panel a they would not include converting my heating systems to heat pumps. he explained that they thought I only had one heading system not two, The salesperson and manager came to my house a week later and tried to make an offer that I would be happy with. Now the cost was up to over $4100I0. I was still unsure and made an appointment to the meet the manager the next day. He did not show. communication from the salesperson stopped and the manager didn't want to spend anymore time with me. I completely understand that they made a mistake as they didn't realize how much a new heat pump cost, however, that was their mistake not mine. I believe they should have honored the contract with me even though it would have caused them to lose money. I am also upset because they should have noticed the error much sooner, now it is too lake to the year and I cannot find a company which can guarantee installation by the end of the year to get the tax credit from the state. they did try hard to make up for the mistake however it seemed every time we tried the cost went up.
