If I could give zero starts I would. We had this company come out and make a path down the side of our home and boarder around our back patio. Within two weeks the path was washed out. They charged us to fix it (what company does that?) and it washed out again. We have tried calling several times and they are not returning our calls. Over $8,000 for a dangerous MESS.

Team does superb hardscape work. We had over 120 feet of block retaining wall installed and they completed ahead of schedule with a great finished result. Price was also best of three quotes.

Then when Marcus & team show up to do the work, then show up en masse & get it done quickly, checking in on any nuances discovered to assure all as desired. Final project results look great!

It didn't! Cherie came out to look at the space and told us we would have a quote by end of the week. End of the week came, and I had not heard so I reached out. She said she was working on it and would have it to us ASAP. End of another week came and still nothing but we were going on vacation so I waited til end of the following week. Still nothing. I reached out again asking if this was their normal way of doing business and asked if they still intended on giving a quote. I finally get a response that simply said " I apologize but we can't give you a quote". No reason why. After they wasted 3 weeks of our time when we could have been finding someone else. Wishing you better luck with them than we had.

After obtaining several proposals for a hardscape upgrade project at my residence, I hired Northlake Landscapes for the project, which involved the installation of a combination of curbing materials including stack stone, river rock and steel edging around different landscape beds. They also re-did several French drains by replacing the corrugated piping and routing it under the stack stone curbing into pop-up drains. In addition, they re-located a couple of sprinkler heads that needed to be moved to make room for the curbing and removed multiple, large and deep shrub roots around existing utility boxes without disturbing any of the lines. Marcus was excellent to work with from the initial site assessment and consultation, through the proposal process to the final walk through and acceptance of work. We discussed multiple options and the pros/cons of using each type of material in each given area. His experience, guidance, honesty and transparency made the materials selection process stress free. His installation crew was very detailed, efficient, communicated with me throughout the project and did a fantastic job installing the different materials. I suppose the highest compliment I can give here is that the finished product looks just as I had envisioned it would. I couldn’t be happier with the service and the results and will definitely look to use again for any future landscape projects.

Northlake Landscaping Review I had Marcus and Oscar, replace all of my landscaping in front of my house as well as a rock drainage ditch down my driveway. They removed all of my old bushes, put down weed preventing fabric, installed 27 new plants with additional new soil, redid my irrigation drip line for all of the plants, ran new wire for future lights and tapped into the existing wire and covered all of the area with beautifully river rock. They were extremely fast, courteous, friendly and cleaned everything up as they were never there. Hard to find this kind of customer service any more but they will not disappoint.

Northlake Landscapes had been very conscientious with the start up of our irrigation system, but when I requested a meeting to discuss landscaping needs and several projects, Marcus was not as conscientious. I had to email him several times to remind him of wanting to arrange a meeting, and then when a proposed meeting was arranged, I never heard from him to confirm or to reschedule. I am very disappointed, because I believed that he was more professional or courteous with follow-up than other contractors who NEVER follow-up. -- but he is either too busy OR he doesn't want to do business with us.

Showed up on time, professional, very reasonable price. Marcus was very responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely have them back again in the fall to winterize our system.

Very well. The work was done quickly and promptly. These lines were installed in an existing courtyard, cobblestones had to be removed and laid again and the second line went through some of our mulched area. Everything was restored perfectly. Marcus has done work for us before and I won't hesitate to call him again.

The work went well on both jobs, they showed up as scheduled, completed the work in a timely fashion and did quality work.

I would highly recommend this company if you need irrigation installed. The crew arrived early in the morning, worked most of the day and had the entire front yard finished in two days. I had a couple of leaks but Marcus sent his team out immediately and fixed those. He is very responsive and great to work with. They did a great job, especially working around existing trees and shrubs in an established yard. Marcus and his crew were friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again.

I called Marcus to get a quote to install a residential irrigation system. He came by that afternoon and had us a quote in four or five days. I put him on hold for several weeks while I waited for a competitive quote. Marcus's quote was the best price and when I turned him loose to start, he was there within a week or so. His crew was very professional and did a good job of cleaning up afterward. They spent some time explaining the system to me and made sure everything was working well before they left. A week later, I noticed that one of the control valves was leaking, so I called Marcus who was on vacation. Within a day or two, one of his employees was at the house fixing it. Once again, clean-up was terrific. Marcus and his crew have been very responsive and professional from beginning to end. I would definitely use these guys again and would recommend them to anyone.

Was very pleased with the design and service provided by Marcus. He designed the back privacy hill and the replaced the overgrown plants in the front of the house. The work was fabulous and very pleased with the outcome.

We moved into a new home and the initial grass did not take. We got estimates from several providers and went with Northlake. They installed dozens of plants, rock underneath our deck, pine straw around the extensive landscaping, planted grass all around the house and yard and extended existing irrigation to the new areas that were landscaped. We had a really great experience with the entire team and would quickly recommend them to others looking to have landscaping work done, whether a big or small job.

It was fantastic! Although there was plenty of opportunity for him to criticize the initial landscaping job, Marcus was too professional to ever say one negative thing. He got us the estimate when he said he would, the crew showed up on time, worked hard and got the job done. Everything is thriving and looking great. One thing that I especially like is how he works with his crew. He shows up at the start of the job and lays everything out for them and then leaves it in their able hands. He was very responsive to any questions and made some excellent suggestions. 6 months after moving into our new home, we now have landscaping that appropriately complements it and are getting lots of praise about how great it looks. We feel that we got a lot of great service and results for our investment, and will continue to use Northlake for every landscaping need we have in the future!

Compared to some other landscaping companies he's great about follow-up, and professional and provides timely written estimates. There are no price surprises.

My call was returned quickly. He agreed to come out on the same day and said he would let me know when he was on his way. On arriving we examined the system and he quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately went about cleaning, flushing, and replacing filters and spray heads. Once again, I am very pleased with his performance and responsiveness at a time of year when irrigation companies are extremely busy. I will most definitely recommend him to others and will use him as needed.
