Tim came out to see our property and was dull, rude and completely devoid of any creativity. He seemed annoyed that we got stuck half way done. The contrast between him and the person who came today was stunning. The person from Makeover My Yard was not only friendly and professional but had ideas flowing from the moment we started talking. I don't know how this unimaginative, unprofessional person gets any business at all

I had clarified something in the contract and they just ignored it, which I understand and they apologized, but they performed a service that had just been done by another company so I really did not need it done. I have been using them a couple of months, since December.

Tim is always very cordial and willing to take care of my needs even on an off and on basis. They also do excellent work and are very dependable.

It went wonderfully. Every job has been done excellently. Tim Valentine is great to talk with and he is eager to work with me to give great service. Highly, highly recommended.

First off this is the second year that I've tried to offer Tim my business, but last year he never followed up. This year he came out and took notes after I told him my needs. He said he would get me a quote via e-mail the following day. Waited over a week and then I had to recontact him. He then finally sent the quote and I asked questions asking for an updated quote on May 8th. I had to follow up on May 16th and then he finally responded on May 25th stating that "at this time we are only accepting clients that require full maintenance service, Sincerely - Tim Valentine." Full maintenance? Then why did you come out in the first place if trimming the majority of my shrubs was not full maintenance? Bottom line is this after trying to do business with Tim for two years. 1. Tim is a nice guy 2. Tim does not follow up on time and comes off lazy as a small business owner Nice guy is no substitute for being a great small business owner. Nothing personal Tim... "It's just business.." Right? I'll be taking my business elsewhere. To do business with Tim you will have to work way to hard.

Tim was contacted due to his Angie's list recommendation. We were looking to have a retaining wall rebuilt and some Landscaping done. He was initially responsive and we met Ito discuss what we wanted complete. I asked him to provide us a quote and questioned timing for initiating the work. He mentioned he was extremely busy and that it probably wouldn't be until the end of May. We mentioned we were not necessarily in a rush and the timing was fine. He stated he would send the quote. It is one month later and after unreturned phone calls regarding status we still have no quote. Extremely disappointing as time was wasted by both parties.

The work was done on time and on budget. Very professional and polite. Overall, a pleasure to deal with.

im Valentine and his crew were EXCELLENT. It was better than I had hoped for given the length of time the yard had not had nothing done to it. The work was well executed and repairs were made to sprinkler lines that were inadvertently cut during the work. Repairs were done at no cost.

I found the provider through Angie's List and really wanted to use a provider that wasn't a big time company with the hope of receiving better service at a reasonable cost. The relationship started out badly with the provider. I had to call multiple times to schedule a initial meeting with the provider. After finally getting a meeting scheduled during my lunch hour, I waited for close to an hour after the scheduled time and the provider didn't show up. I called to check and the provider seemed to have simply forgotten about the meeting and didn't seem to have written it down. I should've learned my lesson then and moved on but I wanted to give the provider a second chance and I really believe in the people on Angie's List. The provider did come out later and checked over my yard and gave me a quote for the initial service without me having to be there. The services quoted were provided at the quoted cost. I was happy with work that was done at that point. After the initial treatment and aeration we discussed the cost and schedule of the regular treatment throughout the year. The scheduled treatments were supposed to have started within a month of initial work. After 2 months of not seeing anyone or receiving a phone call I called the provider back to check to see what the issue was. The response I received was all I needed to hear, he didn't think I wanted to pay for the services he offered at the cost he quoted and he had meant to call me for "a while" but in my opinion he just seemed to never get around to it. The provider seems very nice and was overly apologetic for forgetting the initial meeting but after receiving the same response on what I thought was a scheduled service I needed to move on and find someone else.

Mr. Valentine contacted me within 24 hours of my initial contact through his website. He came by shortly thereafter, at which time we discussed my needs and my budget. Though there were a few delays due to weather and a holiday, he got back to me as soon as he could with a proposal. His proposal was significantly higher than my original budget but I approved the work to be done as soon as it could be scheduled. The crew arrived to do the work a day after originally confirmed (due to weather problems), but the finished product was worth the additional money. His employees are professional, polite, willing to answer any and all questions, and pleasant to have around the house. They did a thorough job and cleaned up the yard and the road in front of the house when their installation was completed. Mr. Valentine came by immediately after the job was completed to be sure I was satisfied and to answer any questions.

They showed up promptly to give us a bid. The work was completed shortly after accepting the bid. They did a great job trimming the bushes and trees. They then did a wonderful job of cleaning up the cuttings. When the job was completed, Tim (the owner) checked with us in person to make sure that we were happy with what was done.

I contacted Tim through the Angie's List site and he returned my call promptly. He listened to my needs and set out to provide a design that met multiple concerns. He was extremely professional, polite, and easy to work with. His team was a pleasure to be around and very proud of the work they did - as they should be. I would certainly recommend Tim and his team to others.

The owner, Tim Valentine is great to work with. From the initial appointment, to estimate, to follow-up to performing services has been fast. This is just the first phase - pruning bushes and trees - but the results are wonderful. I strongly recommend Mooresville Landscaping.
