Horrible. Hired them for a June bug infestation. They had a rep come out and sold me their gold policy and told me what a great company they are. Came out sprayed 2 weeks later the june bugs are back. Came out retreated. Next my daughter is running screaming because there is a spider in the bathroom. Also had beetle in my media room which 2 teenage girls discovered at 1am and woke up the whole home. Then had company over were outside and we were attacked by mosquitoes when we were guaranteed we would never be bitten. Had 3 web bugs in my front tree they sprayed and 3 wks.later they were dead and I had twice as many new ones. Notice tge trees they retreated were dying had to cut them down because they died. Don't know the reason but seems odd to me. They were fine before they were sprayed. Due for 2nd service had to call after 2 wks past the day we should have had service. Called and asked and was told that they had preformed it 4 wks earlier. So in my opinion they were considering the day that they redprayed as a services. At that time I terminated service and asked that I be refunded the money for the service that had not been preformed. Representative was argumentative and I unfortunately had to get nasty with her and tell her quite firmly that their services were no longer required and we were done. Representative called and insisted I give them another chance which I declined and stated I wanted my money refunded and to be left alone. Another rep calls and I left a review telling them we were done leave me alone. Another rep calls and I wrote another review. They offered free service which I declined and stated I wouldn't entertain them performing any additional services if they paid me. Looked at my bank account after I was assured that my money for the one servicenot preformed be refunded and had still not had my money refunded. Fearing that they would charge my account again called for the 3rd time demanding a refund and not to charge my account again. Understandably I was quite upset at this time and feel sorry for their poor secratary. Representative got on the phone and told me how great a company they were and would I consider removing my reviews as they felt I haven't given them a fair chance and offered me free service. I declined and repeated I wanted a refund for just the service not preformed and to leave me alone they couldn't pay me to do buisness with this company again. Next day look at my account and all of my money had been returned. The same day received an overdue bill from back n forth pest control for services preformed. The letter was postmarked before I had demanded the refund. I had no Idea why this company was billing me as I had never heard of them before. Never recieved another bill and was quite weird that when I had set up direct pay that I would be getting a late notice. Later I get a notice on facebook that someone has commented on a review I had on facebook. Read the review and the person had a similar experience so I let her know of my experience with this company. Next thing I know I received a letter from the owner offering free service with a gift card. I found this offensive after what I feel like was badgering and harassment from representatives of this company and repeatedly telling them you couldn't pay me to do buisness with you I felt they were trying to pay me which really upset me. I personally told a representative to leave me alobe returned the gift card and I was not removing my review and they best leave me alone. So a year goes by and I get a email from a review site that I need to prove my review as the company declared it wasn't accurate and I had to prove they preformed the service.I did the review is still up but edited. Now this review is here because this company won't let go that they did not live up to what they represented. They now have more reviews as they won't let it go. I really wish they would its like a person you dated and want out of your life and they keep coming back to haunt you. This is in my opinion the worst company I've ever dealt with. I dread the day that I called them and have not attempted to hire another pest control company in fear of a repeat of this. Unfortunately I will not take down my review as it is a truthful account and fell the need to warn others.

You can rest assured as a Lake Norman Pest Control customer, you will be treated as a valued customer with attention and respect, with the ultimate goal of providing customer service that exceeds your expectations, as evidenced in how we handled this customer's experience: 1. The very day this customer expressed dissatisfaction with his service, we cancelled his service immediately with no early cancellation penalties. 2. We called the customer and voluntarily offered to refund 100% of the money he had ever paid us, and processed that refund the very same day. 3. We offered to continue to service his account for free until he was extremely satisfied with his service. 4. Our owner sent a handwritten letter to the customer to apologize for his unsatisfactory experience, and included a gift card for the customer to take his family out to dinner, as a gesture to show that what we care about at the end of the day is that we make our customers lives better and easier. 5. We even offered to pay for another pest control company to service his account, in hopes that if we were unable to satisfy him, we could find someone who could.

Great experience with Lake Norman Pest Control. They took care of my Yellow Jacket problem and even checked in the next day to make sure they were completely gone. Nate was my technician and was awesome. A really nice guy who provided excellent customer service.
Description of Work: Started me up on a service plan $25 ($95 start up fee) a month and removed yellow jacket nest.

I think that Lake Norman Pest control is good at selling customers on their plans. But the service after the sale is not the greatest. We purchased termite and pest control services and they do not let us know when they have actually been to our house for treatment. When I call to ask if they have been there they act as if I'm inconveniencing them by asking such questions. Friendly, professional service goes a long way.

We contacted this customer immediately after receiving notification of his concerns through Angie's List. Our goal was to address and prevent any of his concerns from happening in the future. At each regular appointment, which is based on his specific service schedule, we have left service tickets at the home. To offer him additional peace of mind, we have now added notes to his account to ensure that he is personally made aware of each treatment PRIOR to the treatment as well. The customer expressed that this step would address his concerns. We were unable to identify which Lake Norman Pest Control employee could have expressed a sense of "inconvenience" when he called but we have apologized and assured him that our intimate office staff would never be inconvenienced by any customer calls. Lastly, the customer did indicate that when issuing his grades for our company on Angie's List, he "never meant to communicate that any part of his service was bad."
