Trust me spend a few extra dollars and hire a more reputable company. Because JD Johnson is not it. Lack of knowledge and experience on how to correctly load a storage unit or truck. The trucks break down in the middle of a customers move. Or will leak oil and hydraulic fluid all over your driveway at the very least. Company should be called Two rednecks and a meth head because a meth head is what you will get from time to time. Save yourself the Head ache and just hire a better quality company. Beware

I had Danny and his crew clear out a lot of junk on my property and in my basement and they did it in excellence. I've also had Danny deliver a chair for me that I purchased in Mooresville to my home. He is always professional and went above and beyond to make sure that i was satisfied. I would highly recommend him and will be using him in the future for any moving needs.

Iva, from JDJohnson (JDJ) called me 9/8 afternoon telling me they got my name and could they help me. I told them, yes, to move a piano and sofa from Charlotte to Huntersville. She said they could deliver Friday (next day) or Sunday and I would receive a call from the manager with a quote. By 5:45 Thursday, still no call received. I checked my email, and there was a quote. I just read the quote because the other words were too small to read on my phone. I called JDJ back, voice mail was full. 5 minutes later Iva called me back, and I told her yes, and I could do the Friday 9am time. She said they would be there between 9-9:30am. I arrived at my daughter’s house in Huntersville where the piano & sofa was located at 9 am. I got a call from one of the guys, saying they would be there at 9:40. At 9:45 I got a call from my friend in Charlotte where the piano was going, saying the moving truck had gone there first. They apologized and came to Huntersville by 10:05. He went over the pricing for me. Quoting $351.15 for 1 1/2 hours moving time, and $20.50 more if they needed shrink wrap. He said after they moved the piano and sofa into the truck, they would review the estimate and if any more time was needed, they would add that, and I would pay for it then. Then, they moved the piano & sofa into the truck. After it was on the truck he re-estimated that it would take 30-45 minutes more than they thought, so I had to write the check for $453.65. I then met them at the Charlotte location 20 minutes later, and they unloaded and left. It was 11:30 am. I called the phone of the guy that had called me to tell me originally that they would be there at 9:40, and he put me on speaker with the manager, Danny, who gave me the original quote. I told him he gave me a quote for 1 1/2 hr job, and it did not take any longer than that, so I wanted him to refund me the money I was forced to pay for the extra time; and the $20.50 he charged me for shrink wrap, which was never used. Danny said it was my fault that they went to the wrong address, and that was what the extra $84 was for, but he would check the contract and would get back to me. Monday I called, no answer. Tuesday I called, no answer. Wednesday I called, no answer, and I left a message saying I would have to send a negative review. Wednesday night I received an email saying basically the same thing, it was my fault and he would not reimburse me for the $84.

They are excellent, I have five people they all seem to know what they are doing. Nobody is wasting time or standing around. I'm gonna use them to move in a new home after its built. I got a recommendation from a storage facility about them.
