JC Byrd Plumbing

I think his name is John Byrd. I had to wait a little bit for him to call back. He came the same day. He kind of knew exactly what the problem was right away and fixed it and cleaned up. Everything is great now. I would absolutely use him again in the future if necessary.

JC was on time for his apointment and perfomed his work in a very profesional manner.

He is very low, honest, thorough just great. I would always use and recommend JC Byrd. He is warm, nice, friendly and cost effective. I cannot say anything negative about him.

We have used J.C. in the past and he was the first and only plumber that we called. The repairs were completed to our satisfaction the next morning (January 14). As usual, we were completely satisfied with J.C.'s work and professionalism.

Called up JC, and since he was the only one who actually answered his phone, we decided to try his service. He gave us a quote of $85 based on my description of the problem, and said he could be over in an hour (we're in Denver). He arrived within 45min, and it took him less than 30 min to clear the water (with a vacuum...great idea!) and clear the clog (with a proper snake!). He charged what he quoted us. He was prompt, clean, and courteous. We will definitely be keeping JC Byrd on our preferred vendor list.

Had appointment on Monday, 9/26/11, for plumbing work (new toilet, shower fixtures). My husband took a day of vacation to accommodate this appointment. No show!! My husband called both the office and cell phone numbers throughout the day, but there was no answer and no messages could be left on the phone/machine. Finally, the next day, my husband talked with him, and he was very apologetic so they made another appointment for the following Friday, 9/30/11, around 10:30 am. My husband asked that if he was going to be late, that he call us. Again, no show. My husband attempted to call several times and when he finally reached him (after lunch), he just suggested dropping the job!!! Needless to say, this plumber is not dependable and will not be used again by us!! Too bad because he had done work for us in the past, and he did a good job at a reasonable price. But, if we can't count on him, we won't use him!

The plumber always answers the phone when you call. He usually comes to your house within 24 hours and even on a Saturday.

We called JC Byrd at 8:15 am and he was out at our house by 9 am on a Monday morning. He diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. He was very pleasant and obviously knew his stuff. His price was reasonable and we're very happy with his service. We wouldn't hesitate to call him again in the future.

Quick and efficient. Everything to date works perfectly.

I called JC Byrd Plumbing and they were at my house the same day. Other jobs were already booked for that day but they were able to come out and give an estimate and prepare a materials list when I confirmed that they had the job. They were at my house the very first thing the next morning and had the job completed within 3 hours. Overall a great job by some real pros.

We've used JC Byrd a few times. Kitchen faucet was leaking. He came in and looked at it and suggested we call manufacturer, even though the faucet was 8 years old. Sure enough the manufacturer sent us a new one and he installed it for us. We also called him when it appeared a pipe was leaking in the garage. Turned out, it wasn't a pipe but a roof leak that we would never have suspected because of where the leak showed up in the garage. JC never even charged us for the visit.

Mr. Byrd came out the day after I called and examined needed work. He called back the following day with an estimate of cost and suggestions to make the work more effective. In 3 days he returned and complete the work. Very professional, work is great. I would reccommend 100%.

Set up first appointment and he was a no show. Called to remind him the next day and set a new appointment. Came on time for second. Cut a hole in wall but then needed to shut off water to house. Did not seem to be able to find interior shut off valve. Said to have city come shut off water at street. Within two minutes of him leaving I found the interior water shut off valve and called him. He was less than a block away but said he could not return as he was on his way to another appointment. Would come back after that. That was a week ago and I have yet to hear back from him. My fault as I should have learned when he did not show up for the first appointment. At least he is consistent.

On a previous visit Mr Byrd suggested a filtration system that was better than the one I was planning to get. I purchased it and called him. He came within two days after I called him and installed the system to my complete satisfaction. I am very happy to finally have clean drinking water.Mr Byrd is a very able plumber and a very nice man. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a plumber.

Our disposer suddenly gave out and started flooding under the sink any time we had water running. We bought a new one but the vendor had no one to install it. We called Mr Byrd. He was able to come the very next day. Meanwhile a copper pipe in the basement sprung a small leak. When Mr Byrd arrived he was able to fix the leak and install the disposer at a price less than the vendor quoted for an installation a week away. We were very pleased with Mr Byrd's promptness and the quality of his work.

He checked it out thoroughly and got it working again - no toy to be found though. When we called him back about an hour later because water was coming up through the sinks, he came right over. When we found out that it was a blockage out at the main line, I asked whether I should call my warranty provider. Based on how close the sewer cap was to the water meter, he suggested trying the city first to see if they would take care of it, then the warranty company and then him if no one else would help - in order to be as inexpensive as possible. He didn't even charge me for coming back out - I was shocked!! The city did come out and took care of the probelm at no charge. JC saved me money. He was fast, professional and helpful - a FANTASTIC experience overall.

Excellent. Was at the house withing the time frame he stated. Did the work very professionally and was very reasonable in his fee. I would recommend him very highly. True gentleman.

he showed up on time, put together my new faucets and installed everything. He doublechecked his work and found the hot/cold reversed due to a valve inside the faucet. Looks like someone opened the faucet box prior to me buying it. He fixed that. He brought me a new strainer. He cleaned up his mess and left me my old parts (as requested). He asked which side I wanted the disposal on, even though I had already been told that it's a headache for a plumber to install on the deeper sink side. I was warned that I should specify to the plumber otherwise, they would just install it on the easy side. Not the case here. He asked first which impressed me.

I had the homebuilder's well company come by to check on a failing pump they installed 2 years ago. The tech told us that the pump was bad and it would cost around $1100 to replace, we paid around $1500 for that failing 2 year old pump. JC Bryd was already at our home fixing our propane leak and I asked him what he thought and told me that the pump price was excessive, he could replace our pump with a much better quality pump on a 5 year warrantee for $800.00 and had him do that work I am so glad that he did it for us as the pump is a much better product and pressure to the house and sprinkler systems improved 100%. We have never had water pressure as strong as it is with this new pump! I am very happy with JC and he will always be our plumber of choice. He is honest, hard working and knows his business very well. He at times may not be able to show up as pre-arranged but it has been due to unforseen sewer or well emergencies and out of his control. These are small inconveniences that I am more than willing to accept because when he his here we know the work is being done carefully with his full attention and to date have never had to call him back for any re-work. Excellent. Called Tues. evening, he was there first thing Wed. morning. He replaced the defective brass fitting on my well quickly and professionally.

JC Byrd came out on Friday to bid on the installation of a new water heater. Upon his arrival we discovered that we could simply repair the water heater ventilation. JC agreed that he would return on Monday to perform the service. I cancelled an estimate appointment with a separate plumber upon agreement with JC Byrd (since he came out on Friday, I wanted to honor that by giving him the work). Monday arrived and he never showed up. I called but I never heard from him. Very unprofessional!

Mr. Byrd was our hero on Sunday and stopped our flooding problem. He was knowledgeable and completed the work under the original quote. He was curteous and professional. I would definitely use his services again.

He immediately discovered the problem and repaired it quickly. He came when he said he would and was very professional and courteous. He charges $85 /hr plus parts which I believe is the going rate for plumbing services. It was worth it for his expertise.

JC arrived at my house promptly and within 15 minutes had corrected the problem. I had unsuccessfully tried similar corrections and was just not knowledgeable and strong enough to eliminate the problem. I thanked JC and asked what I owed him. He said there was no charge because it was an easy fix and he was on his way to another appointment that was close by. I was stunned by this consideration and knew that this was the man I would call for any plumbing repair I might have in the future. It is rare to deal with such a courteous and thoughtful man. His efforts were greatly appreciated.
