Immersive Homes

We decided to update our surround sound system and have our tv mounted on the fireplace in conjunction with other fireplace work. After meeting with, and receiving estimates from, a number of highly rated providers on Angie's List, we decided to go with Immersive Homes. Doug was very responsive to our initial request, making time to come out to see the project on a Saturday, less than 24 hours after the initial contact. He took time to discuss options and came back with 3 estimates at different price points by the time the weekend was over. He was extremely flexible, answered questions, and ultimately gave us a fourth estimate that combined aspects of the others. Once we decided on Immersive Homes, Doug was in regular contact with us and the contractor doing stone work on the fireplace, taking great care to coordinate his work with theirs to minimize disruptions at the house. Doug moved our tv from the wall to the fireplace and replaced our old system with a new soundbar, new receiver, Apple TV, in-wall surround speakers and a vastly better subwoofer, and rewired so that all components, including the cable box and Blu-ray player, are now in the closet, plus replaced all of those remotes with one universal remote. He also took great care to calibrate the system, ensuring the sound was optimized for the room. When we need any kind of home theater, network or home automation help in the future, we'll go with Immersive Homes.

Doug installed a TV on the brick fireplace and connected all AV components and speakers throughout the house. He had to use some creativity in running the wires in my older home. He does great neat clean work, and he persisted until he worked it all out. I am very satisfied with his work, and do highly recommend Easy Living Audio! :-)

Doug was timely and professional. He did NOT have to cut holes in our sheetrock, as another estimator stated would be required! He also helped my husband move a desk and connected our router the way it should have been doe by Spectrum. We are very happy with the job he did and would definitely recommend and rehire Doug in the future!

I couldn’t be more pleased with Doug’s work! Very professional, very neat & knows his stuff! I had moved onto a house that had wired-in surround sound, but no clue if it even worked. Not only did Doug made it work, but he hooked up my entire stereo/smart TV/DVD/CD system! I had been without “my music” for over 5 years! This is one happy woman right now! I recently moved into a new home that had some existing network wiring. I have some experience with CAT5e wiring, but I was having trouble figuring out what was going on with a particular connection. Doug was able to troubleshoot the problem and make repairs quickly. He did such a great job that I asked him to do some additional work which I was planning on doing myself.
