He is the absolute best contractor. We've had several and this guy was so good that even his subs love him and they were there and reliable and everything. He is just a really good guy, very responsible and does exactly what he says he is going to do. I would recommend him to everyone.

Eric Haus is a rara avis: an honest and competent contractor. He was upfront with us as to whether what we had in mind would actually work or not, and what it would cost. He began at a disadvantage, because we had initially used a designer who rather left us in the lurch mid-stream, but Eric came in and was able to pick up the thread and carry on to a satisfactory completion. In our 1982 ranch, the kitchen and den were separated by a wall with a swinging door. We decided to make the two rooms more open to each other by making a pass-through in the wall which incorporated the doorway, which left a partial half-wall as a divider (this was where the range had to go, since the fixtures where already there and we didn't really want to move it). Mr Haus also helped choose, then install a range hood - we used an and quot;Island styleand quot; since the range was installed on the half wall. The demolition portion of the remodel went smoothly, as did the electrical and plumbing install, and the natural gas line running from the downstairs area (we have a gas water heater, and wanted a gas range and gas fire logs upstairs too). Eric also coordinated with the painters, cabinet makers, flooring provider/installers, counter top provider, and appliance installers though he had had no part of hiring them originally, nor with the purchase of the appliances we purchased on our own. Eric also found carpenters who installed a beadboard ceiling in our kitchen and den, a last minute inclusion in the remodel, and I am beyond happy with how it looks now. Haus Builders Inc. completed our renovation after coming in at the middle with competence and integrity. He was patient with our myriad of questions, dithering with decision-making, and total inexperience in the renovation process. When I look around my house, at the finished product, I am so very glad we connected with Mr. Haus and Haus Builders because everything is just amazing. We have already spoken to Mr. Haus about renovating the 2nd story deck, and about renovating the downstairs living quarters in 2013 - we have every confidence we will love how that works turns out too.
