Did not show up for scheduled appointment. Did not call. Did not respond to my calls.

Greg's painter and supervisor arrived on time both days of the job. Repaired some woodwork, sanded, and applied primer and then oil based paint. Results were outstanding. This is the second time I have used Greg and happily recommend him.

I have hired Greg before. This is the third time. He runs a quality operation. Greg came to house and did estimate. His prices are always fair and competitive. He then works you into their crews' schedule. Oscar brought crew on scheduled day and got them started. Carlos and Paolino removed popcorn ceiling. Draped everywhere with plastic to prevent dust spreading. Paolino did drywall mud preceded by taping and screws where needed. Second day, Carlos and Silvia sanded the mud smooth and painted the ceiling and then did touch up on walls. Cleaned up everything afterward. No loud music; thank goodness. Greg came by the third day to inspect finished work and pointed out a couple of spots that need touch up and he will have Carlos stop by to do it. I couldn't even notice those spots but Greg has a discerning eye. A real professional. This was a small job for Greg but he treated my job with as much good care as he would with his large jobs and bigger customers. Greg hires quality crew members who do quality work. He was recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended him to others including a realtor who deals in million dollar homes.

I heard horror stories on how hard it was to get reliable painters. But after my research on Angie's list and found Greg's Custom painters, I could not be happier!!! Got our estimate on Tues. and his crew started working on Thurs., that same week. We were so amazed that they were able to do such a big job on short notice. His crew was punctual, professional, and very neat in their painting. I would not hesitate for one second to hire them again.

We have used Greg 3 different times over the past few years. First time was at a rental house that we own that was hit by lightening. Greg promptly gave a quote and performed the work in a timely manner. His quote was fair but the workmanship of his crew was excellent! Second time we used Greg's company was to get a quote for the exterior and interior of our home. While walking the exterior, he recommended that we just get the exterior pressure washed instead of painted. He was the only painter that was honest with us while the other 3 quotes all quoted an exterior paint job. We went with Greg and he pressure washed the outside which looked incredible! After his crew was done, the house looked like it was freshly painted! Greg saved me a ton of money! I then went ahead and used the money I saved to paint the inside of the house since wanted to do that down the road anyway. His crew was very nice, prompt and quiet. The inside looks very professional with no drips, runs, or sloppy lines. Price was within our budgets as well. The third time we used Greg was for small carpentry and interior paint work that needed to be done since we sold our house. It was part of the inspection request from the buyers. It was a very small job but Greg and his crew were willing to squeeze us in to get this done before we closed on the house. Another fantastic job by Greg's crew! I would certainly recommend Greg to anyone out there looking for excellent dependable crews at a fair price!

Contacted Greg after a referral from the local Sherwin Williams store. Extremely busy time of year with everyone wanting their houses painted this spring. Took a few days to schedule an appointment to review the houses and then a few days to get quotes back. (this review is for my house, but three neighbors all used Greg at the same time to have our homes painted.). We had multiple quotes and his pricing was very competitive and combined with the excellent reviews here we decided to use his company. This is a weather related business and you just have to be flexible with start dates. Greg had said it would be a couple weeks weather depending once we signed the contracts. He was within the timeframe and with good weather actually got to us a little sooner than I had expected. Crews were professional and polite. Cleaned up each day and left the yard clean each evening when they left with all supplies and tools stacked to one side of the house. All wear Greg's Custom Painting or Sherwin Williams shirts each day. Workers always had shirts on, weren't smokers taking breaks and worked hard the entire time they were on site. Showed up on time each day and worked until almost 6p each night. I had some additional wood rot that was discovered when they were painting the trim. Greg was very fair about pricing the repairs and his carpentry guys were very professional and had good quality tools to do the job. A few minor touch-ups were quickly addressed. I did a major color change from light to dark that required two coats. Great job overall and I would highly recommend using Greg's Custom Painting. He's busy and can be slower with email responses than some might like, but for the quality of work and value you can't go wrong. There's value in getting to deal directly with the owner of a local company that comes and quotes your home and visits the job site each day and does the final walk through with you as the customer in the end.

This is the third time our current house has been painted and there is no comparison between the 1st two paint jobs and Greg's. He and his crew do excellent work. We had heard that Greg's Custom Painting was good, but it far exceeded our expectations. They take great care to protect all areas that are not to be painted (carpet, furniture, bushes, etc). They are very neat and do a very thorough job when painting. I highly recommend them.

Greg and his staff were nothing but professional in all aspects. From original contact to the finished product, Greg and his staff were always on time, cleaned up after themselves and double checked all work. This was a brand new home in which his crew spent at least a half day if not more covering surfaces, taping and fixing the drywall so their work would be done correctly. Greg assisted us in color selection and went as far as to call a paint store in Columbus, OH to make sure he used the correct Buckeye Gray. After painting they went through the entire house and touched up woodwork to insure sharp crisp lines. Before final inspection, his crew chief went through the entire house again to make sure everything was perfect. The hardwood floors were cleaned better by his crew than the home builder. We would use Greg and his crew again without a doubt. Excellent company to do business with. Thank you Greg, we love the house even more now!!

We are so pleased with the work that was done! Popcorn ceiling removal is not an easy job, especially in an older home like ours, built in 1938. It looks amazing...just like new drywall was installed. The kitchen ceiling looks great as well. My parents came to visit from Ohio and noticed how great the ceilings looked right away. They also did a great job painting and staining. Greg's team work very hard, they even came all day one Saturday to finish up the porch. I will definitely hire Greg's Custom Painting next time we need any painting or refinishing of drywall work done!

Greg provided me a copy of his firm's insurance certificate and had a crew on site at the first available opportunity based on weather. The painters were totally professional and very courteous. They worked hard and did a very careful job of calking and painting, thereby making the exterior of my home look absolutely beautiful and well protected from the elements. This painting project came out exactly as I had hoped, and I'm 100% satisfied that I got my money's worth from Greg's Custom Painting.

We could not have asked for this project to have gone better. Greg Parker and his crew are conscientious in the extreme. Oscar, Carlos, Albine, Jose, and Pedro are all courteous, hard working guys. They really show that they want you, the customer, to be pleased, and they are willing to make any changes you ask for. Regarding staining the deck, they could have used a roller and just trimmed the corners and edges by brush. Instead, they hand brushed the whole thing; obviously giving a better result. All of these people, Greg and his crew are Top Notch- 5 Star! Janna & Mike U. PS: Greg gave me a price to replace the beams already mentioned. When work started, they discovered that several support boards and more labor was needed. He did not charge me any extra but just kept the quoted price "as is" ! I do not recall anyone ever doing that for me before and I have been around for quite awhile!

Greg was professional, prompt and his folks did a thorough job of prepping including an amazing caulk job of the house. Great paint job following. Definitely would use him again.

We had Greg remove our mahogany front door, sand the door, re-stain, and lacquer the front door. The door was in dire need of help. It had significant sun damage and fortunately they were able to revive it. We also had the large window frame above our front door painted. I made the mistake of letting my husband select the color. Perhaps it was bad lighting or just not a large enough sample, but the color of the window frame did not match the door. Greg kindly repainted the window frame to a better suited color and only charged us the cost of the paint. We chose Greg based on responsiveness and details provided about the process they were going to take to restore the front door. I'm certainly late on providing this review, but it is almost 2 years later and the door still looks great.

Greg is great to work with. He put up with me even though I probably fall into the category of high maintenance customer. He used to work at Sherwin Williams and really knows his stuff. The employees at the local store have nothing but respect for him and recommend him without question. He even has his own paint colors on file there. He walked me through all of the options and gave me solid recommendations. His crew was very nice and professional and they are very thorough in their work. I couldn't recommend them more.

Great job. Excellent quality, easy to deal with, cleaned up well afterwards. Had used them to paint the outside of my house as well- cost about 3K. Did a great job with that as well hence the repeat business.

The job went very well. Greg and his team were a pleasure to work with. The job took about a week to complete and the crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Greg was very up front that the cost of the job may change if they find additional carpentry that needed to be repaired. I fully expected them to find more given what I had found on my own and they did. Greg came back with the updated quote and the breakdown of all the additional costs for repairs. I agreed to the charges and his team proceeded with the work. Before any final payment was submitted, Greg made sure that we were fully satisfied with the job and it was 100% complete. The job could not have gone any better.

It went really well. They were very thorough. They did a lot of sanding and caulking. They repaired the walls.

I have used Greg's previously for exterior painting and they did so good then I decided to use them for my interior work. I met with Greg to review scope of work and within 2 days I had a detailed quote with all the details of the work to be completed and the color selections. Once work was scheduled they told me they would arrive at 8:00 AM to start and both days they were right on time. They repaired and prepared 6 ceilings and 4 rooms of walls including trim. During the process they used plenty of protective plastic to protect my furniture and flooring. When the job was complete they made sure everything was back in it's proper place and the work areas cleaned. Supervisor visited the next day to complete a walk-through and confirm I was pleased with the total job which I am.

It went very well. They cleaned up when they were finished both inside and out. There were no issues with scheduling. It took about a week to finish. They had a guy come out with samples of paint. The price was reasonable and they came in lower than I expected.

We are very happy with the results and will definitley use Greg's Custom Painting again.

They kept us informed concerning the time schedule, showed up on time, were professional and courteous at all times. We were amazed at their efficiency and work effort. We had some carpentry work that was necessary before the painting could be started; this work was detailed and professional. We were impressed. And, we would highly recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

I initially got 3 estimates from highly rated Angie's List contractors and selected Greg Parker for the job. He provided detailed estimates in a responsive manner and broke down the cost between labor/repairs and the painting work. After clarifying a few questions, I sent Greg a 10% deposit to get on his schedule. Since we were preparing for upcoming wedding event in Sept, Greg and his wife Meredith (handles scheduling) were very helpful in getting our work scheduled and completed a few weeks ahead. The interior crew arrived as promised and worked to prepare the rooms for painting. Four of the five rooms had wallpaper to be removed (we did two and left two for painters plus skim coat and sheetrock repairs). We also had them scrape ceiling popcorn for ceiling painting. Roberto, Joe and Samuel did most of the work and were reliable, hardworking, polite and very professional throughout the project. They did a beautiful job on all areas! The work was completed in 4 days. Once the interior was done, the same crew plus two repair carpenters began prepping for outside painting. They began by pressure washing everything and hand scrubbed the gutters and downspouts. Next the painters did a very thorough inspection of all wood surfaces and identified any that needed repair/replacement. Although we had noted several rotted areas, they found and repair quite a bit more that couldn't be clearly seen from the ground. The carpenters were working along side the painters so the project moved along well. One particularly nice practice they use is PVC for wood repairs where possible. A bit more expensive up front, but it makes for a "one and done" project with no chance for future rot. The outside work project was completed in 4 1/2 days. I can't say enough positive about the quality, fair pricing, professional work ethic and overall pleasure to work with Greg, Meredith and their crews. We are very pleased and plan to call them again next year for some phase II interior followup. Strongly recommend Greg's Custom Painting for any painting project.

Greg returned my calls in a timely manner and kept me up dated regarding his start date. He provided an estimate in a timely manner, and all the work was completed in a day and to my satisfaction. The workmen were professional and courteous.
