flooring contractor, hardwood floor
 + 0 moreFry's did a fantastic job. They came when scheduled; the only time there was a change in plans they called in advance to tell me the schedule had changed. I will be using him again for touch-ups and any other hardwood work I need done.
Description of Work: They replaced and added some floor boards where needed, sanded, stained, and polyurethaned the whole downstairs (approximately 1,300 square feet). Their quote was a little above some of the other quotes I received (however, the other quotes seemed low they did not allow me to select the exact color of the stain; they just said light, medium, or dark and told me all the things they didn't cover or work they wouldn't do). Mike spent time with me to find the color I wanted, explained the process, showed me the products he used, and was very knowledgeable. In the process of replacing some of the boards, he ran into a problem caused during original construction and was most resourceful in solving it.

 + -1 moreHE WAS PROMPT, RELIABLE, AND VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THE FLOORS LOOK GORGEOUS. ALSO, WHEN HE REPLACED THE QUARTER-ROUND MOLDING, THERE WERE SOME SPOTS THAT HAD BEEN POORLY INSTALLED BY BUILDERS, WHICH HE CORRECTED. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN. THERE WASN'T EVEN MUCH DUST!
Description of Work: MIKE AND HIS HELPER SANDED AND REFINISHED THE OAK FLOORS ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF OUR HOME. BECAUSE OF PET DAMAGE, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO ESTIMATE THE SCOPE OF WORK, BUT HE WAS ABLE TO REMOVE ALMOST ALL THE STAINS WITHOUT REPLACING BOARDS. THE WORK TOOK THREE DAYS, AND WE STAYED AWAY FOR ONE MORE DAY TO ALLOW THE FINISH TIME TO DRY.

 + -1 moreMIKE AND HIS CREW WERE INCREDIBLE. EXCELLENT JOB. MIKE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HAPPY. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. HIGH QUALITY PEOPLE THAT TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK.
