Jennifer of The Floor Gallery of Lake Norman took extra pains to help me with my flooring selections, including going beyond the call to find a vinyl pattern (realistic-looking slate) I saw at a big box store --which she didn't carry herself-- for my use. She helped me to understand the types of hardwood available as far as what would work in our circumstances, and helped us work within a defined budget. She even introduced us to the man who would step in during the middle of this huge (to us) renovation and save the day. She was patient with the several changes in the flooring choices, and kept us from making what could have been a really regrettable mistake. She is the ultimate professional, and knows the ins-and-outs of her Jennifer's installers were punctual, professional, and skilled. The vinyl was installed first so they could get out of the way of the kitchen cabinet installers. Next, they came in and it seemed like no time had passed and my lovely dark hardwood flooring was in place. Jennifer also arranged for my kitchen backsplash, ordering the subway tile and glass accent tiles, and having it installed after our granite countertops were installed. She came out herself to check the work, and spotted some inconsistencies she didn't like, and arranged for the installer to return to fix it. The backsplash is gorgeous, and really sets off the cabinets and counters. Our floors are lovely, our kitchen tile is just right, and I cannot sing the praises of Jennifer and The Floor Gallery at Lake Norman enough. When we renovate the lower level living quarters for my parents, we will be buying the flooring and kitchen tilework from her. That's the highest compliment of all!

In September I was recommended to go to Floor Gallery to fulfill some minor tile needs that I had. By the time I got to floor gallery, the majority of my tile had been ordered through a different company. This recommendation to go to Floor Gallery was a Jackpot of a recommendation! I received excellent design help and advice from Jennifer and her associates at the floor gallery. For the final portion of my tile needs, I was extremely cost conscious wanting pieces that would work but that were also very affordable. Jennifer was quickly able to steer me in the right directions in her show room and also brought out tile she had in stock left over from another job as an option. While I was working with Floor Gallery, it became apparent that my first tile order (through another company) was woefully mis-measured and the order was short for all of the rooms. Jennifer quickly put together a quote and had the tile ordered and ready to use within a week of our placing the order. Some of the tile had been discontinued, making it difficult to track down. Because of the time between my 2 tile orders we experienced some differences with dye lots. Jennifer took care of all of these issues behind the scenes such that the correct tile was to the job site in a timely manner. I was continually kept abreast of developments and issues as they occurred, but Floor Gallery completely addressed all of the glitches in a timely and most professional manner. The timely and professional manner are all the more appreciated given the lack of communication and customer service from the business I had originally placed my order with. My job/order was by no means a big order. It was also readily apparent to Floor Gallery that the majority of my tile monies were spent with another business. Given the nature of our project, it would be safe for Floor Gallery to realize that it would likely be a decade or more before we would have any future flooring needs. That makes for very impressive customer service. Despite no short term financial benefits to be gained from the extra time and attention to detail ensuring our needs were met where done out of a sincere desire to do a job well. Very refreshing and most appreciative, especially in the shadows of my tile experience with the first business I ordered from. Jennifer had great design ideas and we are so happy with the finished tiled backsplashes. They look amazing. I look forward to when I do have future flooring needs, working with Jennifer and her staff at the Floor Gallery along with their upbeat and cheerful personalities.
