Found the Fan Man website and submitted an email to request a quote. Received a call in about an hour. Mark came out the next business day to give us a quote. He was very professional and knowledgeable about attic ventilation, our radiant barrier (installed by another company last fall which was causing our attic to be overly heated) and other energy efficient technology. His 2 guys came out 3 days later and installed 2 fans in about an hour. They were on time and very professional. We are very pleased and our upstairs A/C unit does not have to work so hard to keep up with the heat! Thanks!!

Great. I called to ask for an estimate. They sent someone out at my convenience, and he arrived promptly at the appointed time. He did a thorough inspection of all of my attic space, pointed out to me things I'd never noticed, and suggested where the fan should be placed for optimal cooling. I booked an appt for the following Mon for installation (again, at my convenience as they had appts available the next day). They arrived on time, and were done within 45 mins. They explained exactly what they were going to do, how long it would take. They were very professional and I'm pleased with the work.

The experience was good. They did their job essentially, nothing outstanding. We haven't had any leaks so that's a good thing.

They showed up on time, installed the fans, explained how they worked, and even did some extra work for me at no extra charge. I'm very happy with them so far. I do have to say that I was surprised at the price because I don't think of my house as large, yet it required 2 fans. The pay back period is 4-8 years.

The fan they put in didn't leak. It wasn't cheap, but it was affordable. They guarantee it for leaks for a lifetime. They were clean, quick and helpful.

Fan Man installed 2 attic fans about 4 years ago and they worked well in keeping the attic about 35 degrees cooler than the one smaller fan that had been installed earlier. After 4 or more years of great service, one of the fans seized up. I called to get them to come out for what I would call a routine service call and they did so much more. The most amazing thing was that it did not cost me one single cent. This should have cost me $200 or more but they said I had a lifetime guarantee with Fan Man and everything was covered. I have recommended them to anyone that needs attic fans or fans for any purpose. I am tickled with this outfit.

The fan installer and the electrician were scheduled to arrive at 7:00am and they arrived on time; not normally the case in the south, especially on a Monday morning. They proceeded to install the three fans and were finished in just over two hours. Before leaving, they went over the fans operations and the warranties with me and assured me that the company's lifetime warranty was just that and that I'd never have to pay anything for whatever needed to be replaced.

I first met Mark at a Home Improvement Show in Charlotte. We made an appointment for the next week. He was early for our appointment. Discussed what was needed (only one fan was needed to replace the two old fans). Discussed warranty, price and work schedule. His people showed up the next day and on time. The procedure took about and hour and was very professionally done. It's great to see a company do what they say they will do. I will use them again.

Very professional. Not sure if we have a leak yet since we haven't had any rain for awhile this summer. I like the life time guarantee they give so if I do have a problem they will come back and fix whatever it is at no charge. If they don't Angie's List will be the first to know!

They did pretty good, except I have a couple spots on my roof that I'm concerned about. I will be contacting the company about.

Fan Man and crew provided excellent service, from Barbara, who came out to provide the estimate, to the two installers (one electrician, one roofer) who politely and quickly installed the fan and cleaned up after themselves (this does involve minor mess when the hole is cut in the roof). They pointed out that the roof ridge vent was not opened, which saved a few dollars that would have been charged if they had to close it. They were on time, took no longer than 1 hour 15 minutes or so (in about 130 degree temperature in the attic) and were quite pleasant to work with.

THIS COMPANY DESERVES TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST. I LEFT A MESSAGE ON A WEEKEND, CALL WAS RETURNED PROMPTLY ON MONDAY MORNING. MARK, PRESIDENT, KEPT HIS APPOINTMENT TO THE MINUTE. DURING THIS TIME PERIOD OUR HEAT WAS RUNNING NEAR 100 DEGREES. JOB WAS DONE ON SCHEDULE, IN TEMPERATURES IN THE ATTIC CLOSE TO 140 DEGREES OR HIGHER. TWO EMPLOYEES PERFORMED THE WORK, ONE ON A VERY HIGH PITCHED ROOF, THE OTHER IN THE ATTIC. A HOT JOB ON A HOT DAY, AND THEY WERE DRIPPING WET. THEY PERFORMED LIKE PROFESSIONALS, KNOWING HOW TO HANDLE HEIGHTS, AND AWARE OF SAFETY. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THESE TWO YOUNG FELLOWS THAT MARK SENT OUR. BELIEVE THEIR NAMES WERE JASON & PHILLIP... BUT THIS IS THE ENGLISH SPELLING OF PHILLIP. WOULD BE BENEFICIAL TO HAVE A CATEGORY SET UP FOR ATTIC VENTILATION SYSTEMS, BECAUSE IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND SOMEONE WHO DOES THIS TYPE WORK. THEY INSTALLED HIGH QUALITY FANS WITH LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR PARTS AND LABOR. HARD TO BELIEVE NO ONE HAS NOMINATED THIS COMPANY BEFORE NOW.
