The representative came out as scheduled and assessed the problem. I agreed to his price and he set up an appointment for his installers to do the work. They arrived on time and performed the job very quickly and thoroughly.

The installers were professional, quick and efficient. Overall, they did a good job.

From the time I contacted them, to when they provided a quote, all the way to the installation, they did everything I asked of them. They were professional, courteous, punctual, and reliable. I'd be happy to refer them to anyone.

Did not receive a response on web form, but when I called and left voicemail, they promptly returned my call. Mark Romano scheduled consultation to survey existing fan. Appropriately set expectations that they do not delve to far in to existing fan repairs. Another gentleman showed up at appointment time and reviewed our options. We did decide to replace the ancient fan with new system. He was very honest and helpful, and provided a fair quote. (I had done research on the type of fan they sell as well as labor for fan installation. Everything added up just as expected.) Within the same week of consultation, installation team arrived. Super quick and very, very friendly. Our expectations were set they would be no longer than 45 minutes, but they were done well before that time frame. Very happy with services provided and looking forward to a cooler house!

Met the owner at a home show in Charlotte and expressed my concern about heat buildup in my attic. Ron explained how powered attic fans worked for many situations and made appointment to look at my attic and make a recommendation. He was prompt with our appointment and a quick inspection revealed that when the roofers installed my ridge venting, they did not open up both sides and this would account for some of my problems. He recommended a power vent. We discussed solar as an alternative, but he felt a regular AC power fan would do a great job and provide a considerable savings on AC. I had a power fan before, but it quit working and a new roof allowed me to add ridge ventilation. My attic was cooler before the ridge venting. Ron allowed me to go in the attic with him during inspection and pointed out the issues with ridge venting. I made the decision to use his company and his two installers showed up the following Monday and completed the job professionally within 30 minutes. I accompanied the installer in the attic and was pleased with his workmanship and professionalism. When these men left there was no sign of their visit except for a new attic fan. They took care to use a stand away ladder so they would not damage my gutter helmet which was recently installed. Best of al, a lifetime warranty for ANY problems including the motor. Perhaps I can add to this when warm weather gets here, but based on previous experience I believe this will offer the relief from heat in the attic and cost savings as well.

Very competent company that knew what had to be done. They explained what needed to be done and what they did to our satisfaction.

Mark, The owner came over and gave me an estimate. After a small shipping issue, Approximately one week later they installed the fan. Mark, along with the installer were very professional. Overall the work went went well, they showed up when they said they would, provided an accurate estimate, and completed the work on time, The fans seem to be doing the job keeping the temperature down in the attic, I look forward to seeing the cooling bills

I had the fan put in a few years ago in the attic, they came right out and did the repair so I give them credit for that. I'd recommend them to others.

I had been looking for 2 attic fans installations for about 6 months. I did contact three different contractors to compare the potential costs and process for installation. My most recent research included solar fans but I choose the standard models. Fan Man was the last of the 3 that I had called for quotes. After talking and researching the proposals, I went with Fan Man in spite of the fact that his quote was the highest by a slight amount. His presentation of the process and the excellent history on Angie's List placed him number one. He was able to schedule the installation the next day and the work was done with a great deal of organization, expertise and competence. The work team come in and went right to work and were finished within approximately 1 1/2 hours! The work included a warranty for the fans & workmanship. The fans kicked in immediately and I could feel the difference right away. I would recommend Fan Man to anyone!

Based on the ratings on Angie's List, we decided to have The Fan Man install two attic fans. Due to a storm that knocked out power to part of the city, the installers called and asked if they could come a day earlier than the appointment, which was perfect for us. The installation went very quickly, and when I went into the attic that afternoon at 5pm the temperature was probably 40 to 50 degrees lower than the previous day, which made our upstairs environment cooler. We had a very minor leak of just a few ounces of water from one of the fans as well as a longer term undiscovered leak from a nearby roof vent during a tremendous rain storm a few weeks later, and The Fan Man's installers came back out early the next morning and addressed both leaks, fixing the nearby vent while they were up there and at no charge. We were completely satisfied not only with their value and timeliness, but also with their installation and follow-up service. They service what they sell and they do it efficiently.

They were professional, and explained what they needed to do. They added a reflectant paper on the attic wall in the area around the fan in order to seal from backflow of air. I was pleased with the work they did.

Great from start to finish. I simply made an appointment for installation of the 2nd fan, they installed it, warranteed it & backed it up 100% at no additional cost!

I had checked out some other companies in general who did that type of work and he was one of the preferred providers on Angie's List. There was also a coupon. The owner came out initially and gave me an estimate. He was very laid back and he was not pushy in terms of selling some other services. I asked him some questions about solar fans but he did not recommend that even though it was more expensive. He asked me to not do that as it was not what I needed up there and that I could do with the regular fan which would be one fan as opposed to three. He was very personable. He was very forth coming and forth right in his opinions. I was pleased with that. He was able to get the work done within ten days. He did only fans and did not do any other work unlike some other companies that did roofing or repair work. He had another location in Raleigh. He has been doing this for over seven years and he seemed to know as to what he was talking about. I had some roofing work that needed to be done and so, I was supposed to do solar but he said that the solar fans would not be appropriate to the configuration of the house. Also, he said that it would be two and half time more expensive without any real benefit. He said that I would be beneficial to do the regular electric fan than the solar fan.

The estimate was performed on 6/7/11. After a brief comparison with other providers, we hired the firm to install an electric attic fan on the roof of our home. Because of weather, the installation had to be changed from the 20th until the 21st. The two workers arrived on time and the installation lasted about 30 minutes and without a problem.

Mark returned my first call quickly and was very knowledgeable and helpful about the product and service. We schedule the install and the day of his worker never showed up. Once Mark was aware he explained that he and the worker had mis-communicated on our job verses another job. Mark offered to do the job immediately the next day and provide a discount. The installation went smoothly, the worker was very nice and then a great job.

It went very well. The features of the vent were explained in detail. The installation crew showed up right, were extremely professional and nice on time and did a wonderful job.

I had him come during one of the hottest days. I was very satisfied with his work. His price was a little high, but he came when I needed him. I don't have any problems. He came when he said he would. He cleaned up and took care of everything. You wouldn't even know he was here, except that now the fans are working.

They seemed to have experience, and the price was right. They could also answer all of my questions.
