+ -1 moreWhen we started construction in Sept, 2017 we found that the lot was unusable without sinking at least $30k in a pier foundation. We could not afford that and now with are trying to sell the lot WITH FULL disclosures and it will not sell
Description of Work: This man purchased a creek bed lot in Millswood Place in Mooresville in 2004. He put in a culvert to divert a creek and watershed and then filled in the lot with fill dirt without using standard business practices of compacting the dirt. He sold that lot without disclosures to Kelly G Walker for $46000 in 2006 who subsequently lost the lot in a bankruptcy. My husband and I purchased that lot through a bank resale in 2013....still with no disclosures

+ -1 moreJay came recommended to me by another contractor, returned my phone call in a timely manner and actually showed up to provide a quote to demolish and remove an outbuilding from my property. His price was fair and in line with the other quotes I received. I selected him to do the work because he seemed nice, responsive and could get to the work when I needed it done - which happened to be on a Saturday. While Jay and his crew were on my property performing the work I hired him to do, he was asked to help break up and remove a failed concrete pad and was kind enough to take the extra time on a Saturday to help. Jay cleaned up a very messy demo site when he was all done and I was very pleased with how nice the area looked after he and his crew left. Also, I asked Jay for a receipt for the work and had it emailed to me within minutes of him completing the work. I would definitely work with Jay / his company again if the need arose and would highly recommend him / them.
Description of Work: Demolished an outbuilding and its foundation from my property and hauled it away; broke up and removed a failed concrete pad.
